I stood in the bathroom in front of me mirror the next morning

"What the fuck happened last night?" Becky asked me walking into the bathroom with her eyes nearly closed I chuckled

"You nearly shagged the drummer"

She looked at me with wide eyes

"I did what?" She asked

"You made out with him for a good twenty minutes" i chuckled finishing my make up

"Oh my god" she said under her breath

"Don't worry lass, ya got his phone number" I said walking out of the bathroom

I got dressed and lighted a ciggy

"You need to go to work today right?" I asked her "I'm not going mate, i gotta call bob and that i don't have time for work" she said

I laughed "it's just a guy you know" i said brushing trough my hair "his not just a guy for me Lexi, i gotta shag him before his off to the next city"

I chuckled shaking my head

"Don't worry 'bout that lass, they are here for three days" i said grabbing my jacket

She looked at me confused "wait, how do you know?" She asked me

"Van told me, i gotta go goodbye mate" I said

"Yeah goodbye have fun at work" she joke

I rolled my eyes smiling closing the door behind me

Becky and i were friends since i was four

Did you call the guy already?

I waited for an reply until Collin walked

"Oi oi lexi!" He said smiling walking towards me "looking gorgeous as always" he whispered looking at me i shook my head smiling

"What's up with you then?" I asked

"Got laid last night- i actually saw you walking out of the around the conner" he said lighting an ciggy

I nodded "yeah i went out with becky and some mates" I said

"Becky that fit one?" He asked

I rolled my eyes "yes becky the fit one" i sighed

"Ah, did the princess had a rough night eh?" He asked me "nah, your just a twat" he laughs standing up "oh?" He said "feck off Collin" I joked "those lads from yesterday who are you so said mates they look familiar to me, aren't they from this indie band?" He asked me

I looked at him "yeah catfish and the bottlemen they are called, becky said" I said looking at him grabbing some records and putting them in the right places, he nodded "I know they, me mates listen to them, pretty mad you are mates with 'em though" he said "we we aren't mates we met them yesterday and the drummer offered becky-" I started "the fit one" he smirked "the fit one, a drink and i came along and we just chatted and that" he said he nodded "can i get her phone number?" She asked "becky's?" I asked raising an eyebrow

He nodded "nah mate, she has a thing for the drummer and your not her type lad" I chuckled

"And you? Am i your type?" He smirked

"No Collin feck off"

"So he asked us if we wanted to go out again" becky explained i sighed "I'm tired and what's in it for me? Nothing." I said sitting on my couch "you can get along with van right? Please Lexi" she said looking at me

I lighted a cigarette while looking at her

She really wanted this, i sighed

"Grab ya purse" I said, she smiled "thank you love" she whispered hugging me "yeah yeah" i chuckled getting up

We got ready and walked out of my apartment

"You ever thought about moving out and getting ya own apartment?" I asked

She shook her head while walking "nah I'm good, your apartment is mine right? And i have me parents house most of time to myself" she chuckled i shook my head laughing

We walked into the bar, i saw them already "thank you again for coming with me" she whispered i nodded "no worries" I whispered

"Hello" Bob said smiling hugging her

I sat on a barstool next to van and gave him a small smile "alright?" He asked i nodded "fine, thank you" i said looking at him he nodded smiling, I looked at Becky who was sitting next to Bob smiling "you two live here any close?" He asked i nodded looking at him "around the corner" I said he nodded having a small grin laying on his lips every time he talked

"That's class, having a good bar around the corner man" he said nodding "yeah innit" I whispered before ordering a beer

"I'll pay" he said at the bar man "oh you don't hav-" I started but got cut off "I want to" he said looking at me i gave him a small smile

That rockstar.

"What comes after this, rockstar? Offering me a ride home?" I asked him smirking "I don't have a car so that would be impossible isn't it? But we can always walk" he said smiling i shook my head with a grin on my chapped lips

"I'm only kidding love, I'm not like that, but would it be odd offering you a walk home since it's already twelve am and we just started talking? Couldn't let a gorgeous lass like you walk alone in the dark innit?" He asked

"Right" I whispered smiling "I've got me mate with me" I said pointing at Becky

He chuckled drinking the rest of his beer

"So you gonna sleep at bob's tonight?" I asked her she nodded "and me? How am i getting home?" I asked not wanting to walk alone since there were a lot of creeps around here

"I'll walk you home" I heard behind me

I turned around "you don't have to van" I said

"I want to, now let's go" he said

I glared at becky and walked out of the bar with van "oi oi!" I heard I looked across the street

"Lexi love!" I heard Collin say "just keep walking" I said to van he nodded

"Lexi" Collin said standing in front of me

"Hello mate" I sighed "how's this?" He asked being fucking hammered "van, from catfish and the bottlemen" I said with a nod "oh yeah you told me bout him, your mate right, hello I'm Collin Lexi's boyfriend" he said smiling shaking van's hand

I looked at van who was confused looking at me I shook my head rolling my eyes

"Feck off Collin" I said grabbing van's arm

"Goodnight love!" He yelled

After 5 minutes of waking we arrived at my apartment, I opened the door of my apartment and looked at van "thank you for walking me home" i said "no worries, was that Collin guy actually your boyfriend or was he talking shite?" He asked "he works with me in the record shop across the street, he fucked literally every lass here in town" I chuckled he nodded and laughed "anyways, cheers for the class evening goodnight Lexi" he said with an deep accent "van?" I asked "yes love?" He said turning to me "you want something to drink?" I asked he smiled and nodded walking in my apartment

"Don't look at all that mess" I said walking into the kitchen "I won't look lass"

I poured myself and van a whine "oh love, I'm not a whine drinker, I don't drink anything other then beer" he chuckled

I nodded "right, I've got some left i think" I said looking in the fridge

"Cheers love"

I walked towards him and sat down with him ik my small kitchen, i handed him the glass of beer "thank you" he said i nodded

"So you enjoying Leeds?" I asked him he nodded "it's amazing over here like always is" he said smiling i lighted a cigarette as he did

"You played here before?" I asked "yeah but not in venues though more in like bars and on carparks" he said i nodded "you enjoy living like a rockstar?" I chuckled "well i suppose I'm not a straight up rock star like Kurt cobain or anything I'm dead simple, a little banana, a bit of special K and a pack of cigarettes and I'm sweet you know what i mean, and if i can buy me mom a jacuzzi one day life is good but I'm not here for the money I'm here for playing live music and paying football stadiums and shagging groupies and that, that's not my thing i don't even have groupies" he chuckled

My expression changed, and so did my opinion for him.

"I didn't expect that" I said

He chuckled drinking some of his beer

"Most of the people don't" he said smiling

I nodded "me mate is probably shagging yours at the moment" I said after a silence

He nodded "definitely"

I looked at the time "you tired love?" He asked i shook my head "I'm not, but i have work in the morning and since its 4 in the morning i should probably sleep by now" i chuckled he nodded standing up "sorry love" he said "oh no don't worry other wise i would be cleaning Becky up since she's hammered so, it was actually nice getting to know you better van" I said

He drank the last bit of his beer and walked towards the front door of me "it was nice getting to know you too, Thank you for letting me stay for a bit" he said smiling

"No worries van, goodnight" I whispered opening the door for him "goodnight love"
