"you doing good Kelley, that was a nasty hit," I say to the defender at half time during the finals.

"yeah but I'm being subbed for concussion protocol which sucks," the little squirrel says complaining.

"aww I'm sorry Kels, everyone knows you would've played the full 90 if you could," I say putting a hand on her shoulder.

"seconds half starting girls let's go!" The staff shout as we get ready to go back out in hopes to break the 0-0 score.

"Hey T" Alex whispers behind me while we wait in the tunnel

"If you score a goal I might have to give you a reward" She whispers seductively making me almost choke

"a-and what is that reward" I ask stuttering a little

"let's just say" Alex starts before getting closer to my ear

"I hope whoever is next door brought earplugs," She says just as we're told to walk out.

Jesus christ Alex Morgan, you seriously went there huh.

"That's a penalty Ref!" I shout running over to Alex's side as she's taken down in the box.

"you okay Lex," I ask looking the forward in the eyes

"I think so, she just got my side pretty hard," She says wincing a little "but I'm good to play still"

"I'm pretty sure if you broke your arm you would still want to play" I say chuckling as I help lift her off the floor

"sounds like me" she says smiling.

They were given a yellow card and the referee gave us the penalty kick, Tobin took it like normal and slotted it away just like every other time.

"We need to get another goal and help solidify the win ladies" Tobin shouts as we jog back to our half

"you hear that T looks like it's your cue," Alex says winking at me before getting into her spot

I intercept the ball near the middle half and dribble it upfield trying to look for any plays that are going on but everyone's surrounded by Netherland players

Alex's words ring in my head a little and I look up to the goal and decide to fire one at it. I take the ball in my left foot and send a rocket to the bottom corner. I watch the keeper try to get to her fingers to it but she's not quick enough and it ends up in the back of the net.

I turn around and run straight to Alex, jumping into her as she held me up.

"That was amazing!" She screams putting me down as Christen comes over too.

I run over to the sidelines and hug the rest of the team who are all celebration the goal on the edge of the pitch.

"That was an absolute blast!" Kelley says hugging me

"why haven't you done that before!" Ash screams out.

I just laugh at my teammates and run back to our half ready to help keep our two-goal lead.

The final whistle blows and I collapse to the floor, my head in my hands as I try and stop myself from crying. I feel someone wrap their arms around my body and hug me from on top

"you did it, T, you fucking won the World Cup," Alex says to me, I sit up and look her in the eyes suddenly wanting to grab her by the sides of the face and kiss her senseless but decide to hug her instead.

"Thank you, Lex, I finally feel happy and that's because of you," I say kissing her lightly on the neck.

"come on let's go celebrate with the team and fans," She says smiling at me

"you go and see your family first, I know you want to," I tell Alex

"you can come with if you want" She offers

"it's fine Lex I've got my own family to see," I say looking over to Jill

"Okay but I'm introducing you to my family later" she says before running off towards the family and friends section.

I head to Jill and see her turn to look at me smiling. I just hug the mother figure in my life and stay like that for a while.

"I'm so proud of you Toni, so so proud" Jill whispers in my ear making me shed a few tears

"I know I don't tell you enough but, thank you Jill, you saved me all those years ago and I know I wouldn't be here without you, I fell back in love with soccer and myself," I tell her watching as she sheds a few tears herself

"you're still my daughter Toni, I don't care if I never got to officially adopt you, you are still my kid" Jill says kissing me on the forehead.

"I love you mom" I whisper in Jill's ear, she freezes in her spot for a second and I don't know whether I messed up or not but she soon pulls me into a bone-crushing hug.

"come on, Lily has been dying to see you all this time," Jill says making me smile.

"were is that little munchkin," I say looking towards the side to see her running towards me

"Toni!" She screams as I catch her.

"you're all grown up" I say looking at the now teenager.

"Yeah well I'm 15 now Toni" She tells me proudly.

"And I'm grey and old apparently," I say making her laugh.

"I've missed you Ant" She mumbles into my neck

"I've missed you too Munchkin and I promise I won't stay away for that long again," I say kissing my little sister on the side of the head.

"come in Lily, let Toni go celebrate with her team and we'll see her after," Jill says smiling at me.

I look out into the crowd and a smile to myself, everyone is hugging their families or friends, all with huge grins on their face. I was about to head towards some fans when I see Alex waving me over.

"Guys this is Toni, you've probably seen her all over the news," Alex says introducing me to her family

"it's nice to meet you all," I say smiling at the Morgan family

"you had a fantastic tournament sweetie, we were all rooting for you," Alex's mom says

"thank you Mrs Morgan that's very kind of you," I say smiling at the older women

"Oh Pam is just fine sweetie, Mrs Morgan makes me sound like my mother," She says.

"I've got to go now guys but I'll see you in a bit okay," Alex says kissing her family goodbye before walking with me

"your mom seems lovely" I tell Alex.

"she is, it's always us together growing up when Jeri and Jeni moving to college" Alex explains to me.

"you didn't have to leave, you could've spent more time with them you know," I say confused as to where we are actually going

"I know but there's something really important I need to do," Alex tells me before dragging me into the tunnel and to the bathroom

"Lex what are yo-" I say but I'm cut off by her lips smashing themselves onto mine.

I can feel the lust and hunger in the kiss and it momentarily catches me off guard. She swipes her tongue against my bottom lip trying to gain access but she's not having it that easily.

I squeeze her butt lightly causing a small moan to escape her lips allowing me to take control of the kiss and explore her mouth further. I pick her up and carry her to the sink, placing her down and straddling in between her legs, my hands roaming the sides of her body.

Oxygen soon becomes an issue but I'm not stopping anytime soon so I attach my lips to her neck and pepper her with kisses before I hit her sweet spot making her moan a little.

I smirk against her skin and suck lightly on that spot trying to not cause a mark while Alex runs her hands up and down my back, her nails digging into me from on top of the jersey.

My hands travel under her shirt a little and make their way up towards her breast, squeezing them underneath the sports bra she's wearing. Alex lifts her arms over her head and I take her top fully off figuring out what she wants pretty quickly.

She grabs my face against and attaches my lips back onto hers while her hands travel up my back this time, so I lift my arms up and let her remove my jersey leave us both in our shorts.

I move my hands off hers and cover my stomach realising that my scars are now showing.

"They are nothing to be ashamed of T, some hide them when you're with me, I think they make you look even hotter" Alex says to me

"you're so beautiful Lex" I whisper running my hands all over her body.

Alex moves her hands to my abs, running her fingers along the valleys and down to my waistband.

"your abs are so sexy" She whispers in my ear before nipping the lobe of it which really turns me on for some reason.

"We. Should. Really. Stop" I say in between kisses.

Alex pulls me in for one last kiss leaving us panting for our breath afterwards

"I've wanted to do that for so long," Alex tells me, resting our foreheads together

"that makes two of us" I mumble back.

"We better get back out before people start to wonder where we got off to," Alex says wrapping her arms around the back of my neck

"well then we'll have to continue this later and maybe I can collect my reward" I say winking as I help her down off the ledge

"oh yeah, you scored didn't you," Alex says smirking at me as she picks up her top from the floor.

"did that slip your mind" I say joking pulling my jersey back on

"It must have done," She says smirking at me while she grabs my hand and drags me out of the bathroom.

"Well don't forget again," I say

"wait, what are we talking about, I can't remember," she says smugly to me before running off towards our teammates.

I swear this girl is going to be the death of me.
