Kaiden walked up to her long time crush, Venn, holding a bouquet of pink roses. "Hey, Venn"he spoke. She turned around slowly, her face full of shock.
"Is that for me?"she asked pretending to be oblivious about the roses.
"Yea,do you like it?"he asked, his cheeks reddening as he scratched the back of his neck shyly.
"I love it"she cheered taking the roses from him and hugging him. "Thank you"she smiles admiring the roses. "My mom has a garden in out backyard and it's so beautiful."
He smiled noticing that, that was the exact same thing the girl from Advice Hotline said. It couldn't be her, he thought.
She grinned at him. "What's wrong?"she asked. "You okay?"
"Yea, I'm fine"he answered.
She danced in her head triumphantly after she noticed that he noticed something was off.
"Hey, do you work in the mornings on the weekend?"he questioned her.
"Yea, my mom said it's a great way to learn how to be independent, to make my own money"she responded, smelling the roses.
"Where do you work?"he asked.
"At my uncle's company"she smiled. "Why?"
"No reason, just curious"he laughed.
The bell rang signaling them to go to class. She gave him a peck on the cheeks pulling away immediately. "I'll see you later Kaiden."
"Bye"she waved as she ran to her class a smirk appeared on her face, knowing he wouldn't accuse her despite of the evidence being there.
He couldn't accuse her precious Venn for saying those things to him. She wasn't the person, who said all those things to him about Faye.

After school, he invited her to come over to his house. She had expected him to invite her. He was so predictable to her.
Everything about him was so predictable, she thought. "Hey, you know Faye?"she asked him sitting on his bedroom floor, twirling a mechanical pencil between her fingers.

"Yea,what about her?"he asked writing on his notebook, pretending not to care.
"Did she really die?"she asked him. "I mean, she was a girl who never really talked much and I saw her talking to you a lot before."
"They said she died, the funeral didn't take place here so I couldn't go"he said.
"Interesting"she smiled.
"Why do you asked?"he questioned sipping on his can of Fanta.
"Just curious, you know, just wondering why she would kill herself" she chuckled writing something down.
"Yea, no offense but who would be stupid enough to kill themselves?"he also chuckled but nervously.
"I heard someone called her ugly, specifically her crush rejected her because she was too ugly. He's such a horrible person, if that guy ever asks me out I would definitely reject him."
She smiled at him as he sat there frozen. "You alright?"
"I'm good. You just triggered some memories of me with her"he reasoned.
She smiled knowing full well, his guilt is eating him up and he is slowly starting to doubt her.

Cary Simms: The Fairy Mushroom Forest
From a young age, Cary Simms knew that she wasn't like the other boys her age. She didn't know why or how that was, but it seemed apparent to the bullies of her school. They would often call her names, chase after her after school, and beat her up when they could catch her. Her only protection, besides escape, was in the words of the Good Book. But that was before she stumbled into the supposedly haunted house at the end of her street. When a mysterious ring and a drawing on the back wall of the post office opened up a whole new world for her, things quickly went from weird to scary. At a new school, in a new world, surrounded by people who had access to magic, all Cary could think of was how to escape the witches that had her trapped there. It was only having her best friend by her side that gave her any comfort at all. ***This is my first attempt at a middle grade book, and would appreciate feedback. Please note, this is a second draft, and might not represent the final product.***

Meanwhile at the Withershins Inn...
What happens when you mix one drunk fairy godmother with a multitude of blue cocktails, add a stubborn barmaid with a unique taste in adventures, and filter it all through a sarcastic narrator who can't seem to keep themselves out of the story? The Systems of the Multiverse - A Guide for the Multiversal Traveler
The Systems of the Multiverse have their issues. I, an observer from outside the multiverse have made it into my mission to tell you, the multiversal traveler about those issues and dangers. This is a relatively low effort NaNoWriMo and Writhathon project. I want to test myself if I can manage 55k words in a month, likely updating every single day until the end. This story is told in the form of an in universe book. Well, I say story... While this definetly won't be great, I still hope it will be enjoyable. I do my best to avoid grammar mistakes and spelling issues, but won't promise anything. Corrections are welcome, this is also an excercise to improve my writing from a technical standpoint. Not from a worldbuilding and character standpoint however, for that you need time. Oh, the keyboards (and computers) that the observer destroys are not real and only exists in story to have an excuse to easily end this story at the end of NaNoWriMo. I also personally like reading LitRPG stories, so this isn't meant to hate them. It might come over that way, but many of those issues are simply fun to think about: what would really happen if the world is so, seen through a lease of negativity :-) [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]
