If you really do like him, give him a break. Maybe he feels like he's drifting off from his friends, or maybe he wants to spend more time with them. Either way, that doesn't mean that he doesn't like you! Try to give him space for a while, and always be there for him. Just strike up normal conversations with him.

And, if you're ready, feel free to make the first move. You can start by giving hints that you like him, and then you can slowly tell him you have a crush on him. Don't be afraid of rejection, because if he doesn't like you back, it's not the end of the world. You're probably not going to marry him, so what's the big deal?
