It's wonderful to have you reaching out to us, and just as a reminder, we're always here to help! Now about that advice: I wish I could say that they'll just revert to being nice friends again, but you and I both know that isn't happening. You've already tried convincing them that whatever they think you did didn't happen, but we can say for sure now that that is futile. I honestly, and it pains me to say it, can see no other option but to cut ties with them. What you have isn't healthy at all. It isn't healthy to constantly have to be on the defensive, to constantly argue, yell, fight, and stress. I don't think that they have even earned the right lately to be your friends at all, let alone your best friends. Darling, it's okay to not have friends for a while. You have so many people who I know you can fall back on and will be your rock during this hard time. Don't worry. You'll find plenty of new people to fill the void that those two have dug inside of you. Consider this a break—a break from all the turmoil you've been facing for the longest time. Remember, when one door closes, another opens. Have a little hope and a little trust, and it'll go a long way. Just live each day in the moment. Focus on the things that make you happy and do them. These can be simple things like movie-hopping at the theaters, bungee jumping, or going on night-time walks. Just focus on yourself for a while, and do a little self-healing. Darling, know that we are always here for you if push comes to shove, and that no matter what, you always will have someone to lean on. At the end of every dark tunnel is the light.
