This person's social battery runs out mid-conversation.

Hello,

To answer simply, yes, it is entirely normal for an introverted person to suffer from an empty social battery, even among our closest friends, or in the middle of conversation. And sometimes we are not in a position to end the conversation and go off to recharge on our own, and in moments like those we may have to "deal with it" for a little bit longer, but most of the time you will be able to politely and easily dismiss yourself. There is not any specific, appropriate response or anything you necessarily have to say. The majority of the time you can just let the conversation come to a natural close, and then go recoup.

I hope this help, love. Feel free to reach out again for more advice.

Stay strong,
