This person wants help picking a hair color.

Hey!

People who dye their hair in ombré shades usually pick a darker black/brown (i.e. most people's natural hair color) from the top, and either a light caramel brown or a blonde at the ends. These two ombré colors never go wrong, they're good to look at, suit everyone, and are quite appropriate for school.

However, if you're look for more colors that seem out of the box and your school does allow such colors, then you can go ahead and be bold. My personal favorite is dark brown at top and stale blue and grey ombré highlights at the ends.

Another suggestion is a medium chocolate brown overall hair with pink ombré highlights at the ends. This looks pretty nice and fresh. If you don't want chocolate brown, you can dye your hair a full ash brown color with pink ombré as well.

Personally, I would not recommend colors such as mint or orange in ombré hair. I think such a bright look could look very inappropriate for school. Light purple is another good hair color. Overall, I think ombré looks really well done when the color is a little lowkey and not too brightly eye-catching.
