So now moving on to your request. In the age where social medias are a thing, it’s gotten pretty easy for people—strangers and non-strangers—to be judgmental and find the faults over everything that we do, over the things that we enjoy, and just basically everything. When we post something on our social media, like it or not, we’re exposing ourselves to these unneeded harsh critiques. Sadly, there’s nothing much that you can do over these sort of people except for blocking them and ignoring them. One thing that you have to remember throughout your whole life is that there will always be people who will not like the things that we do even if the things that we do do not really bother them anyway. But you have to remember that them judging you and saying bad things about you only reflect on who they are as a person and not who you really are. A beautiful person doesn’t become ugly just become someone said they’re ugly.
Using filters are not fake. And people using it are definitely not ugly people. A lot of celebrities appear on magazine covers with tons of editing and filters imposed on their original photo and does that mean they’re ugly? They’re still beautiful without those filters so I’m sure you are too.
About your mother always talking to her boyfriend: I’m not sure of the closeness of your relationship to her but I think it would be good if you can try and talk to her about how you feel about it. She might be oblivious to what she’s doing and how it is affecting you and it’s good to try to communicate it to her to make her become aware of it.

The same thing can be said about your friend. It would be a good idea for you to reach out to her and start talking to her through any means possible. Be it Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, iMessage or WhatsApp. However, if you found your effort not being reciprocated by her, the harsh truth is that sometimes we will drift apart from people that we care about the most and it happens all the time in our life. It would be hard at first because you’ll remember the good times that you both share but over time, but soon enough the pain will be dull enough for you to be able to move on with your life and look forward.
