Hi. So I really like this guy and I keep hinting that I do, but he either doesn't like me back or is a huge idiot and doesn't notice. Anyways, other than that, he is sending me mixed signal. Like, we will be texting and he will be all flirty and stuff but then he will flirt with a mutual friend,Kat, and she tells me about it. Also, I am ALWAYS the one to start the conversation, and sometimes he just flat out ignores me. I asked Kat what I should do and she said "dont text him, make him start the convo." But im not sure if I should because she acts like she likes him. (And is way more forward and outgoing, therefore they are closer then me and him are and she has known him for not even half as long as I have) so I dont know what to do. Please help :(

If you think this guy....let's call him Tyler, if you think Tyler and Kay are close then you need to start becoming closer to him.
Don't over do it on the flirting, boys don't really like it when girls:

•are attention seekers
•brag
•throw themselves at guys
•have no self respect
•act needy
•act desperate
If I were you I wouldn't text him first every sine time, but it's okay to text first sone times. Text him like you're texting one of your best friends, don't send longgggggggggggggg messages and don't act you have a crush on him.
Try to talk about him and things he likes (hobbies,sports,video games,music,etc.)
