When the house was in sight, I could see all of the Cullens rigidly standing in a line. It was as if they were waiting for something. What were they waiting for?

I soon acquired my answer as the same group of wolves from my earlier spat surrounded them. Copperhead tried to reason with them but they just wouldn't listen. Shit. 'They aren't going to go away without a fight,' I thought just seconds before a wolf leapt at my mate. 'Oh hell no!'

I creeped out of the shadows and pounced onto its back, effectively taking it down.

After getting up, I started to pace in front of the family and growled lowly at the wolves.

The alpha took a step towards the family and I let out the most vicious roar I could. Even so, that didn't stop him. He then charged at me and my instincts kicked in as I clawed at his face.

Glaring at the rest of the pack, I decided to tell how it is. 'This is between your alpha and I. No one is to interfere. I will rip out your throat if you do.' I linked them.

Their faces were comical and if I were in a different situation, I would have laughed.

The alpha came at me again, but this time he was much more aggressive about it. I sunk my teeth in his neck to the point that it wasn't enough to kill him, just enough to seriously harm and get my message across. I tossed him to the side and tiredly transformed back to my human form.

My short 5'1" frame stood straight and my albino skin glowed. My light purple eyes bore into the alpha as my straight snowy hair blew behind me.

The alpha then slowly analyzed me before focusing on something behind me.

Turning around I saw my mate. His wavy, honey blond hair reached his chin and his gold eyes meet mine. I felt a connection immediately to this gorgeous six foot tall man.

The alpha was looking between my mate and I. It was then that I knew he figured out we were mates and I also knew there was a good chance he would attack again.

I growled threateningly back at him at the same time my soulmate did.

The alpha then launched himself at Jasper. Instinctively, I jumped between two, hearing a masculine voice shout as jaws locked around my throat.

Darkness quickly began to engulf me before the wolf was pried from my neck and my mind surrendered to the lack of light.

Hello to all my peeps out there.

I know I said I would have this all done by the 10 and it is now the 11. I apologize for that. It is fair week, I am superintendent of the poultry barn, I drive to the fair 2-3 times a day for office work days, pageants, auctions, and to take care of my two turkeys. I am forgetting and mixing up my days and I hope y'all can forgive me for that.

Anyway, I'll update more later tonight and I hope you'll enjoy the minor adjustments to this chapter.
