《Sweet tooth (Tobi/Obito x reader)》Epilogue

(Y/n) sat next to the window, staring out at the horizon. She did this quite often, she just sat there waiting. Who was she waiting for? Well, Obito of course. It had been a few months since he had left. The Akatsuki members had died one by one and now the only remaining ones were (Y/n) and Obito. He was going to war with the great nations so that there would world peace. (Y/n) liked the idea of that, a world where everyone got along. A world where others wouldn't discriminate against her for the way she looked or spoke. She let out a quiet sigh and leaned back in her chair. Her hand instinctively rested on top of her swollen belly. "Mommy?", a voice calls. (Y/n) turns her head to see Tsuki standing behind her. "Yes?". "Um, why do you always sit there and stare out the window?", she asks. (Y/n) smiles at the young wolf girl and turns her attention back to the window. "Because one day Obito is going to come back and I am going to see him walking through the field towards our house". Before Obito had left to go to war he had relocated (Y/n) and Tsuki, now they were living in a small rural cottage. Suddenly it got a lot darker, the sudden change in temperature sent shivers down (Y/n)'s spine. She peeked out the window and noticed that it was becoming night. Her eyes widen slightly as a sick feeling filled her stomach, she knew something was wrong. She quickly grabbed Tsuki and pulled her down into the basement. "What's going on Mommy?", Tsuki asks. (Y/n) sends her daughter a reassuring smile and hugs her. "I'm not sure but I know that we will be safe down here". Tsuki nods and begins collecting things to make beds in the basement. Blankets, pillows, mattresses, they had it all. Tsuki cuddled into her mother and easily fell asleep, Haru sleeping with them too. (Y/n) smiled lightly and fell asleep along with her daughter and brother.

A few hours later (Y/n) awoke and sniffed the air. She knew whatever she had found threatening before was no longer of harm. She slowly got up, making sure not to wake up Tsuki and Haru. She then left the basement and took a seat in the chair which she always occupied. She stared out at the sky, her eyes glued to the moon. It was different, it looked like a rinnegan. "This must be it", she whispers. "The Infinite Tsukuyomi". (Y/n) then stood back up and walked back to the basement, Obito had done it and hopefully, he would come home soon.
Timeskip
(Y/n) expected that Obito would return the next day and was surprised to see that he hadn't. It saddened her, especially since she had been so excited to see him again. She also couldn't wait to show him that she was pregnant with his child. She rubbed her stomach gently and looked out at the sky, the moon was visible and the Infinite Tsukuyomi was gone. (Y/n) wondered what had happened? Had Obito lost? Had Obito... died? She tried to shake away these thoughts but she knew it was idiotic to ignore them. There was a possibility that Obito was gone forever and her child would have to grow up without a father. She turned and looked over to the couch where Haru sat, peacefully sleeping. A smile graced her lips as tears began to drip down her face, what if she never sees him again?
Timeskip
A few days later everything seemed to go back to normal. Every night (Y/n) would look up at the sky and the reflection of the rinnegan would be nowhere in sight. She let out a quiet sigh and began walking over to her chair. When she entered the room she saw Tsuki sitting there, looking out the window. "T-Tsuki, what are you doing?", her mother asks. Tsuki looks back at her with a smile. "You were busy so I wanted to watch and see if Daddy comes back while you were doing something else", she says sweetly. (Y/n) smiles lovingly at her daughter and leaves the room before she could break down into tears. Would they sit there forever, awaiting someone who may never return? She wipes away her tears and keeps her head held high, she had to stay strong. For herself, for Tsuki, for Haru, for the baby.

Twenty minutes later (Y/n) heard a loud gasp. "Mommy!". (Y/n) rushes into the room to see her daughter pointing out the window as tears dripped off her face. She ran to the window and looked out to see a man walking towards their house. It looked like Obito except he had white hair. (Y/n) swung the door open and ran outside, tears streaming down her face. Obito looked up at her and smiled, doing his best to get to her as fast as he could. (Y/n) didn't care that she was carrying a baby, she ran like her life depended on it. As soon as she was close she threw her arms around his neck and held him close. "I'm so glad you're safe", she cries. Obito doesn't even speak he pulls away slightly and places his hands on her stomach, tears threatening to fall from his own eyes. "My baby?", he asks, his voice cracking slightly. (Y/n) happily nods and leans forward, capturing the Uchiha's lips in a sweet longing kiss. Tsuki ran out of the house and joined their embrace. Haru awake due to the noise and joined in too. Never had (Y/n) felt so happy to be back with the one she loved. Now they could finally be a happy family. (Y/n), Obito, Tsuki, Haru and their soon to be born baby boy, Kiba.

His eyes had turned bloodshot and his hands shook with rage. “The first thirty…” “Shut up!” Genzo bellowed “How dare you help these disrespectful gaijin?” Flecks of spit and madness flew from his face, his fist raised ready to strike. But Emi did not flinch, instead she was about ready to continue when Yuma Takeuchi interrupted her. “Uchida, please,” her sweet sounding words could melt ice. “I think we will have a better chance of getting home if we all work together.” When she glanced up with her sleepy looking eyes at Genzo Uchida he deflated visibly. “Were not getting home.” Uchida said coolly. “Group summoning, large, that puts us in the 60 series. No one came to greet us after five minutes of arrival. That leaves scenarios 68 and 69. In scenario 68 there is something that binds the large group together; they are all classmates or a single family. But thanks to the gaijin” he spit out the word “I think we are scenario 69 with no way home.” Ikko Inoue’s eyes went wide, while Katsukno and Hayata started muttering to themselves. Tim took on a serious look and rubbed his scruffy chin. Emi maintained her stoic expression while trying to find something to refute. McKenzie glanced at Randall and giggled. Randall took the prompting of his teammate and followed up by approaching Genzo. “Uh, so we are in a sixty-nine?” “Yes.” Replied Genzo with the seriousness of someone who’s life was about to end. McKenzie covered her mouth and snickered. “You and me, were stuck in a sixty-nine situation?” Randall pushed with a grin. “Yes, we are all stuck in a sixty-nine scenario together!” Genzo retorted in anger. McKenzie fell on her butt laughing. “What the hell is so funny?” Demanded Genzo, whose face had turned red. “It’s a problem with the automatic translation.” Retorted Tim. Randall, who seemed unable to quit started in again “So, about this sixty-ni…” Genzo interrupted Randall with a swift punch to the face. But, because of their height difference it was a bit of an uppercut that left Randall rattled. Tim and Ikko moved to step in between the two, but Genzo showed no further hostility. Instead he just stared at his clenched fist with such intensity it grabbed the attention of the room. “I unlocked a skill.” He said bluntly. ***************************** This is not a light novel, but people who like light novels should enjoy the themes of this book. ***************************** A Map of the Region
