(This chapter has just a little bit of angst)
3rd person
Tobi sighed and looked up at Itachi.
"Why do you keep calling me that?" he asked. Itachi frowned.
"You... haven't remembered?" he asked, looking confused.
"Look, what are you talking about? I have no clue what you mean," Tobi replied. Deidara glared at Itachi.
"Hey, didn't I tell you already? Stop bothering us," he said, and Itachi glared back.
"I need to talk with Obito, so can you leave?"
"Okay, his name is Tobi, first of all," he started.
"No, he's Obito," Itachi replied.
"And how do you know?" Deidara asked, raising his eyebrow. Itachi hesitated.
"Because I'm-"
"Itachi!" a voice suddenly said, and then Rin was holding his arm and frowning. "You shouldn't get into fights." Itachi sighed and poked her forehead. (sorry this is cringy but held a gun to my head -_-)
"Sorry, but I need to have a conversation with... Tobi," he said, shaking free from Rin's grasp and pulling Tobi's arm to an empty bedroom.
"What are you doing?" Tobi asked, annoyed. Itachi turned to him with a dark look.
"You can drop the act," he told him. "Obito."
Tobi sighed in his regular voice.
"How did you know?" he asked.
"My name is Itachi Uchiha," he said.
–
(Tobi's P.O.V)
My eyes widened at the sound of his name.
"I-Itachi... Uchiha?" I asked. He nodded. Uchiha... But, my clan was murdered, wasn't it? I looked at him. "H-How...?" my voice trailed off and he sat down on the bed.
"I should explain. First of all, you at least know that your name is not Tobi, right?" he asked. I nodded.
"Yes, I know it's something else... but I'm not sure," I replied.
"Good. Your name is Obito Uchiha," he said. I looked at him.
"Obito?" I said, unsure. That name just didn't... sound right. Itachi nodded.
"Yes. You should also know, that both of us are the last remaining members of the Uchiha clan," he said. I nodded.
"Yeah, my family was killed, but how did you survive?" I asked, really shocked. How could Itachi be an Uchiha?
Well, it was true that I thought he was familiar, and he did trigger a memory the first time we met. Oh, that was him in the memory, wasn't it? I'm pretty sure it was. But, it just didn't make sense...
"You really don't remember?" Itachi asked.
"Remember what?" I asked suspiciously.
"Okay... Do you remember your family members?" he asked. I nodded.
"It was me and my parents. The rest of the clan lived nearby as well," I said. Itachi nodded.
"Yes, you lived with your parents. But you also live with your sister," he said. My eyes widened.

"Sister?" I asked. I didn't have a sister... did I? Itachi nodded.
"Your sister is the main reason your clan was murdered."
"What do you mean? I didn't have a sister," I told him. He shook his head.
"But you did. You loved her more than anything, and that caused the death of your clan," he said.
"Is this some sort of prank?" I asked, throwing my mask off. "Please, stop messing with me, Itachi!" I said.
"It's not a prank. I have proof," he said, suddenly reaching into his robe and pulling out a stack of pictures. "This is your family." He handed me one of the pictures, and there I was with my mother and father, who looked the same as always. But the little girl clinging to my leg caught my eye. Her eyes were closed in a smile, and her hair was dark and the same color of the regular Uchiha hair. She looked... really happy.
And then in my mind there was a flash of light.
--
"Stop it Obito!" a little girl screeched, giggling and rolling around as I tickled her.
"Aw, but I want to play with my little sister," I said, and continued tickling her. A tear dropped down her cheek as she continued laughing. We were in my house, and I was playing with that little girl on the floor.
"Stop it! You're making me cry!" she exclaimed, trying to get my hands to move.
"But you're so adorable when you laugh, Narumi!" I said.
"Okay, I'll laugh for you, but you have to stop tickling me!" she said. I grinned and stopped tickling her. She smiled back at me and then sat up, wiping at her eyes.
"Obito, Narumi, the food is ready," Dad called, walking over from the kitchen and into the living room where we were.
"Are we going to be able to eat with Mommy today?" Narumi asked, her eyes hopeful. Dad laughed.
"Mommy has lots of work, but she's going to make it tonight. She's on her way home, so why don't we hurry and begin to set the table?" he asked. Narumi cheered and stood up from the floor, taking Dad's hand as they walked into the dining room.
--
My eyes widened. A memory? At this time? And that little girl, her name was Narumi? I looked down at the picture again, and sure enough the girl in the picture was the same as the girl in my memory. I looked up at Itachi.
"Itachi, you..." he looked at me.
"You remembered her just now, didn't you? Well, that's the picture's purpose. To trigger your memories," he said. He handed me another one. I paused before looking down at it. It looked like it was taken in secret; Dad was there, looking grim, and I was there, too, crying. We were standing in front of a grave stone.

There was another flash.
--
It was raining outside, and I was in a hospital room. Dad was yelling at a doctor and he held a phone up to his ear. I was crying besides the hospital bed.
"No, you can't just give up on her! Don't stop, keep trying! Please, don't give up!" he sobbed out, and then he turned around. "Please answer," he mumbled into the phone sadly. After a few seconds he threw the phone onto the floor.
"Sir, please come down..!" the doctor tried, and then father was on his knees, laying his head on the hospital bed.
"God dammit, why aren't you here when we need you the most?!" he yelled, and I finally looked at the hospital bed. And there was Narumi, her limp body pale and all of a sudden the machine hooked to her let out a long beep.
--
I looked around the room as tears fell from my eye.
"S-She died?" I asked as more tears fell from my eyes. He nodded.
"Her heart was always fragile, and you knew that. That's why you spent so much time with her. You knew she didn't have long, but you overestimated that time. It was sooner than you thought, and it was unexpected. So, that's how she died." Itachi reached for the last picture. "And this is how your clan died." He handed me the picture.
It was me, with my mask on, and I was really bloody. Itachi was there, too.
And there was one last flash.
--
I was with my mother, in the kitchen of our home, and she looked stern as I yelled at her.
"Why weren't you there?!" I asked. "She died, and you... You weren't even there!" I yelled, and she immediately spoke.
"We all knew there wasn't much time. I couldn't be bothered. Now, please, Obito, stop your yelling-"
"Why were you so mean to her? You ignored her, you didn't notice her, and now she's dead. You knew this was coming, so why... Why didn't you spend every moment that you could with her? Dad sacrificed his job as an anbu, and I sacrificed school... Why couldn't you just be there for her?!"
"Obito. She was going to die. Unlike you two, I have a goal, and I can't believe your father threw his away for the sake of a mere child. There was no point in even trying to love her. After all, my heart was just going to get broken, wasn't it? She was just going to die on us," she said. I stared at her, anger filling up my entire body.
"'She was just going to die on us'... She did. She died on us, and that's why we're so hurt... Because we cared about her. Granted, you'll never feel the pain of losing a loved one like me and Dad did. But, you'll also never feel the joy of having someone you love by your side," I spat out, turning around.
"And just what do you know?!" she yelled. "You're just a naive child. You don't know anything about me!" she screamed. I turned back around to look at her.
"I know enough. You're a heartless beast," I said.
"You don't know why I make my decisions... And you don't know what I've been through... So don't criticize me like I've done everything wrong! Don't yell at me, saying that I don't know what it feels like... It's because I know... I know... And I never wanted to feel that again..." I stared at her in shock, but then I frowned again.
"So then you know how it feels to love someone. Good job. But, honestly, if you didn't want to feel that again either, then you didn't value it," I said. She sighed.
"Maybe... You're right about that. I don't plan on dying... I want to continue living on even after all of you die. That's my goal. So there's no point in getting close to any of you," she replied. My eyes widened, not in surprise, but in anger. She smirked and I felt my body tremble with rage.
"You're.... You're sick!" I yelled, as I through kicks and punches at her. She fell to the floor on her knees as I continued. What was I doing? Why was I doing this?
A few tiring minutes passed and I looked down at my almost dead mother. All I felt was anger and hatred, so before I gave her the final hit that would end her life, I took a last look at her. Everything was bleeding and swollen, bruised and blackened. I heard her struggling for air. I raised my fist and began to bring it down. And suddenly, a tear slipped from her eye and her breath hitched. My eyes widened.
"I'm not heartless. It took so much work, so much effort to try and not get to close Narumi, to all of you... And yet, all that effort was useless... I still ended up..." her voice trailed off and sobs took over. Tears spilled from her eyes like waves and I felt my heart swell. But it was too late, as my hand swung down and landed before I could stop it.
--
I... I killed my mom...
I expected that to be it for the memory, but after I had finished with her I left the house.
My eyes widened, my heart beat sped up by a million, and I gasped.
I watched in deadly horror as I killed the rest of my clan with my new Sharingan and Rinnegan.
