She immediately stood up quickly, breathing slowly. The 6'1 ft man aiming to punch, who she just grabbed the fist easily. With an emotionless gaze, she punched his face. Sending him a few feet behind to crash the wall with a thud.
The man thrice her age slowly stood up. Crimson blood fell down from his forehead as his mouth curled into a scowl. With a battle cry, the man pulled a kunai and charged more aggressively.
She grabbed her own kunai and the slashing sounds between kunai echoed through the room. The girl bent backward, staring at the tip of the kunai in front of her glasses. Quickly she twisted, kicked him in the head, making the man stumbled forward and crashed down. She immediately put her knees on his back with a knife near his neck.
She stood, placing the kunai back in her pouch. Then bandaging her fingers, as she walked to the corner of the room and picked out a red paper fan.

Hi all, this is my first attempt at fiction ever. I'm sure it's awful, first attempts at new things usually are. Hopefully you can find something you like in it. I had a great deal of fun writing it. It's a basic Litrpg/Game, God sends you to a new world to do their bidding plot. I Know I did too much telling and not enough showing. I'm working on that. The underlying system is one haven't seen or done much. a full Point Buy system, like Gurps, Champions or the Hero system. After writing it a while, I see why folks don't do it. The record keeping is tedious. And once you start doing math in subsequent chapters, you can't go back and add more action, just because you dread redoing all the math. I've got about 80k words written in two "books" on the novel so far. I'm going to edit chapters and try to drop a couple a week till it's finished. Hopefully that will work for folks.
