Several Pains appear once more, ready to attack the Shinozaki. The girl was back on the ground, but this time, she was different. The scales around her body are more and her hair is jet black, levitating like it's alive. Hanako easily gathered water from the clouds above her and attacks her opponents at once.

They're getting weak, once I take out three of them, they can't go back to life.

"It's nothing personal.", Hanako says with a smirk, "Well actually," she bends the water that is wrapped like a dome around her along with chakra to hold its shape, "it is.", she releases the water, taking out one of the Pain.

"You will know pain.", Pain says.

"Oh, you don't know how long we've been together.", Hanako says as she grabs her katana and swings it above her head and as she raises the katana, pointing up to the sky, lightning strikes. It embraced the steel, charging it with deadly electricity, but exhilarating to Hanako.

"Rakurai!", she strikes her the opponent closest to her, making the body drop dead. She smiles but suddenly, an invisible force pulls her up once more, causing her to drop the weapon that harnessed the lightning.

"Focus!", the old man says, "You must not let your guard down."

"I'm sorry Otto-san.", Hanako apologizes before attacking her father once more.

"Focus on you chakra points. Feel it flow in your veins slowly filling you arms and legs!", her father shouts as Hanako does as she was told, she felt the power. She hesitates to land a punch to her father's body before feeling her body slam on the ground.

"Ack!"

"The enemy does not hesitate! You failed to acknowledge that so you will meet your death!"

"I'm trying!", Hanako shouts with anger, feeling the energy out of her body beam out, causing her father to cover himself but to no avail. The man hisses in pain.

"Hiroshi!", her mother shouts with concern as she runs to her husband.

"It's alright, I'm alright.", her father says.

"Oh no.", the woman says as she sees the sight of her young daughter unconscious.

"No worries, she's breathing."

"But she's in a coma! Again, Hiroshi.", her mother frowns.

"You have to understand that our bodies cannot handle that much power, she needs to train in order to use it as much as she can before passing out like this.", Hiroshi explains.

"She's our daughter! She's just a child!"

"She's a child with a responsibility!"

"You want her to be exposed to those wars that you handle by yourself?!"

"She has no choice! We have no choice! We're cursed with this because of our ancestors, you know that!"

She nods silently while sobbing and holding her daughter's body.

Hanako panics, not wanting to pass out from a fall, she quickly focuses chakra on her hands and feet.

Hanako lets out a battle cry before reaching out to the sky once more. This time, there wasn't a steel to lead the lightning. She wraps her arms with water as lightning strikes at her demand, she hisses in pain and closes her eyes to breathe.

"Breathe, fill your lungs with air."

After seconds that felt like an hour, Hanako opens her eyes, feeling different, like her body was recharged.

"Almighty Push!"

Before the force brings her back to the ground, the chakra on her feet carries her for a split second. Hanako uses this as an advantage to flip and land on the ground with ease. A bright blue light followed her movements like it was smoke coming out of her feet.

She notices lighting was going around her eyeballs, causing her to look at her body that was electrified as well.

"What is that?", Sakura asks, frightened by the beams and lightnings that are taking place.

"It's almost like there's a creature above the person, look at the clouds!", Sakura points.

"That's what the power of the heir looks like.", Tsunade says.

"That's Hanako?!"

Tsunade nods, "I've only read it in books that seemed like an urban legend. I can't believe it's real. No wonder why the Shinozaki clan is always for hunting."

"That kind of power is indeed amazing, a dragon's power, but it cones with a price.", Tsunade explains.

"A price?"

"Astonishing, that power is.", Pain says with the same poker face that he holds, "How unfortunate it is to disappear."

Hanako rolls her eyes on him before extending her arms and hitting another body of Pain.

"Kogeki!", the opponent was strong, Hanako immediately reaches out for her katana, "C'mon!", it attaches to her hand, she runs to the last replica of Pain and stabs it with full force.

Her body stopped in movement, a pang felt throughout the body of the girl, causing a whimper out of her mouth.

I'm at my limit.

She pulls her katana out, but before she could, she feels liquid on her cloth. She looks down at her body and sees the same metal rod pierced too close at her heart, too close.

"Hanako!", Naruto shouts.

The girl looks at him with tears in her eyes.

I messed up.

"Gomen.", she says as blood come out her her mouth, her body falls to the ground as lightning was released off of her body one last time, it reached until what used to be the gates of Konoha, shocking everyone that was in the area.

Hanako makes a final eye contact with the blonde boy that she was crying for, muttering the words to him, "I'm happy.", with a smile.

Her breathing became harder and faster. Her body throbbed in pain mixed with the exhaustation.

Naruto sees Hanako's chest slowing down, avoiding to look at how much blood was spilled out of her body.

"No! Hanako! Get up!", Naruto sobs out as memories start flashing on her mind.

"Come back strong, alright?"

Hanako's voice echoed in his mind, the thoughts of her and the fear of forgetting how her voice, her touch, and her face continues to consume him.

The boy's tears fell uncontrollably, feeling a heavy weight pressed on his body. It's like the motivation and energy that he has earlier has diminished.

"Do you hate me?", Pain suddenly asks the boy, the question ringed into Naruto's head, he looks at Pain, unable to attack him because of the rods, he lets out a scream.

"Die you bastard!"

Sakura falls to the ground when the electricity was released. She quickly ran to her master's side.

"What happened to Hanako?", she asks, worriedly.

"She's dead.", the Hyuga states sadly.

Tsunade looks down in sorrow, feeling guilt and sadness.

"No! She can't be dead!", Sakura shouts as tears dall down her cheeks.

"You're mistaken!", she says to the Hyuga before attempting to run to the battlefield. She spots a red figure that was shaping into tails.

It can't be.

She hears a roar that confirmed her thoughts.
