as i woke up my small ragtag group i reequipped my anbu gear keeping my anbu katana in its sheath i added everyones gravity i had taken the day before back on.
soon we were all walking down the desolate unused path, haku was rubbing his eyes and yawning quietly as he slowly woke up fully.
i was carrying the camp supplies in a scroll placed in my pocket. within ten minutes we came across a large entrance made of white iron and a bald man standing tall in a robe ushered us in quietly.
for the next days we trained, my mindscape was easy to enter and when everyone else was training i filled my mindscape with toys, huge blocks small blocks and we played hide and go seek for hours as we meditated.
it wasn't very nice i admit but you know... i do get bored
during a prayer day as my two team mates were practicing meditating i explored and came across a small cave where i could hear the sounds of wind training coming from and with a quick check on chakra both me and kurama froze, whoever was in that cave had rama senseis chakra.
we crept in using shadow step and i walked up the side of the wall using swapping jutsu to swap my white anbu vest with my navy hoodie from an old friend.
i watched as the boy who seemed around three years older than myself attempted to infuse ridiculous amounts of wind chakra into his fist and failed.
with a scowl i dropped from the roof infront of him and punched him in the face hard enough that he lost consciousness.
when he came too i had him cuffed in chakra restraining hadcuffs, he scowled at me and attempted to lunge at me the anger and sadness was clear to me now the boy was the same as gaara, ignored and feared wherever he went.

after he calmed down i summoned kurama and watched as the boy slowly calmed his face looking peaceful it was clear that the other kurama was not trying to escape the boy at the moment.
we conversed with each other as i worked on a seal on sealing paper, "i'm Sora by the way" the boy said i looked up at him as he watched me cautiously "i'm naru this is kurama" i said gesturing to rama who was sitting next to me.
soon i was finished the seal the same one from so long ago when sasuke fell into the pond and i was busy making it.
with a deep breath i lifted up the boys shirt ignoring his betrayed shouts and broke the current seal, a tear slid down my face as he screamed in pain like i was torturing him, within seconds i had the other seal placed where the old one used to be and i activated it.
his screams died down and he slumped forward in exhaustion. i carried him piggy back style and brought him to zabuza and haku.
after asking haku nicely he agreed to push the pressure points that sped up healing and lessened exhaustion. i carried sora to my room and laid him onto my bed.
that night as he was still sleeping i opened my window sitting with my legs dangling out i leaned on my katana and kept watch marvelling at the stars.
when sora next woke up he was angry oh how he was angry, his killing intent was leaking making sure no monks came near my sleeping quarters and his face was red in anger.
i sighed this kid was seriously screwed up in the trust department but i liked him and keeping my face calm i expertly ignored every insult he sent my way and when he was done i kindly asked him if he would like to go train with me.

surprisingly he said yes.
as i met up with zabuza and haku i gave haku an idea for his ice mirror jutsu suggesting he add ice to the floor so that the captives would have a harder time dodging.
we continued past him and i fought him in an epic wind match in the end he lost and i knew where he needed to improve.
this afternoon we were leaving zabuza had learned meditation and haku was almost a master at it, so i sped off after training to talk to the elder monk called able.
able was sitting in his office expecting me like he had every time i came to see him, and again he knew exactly what i was going to ask.
he told me straight "if you think you can handle the boy take him, his presence here will only cause him to suffer and turn him from the correct path, we made a mistake forcing a child to contain the extra chakra we had collected from the nine tailed fox before he was sealed"
" we only ask that you treat him no different than you would others" i agreed quickly and soon sora was packed ready to join my team in the village hidden in the leaves.
he was feisty but it was clear he trusted me more than he trusted the monks he had lived with for near his whole life.
