zabuza pov
with unparalleled caution we entered the leafs anbu headquarters decked out in our new anbu gear, this danzo must be quite the asshole to have naru this on edge he wasn't even on edge when he ran into the akatsuki.
the man was old really old and the majority of his body was covered in bandages he also had a walking stick.
with a frown i kneeled behind my anbu captain and danzo who by no means had earned my respect.
with a cruel smile i was led into a room with danzo first leaving the others behind waiting.
i was instructed to pledge my allegiance to danzo and once i had said it he ordered me to stick my tongue out.
doing so completely baffled i watched as he wrote a seal onto my tounge right where the seal thing from naru was.
once done he cruely led me back to the others before taking haku in next.
once we were done he dismissed us and sent naru to train us which he did so by ordering us straight off the bat to remove our shirts.
knowing naru there was a reason but seriously? complying both me and haku were shirtless sitting on the floor as naru drew seals across our backs
as soon as he was finished he asked us to pump chakra into our bodies and as we did so everything got heavier, not just weight heavy..... face on the floor heavy.
he smiled sheepishly his brown eyes gaining back a bit of their old colour.
over the next few days training soon became hell for both me and haku i was barely holding on and if it wasn't for the fact that i couldn't stand quitting i would have been long gone.
I could see the other training anbu shiver when naru walked by, it was clear that his level of training was not standard in kohonagakure.

haku and i could go through the hellish strength, the chakra stain and even the finer techniques like senbon, tactics and sword fighting but when it came to mind training it became apparent that we were not improving.
naru pov
the next few days i trained my new members to the ground attempting to bring their level up to my standards
we trained in strength, kunai accuracy, shuriken, tactics, sword fighting, senbon, chakra where i found out unsurprised that zabuza had water affinity and haku had both water and air, and we also meditated to calm their minds so that i could link my mind shadow onto their emotions so when they are in danger it would take less chakra to find them.
for some reason however zabuza had a hard time calming his mind and as he fidgeted haku couldn't relax enough... after a week of training it was decided that i would ask the hokage to go see the monks after all they were masters at calming the mind.
with a sigh i left straight for the hokages office and got permission from him no questions asked.
the next morning at 4 am i woke them both from their apartments and dragged them to the gates adding a few pounds to the gravity seals to get them going.
we traveled for a while killing bandits and covering our tracks as standard for anbu and within the next hours we reached the bottom of the mountain where the fire temple was hidden.
from then on the anger we have inside would get higher and higher until we reached the temple gates and if we said one word before hand we would not be able to find the temple again.
turning to the others i backtracked us out of range and told them the details of the following trial.

with a nod we all started climbing, i knew out of all of us it would be zabuza who had trouble keeping from having an outburst.
it was clear by the third hour that zabuza was having trouble his face red and his teeth clenched. i was also extremely irritable but we all knew we had to do this.
by the fourth hour zabuza had taken to hitting things with his sword in order to keep from speaking out.
as a group we made it to the gates just in time to see zabuza opening his mouth to shout and suddenly as the anger washed away a simple we're here was said.
i smiled knowingly behind my mask and took it off along with the others we opened the gate to the next trial, this trial was to test our perseverance where we would have to walk only on our hands up the hill using no chakra.
we all stopped before entering and made camp for the night tomorrow we would tackle this one.
in the morning we packed up ate and i kindly i might add removed half of everyones gravity seals except mine where i left most of it on.
we all flipped upside down and began walking and soon discovered that this was not only a test of strength but also a test of balance if we let our legs too far back we would topple and fall off the steep incline we were walking up.
it took us most of the day to see the top and by midnight we had finally reached the next set of gates where we once again set up camp and slept for the night.
in the morning we were all groaning at the pain in our arms and the headaches we gained from the blood being pumped into our heads all day.
the next trial involved the top of the volcano it was covered in fine spidery silk and if you didn't channel your chakra just enough then the silk would split sending you to your death in a pit of lava. this was the final test before we reached the path to the temple
haku i knew would have little to no trouble with this trial, zabuza would find it hard and it is highly likely i will not be able to make it with the high levels of chakra i have.
in order to give myself a hand i cut off my access to the foxes chakra and sent as much of my own chakra out into the air so that my own reserves would be easier to control.
and we began the heat from the volcano had us sweating in the first twenty mins and the precise application of chakra meant we spent at least a minute before putting a foot in front of the other.
it was gruelling and by mid day we were only half way done haku could have gone ahead but he stayed near us incase he was needed.
zabuza i could see was just as bad off as me and if i learned anything from this it would be that when we got back to the village we would be doing some chakra control excersises to get back up to my standards.
when we finally reached the other side of the volcano we travelled down the small path and made camp in a small grove of trees.
The next morning we would enter the temple and ask the monks for help.
