using my naru persona was customary for anywhere except being alone at the orphanage or with shisui and itachi.

it saved me a whole bunch of trouble too such as buying certain overpriced foods and clothes.

once i'd had a good nights sleep, i'd woken and poofed rama sensei out so she could go hunting or something and have the day off.

today was one of my only days off and i planned to deliver the childrens new schedule which lasted for the next 6 years at the orphanage and then i was going to have a day with itachi and shisui doing a simple and extremely fun mission.

me and shisui called it cat nabbing but itachi thought it was immature.

heading over to the orphanage i saw the two babies i took care of before i joined the academy each were running around now and building towers with the blocks.

i smiled and carried the scroll in my naru disguise before poofing back into myself once i was safely inside the orphanage.

the place was a mess kids were screaming and running around playing tag over all of the sofas and couches, i winced they'd all be aimed at me soon.

smiling i went searching for queeni who could take the scroll and explain to me whats going on.

i took one step into the room before feeling three leaf ninja presences clearly genin and a team leader. i grinned and changed back into my naru personality.

following the presence i was met with three 11-12 year olds trying to get team one under control, them controlling chakra didn't help.

standing infront of them silently i looked around for the jonin and noticed him eyeing the children with curiosity and sitting on the rafters holding onto the current leader of group one, Kai, whom was the group i was teaching jutsu and chakra to.

he was 12 with spiky black hair with a blue hue and bright blue eyes sparked with anger.

i could practically hear him through his eyes alone " i'm the leader damnit" as he struggled in the jonins hold.

i saw the amusement of the jonin as he watched his genin students struggle and fail.

i stepped forward,

instantly every child in the room turned around and saw my guise as they called it and ran at me full pelt determined to be the first to get a hug.

my eyes smiled happily as i stood my ground hugging at least 12 children of various ages.

all except kai, who was still being held by the jonin who of which had placed a kunai at my back his green eyes narrowed at me.

"who are you! what are you doing here! i wouldn't touch these children if you knew what was good for you."

i grinned and spoke again

i watched satisfied as every kid gained a look of anger and jumped from me right at the jonin whose face had gone decidly pale.

i smiled and grabbed kai from his hold and made a wind chakra platform to stick him on way above the chaos going on at ground level.

picking each kid up and giving them a kiss on the forehead one by one i had finally got all the children sitting on the wind barrier.

and i could finally see the extent of the damage done to the jonin.

turning around i went to the sink and took out the medical kit and placed it on the ground.

i splinted his arm which had gotten broken by one of the older 14 year old children in group1. did i mention that group 1 was the heavy lifters with chakra?

probably not the best group to try and control by force.

pulling his shirt up i rubbed bruise balm on his chest which had gone black and purple before using medical jutsu to heal the injuries better.

he glared at the children before turning to me his three genin still in shock frozen in the middle of the room.

i ignored him though and turned to group one on the wind barrier platform.

gently lowering the barrier to the floor i could see a lot of the children giving the sensei the stink eye.

" i got a few ashamed foot shuffles for that one and i could see kai understood that but didn't like it.

instantly every kid was lined up from youngest to oldest i grinned glad i'd put my anbu gear away before coming here, this would confuse the jonin to no extent.

walking up to kai i gave him a hug

he gave me a happy and proud smile and told me that they'd completed everything on their training regimen from last time.

i smiled " i said

perfectly happy to ignore the fact that its supposed to take six years.

grinning i turned back around to face the jonin who stood defensively infront of his genin team.

"what?"

? i asked

"yeah he said it was a D rank and we were to go look after the children in the orphanage while the owner was away" the man replied

i grinned

they all gulped the genin had gone white.

smiling i yelled at the top of my lungs "

instantly the loud and constant screaming stopped and was replaced with a single cry of "NARU!!!!" and running feet could be heard from every direction.

i was barrelled over instantly but i was happily returning as many hugs as i could while group one joined in and gave me more hugs.

once we were all hugged out they all line up in there groups i smiled at emi and hotaru pleased to see his younger sister without injury for once.

giving them all a great smile i saw them whispering to each other and soon i realised what they were all whispering about when a few of group 4 started giving death glares to the ninja.

i gave them the disapproving stare as they called and and they all stopped.

i asked

Emi stepped out and spoke up, "naru?, queeni went out to the people she has to see every semester to tell them about how the orphanage is going, it normally takes all day."

i said

hai!.

once they'd all left to do their various duties i turned to group one

once they were all sufficiently guilty I sent them off to help each of the groups. turning to the ninja team i spoke

i just got a few fast nods from the genin and a flabbergasted WTF face from the sensei

heading into the lounge room i could see the sensei eyeing the roof and children with distrust, i can relate, how do kids under 5 manage to draw on the roof?

doesn't matter as long as he cleans the roof while i help cook pizza for the kids.

walking into the kitchen i could see some last minute clean up still occurring deciding to ignore it i went into the fridge and got all the ingredients out explaining how to make pizza while i made the salad.

once lunch was over i watched as the genin followed me like lost puppies as i put the little kids down for a nap and tucked all 12 in giving them goodnight kisses and telling them stories about a shisa and tachi, who took care of their adoptive brother nalo.

smiling i knew if they remembered it as they got older they'd realise i was talking about myself and my two team mates.

once they were asleep i went to the kitchen with my "tail" and made cups of hot cocoa for everyone.

sitting in the now clean lounge room i had group three help me hand out all the cocoa one for our babysitters as well.

after they'd all been debreifed i heard queeni coming and stood up ready to leave.

all the kids groaning as i started giving them hugs one by one. once i got to the jonin i saw him sweating bullets i smirked, at least he knew to be worried about these kids now.

as there was a knock on the door i gestured for the sensei to answer it which he did.

" hi! were the kids good? wow i don't hear any screaming! did they actually listen to you?" the female voice of queeni was heard.

i could hear the relief in the jonins voice as he answered all her questions.

"no the kids were a right terror they only stopped when some kid with caramel hair and honey coloured eyes came in and suddenly they were angels." he said confused

then i could hear the excitement in queens voice as she yelled out to me " Naru!!! your home wheres my hug" i walked around the corner giving her a hug glad to have SOMEONE who cared about me.

once i let go she nudged me with the shadow talk i taught her. opening my mind i heard her asking how my mission went.

after answering all her questions in the same manner i said goodbye and went off to find itachi and meet up with shiusi
