"Thank you again for coming, it was such a pleasure to meet you,"
"Not at all, the pleasure is ours, thank you for having us. I'm glad my son has found someone to be happy with."
Kazane straightened from her bowed position, raising her gaze to meet Sakura's. She and Sarada had spent the night with Kazane and Ukai in Ukai's new home, getting to know Kazane and catching up with Ukai.
"Feel free to come by our home whenever you feel like it, Sarada and I would be happy to have you," Sakura offered, smiling at the younger woman before down at her daughter.
"Mm-hmm," Sarada nodded in agreement.
"Hmm," Ukai hummed happily, placing his hand on Sarada's head and softly ruffling her hair.
"Thanks, Mom," Ukai smiled at his family, pulling his hand back and standing straight.
"Bye now," Sakura waved as she and Sarada turned to leave.
"Bye big Brother! Bye Kazane!" Sarada called waving.
Kazane and Ukai waved back before Kazane stepped forward and wrapped her arms around Ukai's right arm, resting her head on his shoulder as they watched the Uchihas leave.
"Soo? What do you think of my family?" Kazane's attention was pulled to Ukai as he asked his question.
"They're great! I was so nervous to meet your mother thought, I thought I'd slip and drop the dumplings." Kazane beamed, smiling up at Ukai with a nervous chuckle.
"Hm-hm, don't worry, Mother was on my tail about meeting you all day every day, I knew there was no way she wouldn't love you," Ukai teased, giving his lover a quick kiss.
Kazane chuckled against the kiss, the vibration tickling both hers and Ukai's lips.
"Now the only one left is your Dad,"
"Hmmmmm, yeah... that's gonna be interesting." Ukai sighed, pulling back.
"I'm sure, it will be fine. But hey, I'm gonna head home ok, I'll see you Thursday yeah?" Kazane pulled out of her boyfriend's arms, taking his hands and smiling.
"Yeah, get home safely ok."
"I will," Kazane nodded, standing on her tippy toes to give Ukai another quick kiss.
"Bye," She smiled, turning and heading down the Uchiha's driveway.
"Bye," Ukai called after her, watching her walk away before heading back inside.

Over the next two days, Ukai walked around town, checking out certain stalls and shops, looking for things to add to the house that Kazane liked, things to make it more of a home for her as well, seeing as she's been spending more and more time with him than at her own home. Tomorrow was her father's birthday, and the reason she wasn't with him currently was she had to help her mother prepare.
"Ukai!"
Said male turned away from the flower stall he was standing before, to raise his gaze and see a short brunette woman walking toward him.
"Minka, hi," Ukai turned to his old teammate.
"Hey," Minka smiled, hugging Ukai abruptly.
Ukai flinched in surprise, breathing a light chuckle before hugging the smaller woman back.
"I've been looking all over for you," Minka spoke as she pulled away, looking down at the bag in her hands and beginning to rummage through it.
"I got it," She smiled, nibbling her bottom lip before pulling a small red bag into view, holding it up to the Uchiha with a pleased look on her face.
"..." Ukai stared at the bag as Minka lowered it into his hands.
"And not a moment too soon... She gets back tomorrow doesn't she?" Minka asked.
"The day after actually, but getting this today helps... Now I don't have to worry about it tomorrow." Ukai scoffed a laugh, smiling at the little bag.
"Oooooooooh I'm so happy for you!" Minka cheered, shaking in excitement.
"When you're done you must come and tell me and Yuto all about it!"
"Ha... I will. Thank you so much for this Minka... I really hope this goes well," Ukai cast his eyes down and took a shaky breath.
"Don't worry! I'm sure she'll love it," Minka smirked, pulling Ukai's shoulder down to kiss his cheek.
"Hey, I've got to run, but relax ok! Your nerves always were your weakness!" Minka called as she rushed away.
"Wha~ That's bull!" Ukai called after her but laughed, picking up his groceries and heading home.
Walking along the darkening roads, Ukai turned the corner before a rushing weight slammed into him, ricocheting off his chest, and falling back.
"Ouch!"
"Careful, don't just run around corners look where you're going..." Ukai lectured the child sitting in the dirt at his feet.

"I'm sorry you know,"
Boruto Uzumaki slowly rose to his feet, dusting off his clothing.
"Oh... Young Lord," Ukai chirped, peering down at the younger male.
"Ukai? Hey! I need a favor!" Boruto exclaimed, looking fiercely at Ukai.
"A favor? From me?" Ukai questioned, confused as the what the young Uzumaki was so determined about.
"You can do the Rasengan, can't you? With your Sharingan, you're bound to be amazing at it! I need you to teach it to me!" Boruto spoke quickly, bringing his balled fist up in front of him to emphasize his urgency.
"The Rasengan? What on earth do you need to know that for?" Ukai questioned, looking into Boruto's shimmering blue eyes.
"I just do! And I need to learn now so will you help me or not!?" Boruto yelled.
"Woah ok easy there buddy, sorry but my fighting style is based more on the Chidori, I haven't learned the Rasengan," Ukai answered, explaining to the young Ninja why he couldn't help.
"Damnit!" Boruto clicked his tongue, running past Ukai and continuing on his way.
"Haaa, what a weird kid," Ukai hummed before continuing his walk home.
The next morning, Ukai stood in the living room fiddling with a light purple vase with white flowers. He knelt before the table, constantly readjusting the vase so it sat dead center and perfectly, muttering when it wasn't and readjusting it again.
"There," Ukai stood, pleased with his work.
There was now definitely the presence of a woman's touch in the young Uchiha's house, many things he himself, would never buy -but Kazane would- littered the house to make it feel brighter and more welcoming.
*Knock Knock*
Ukai turned his head to the hallway as the sound of a knock on the front door echoed through it. The young male sighed to himself before heading over to see who it was. Kazane wouldn't knock, but she wasn't due back till tomorrow. It could be Sarada, but she didn't have to knock either.
'Maybe it's Minka... Maybe she forgot to give me something when she saw me.' Ukai thought as he reached for the doorknob, pulling the sliding door open.
...
..
.
"Father..."
"Hello, Ukai... It's good to see you," Sasuke smiled slightly as he looked at his son.
"... uh, yeah you too... Do you wanna come in?" Ukai buffered slightly as he looked at his father, stepping out of the doorway to allow the elder male entrance.
Sasuke stepped in, changing his shoes out for the slippers Ukai had prepared before entering the main part of the house.
"Do you want anything? I was just going to make some tea," Ukai asked as he walked up behind his dad, leading the way to the dining room and kitchen.
"Yes, thank you,"
"No problem," Ukai waved off as they enter the dining room, Sasuke pausing at the door while Ukai continued into the kitchen.
"This is a beautiful house," The older male commented as he looked at his surroundings.
"It's a little old-fashioned... but what can I say, I'm a sucker for traditional..." Ukai chuckled as he prepared the tea.
"When did you move out?" Sasuke asked as he removed his cloak.
"A few months ago..."
Sasuke then turned his attention to the table against the wall next to him, looking over the few photo frames that sat upon it, seeing the faces of his wife, daughter, and some of Ukai's old teammates, Sasuke picked up the photo of Ukai and a purple-haired woman he didn't recognize. Sasuke noticed Ukai's smile and his arms around the woman's waist, a lightbulb going off in his head as he brought his eyes back up to his son.
"So... What bring you back to the village? Just checking in with Lord Naruto or do you get to stick around a while?" Ukai asked, walking over to the table and placing the tea down.
"Both. I gave my report in last night, and I'm staying in the village for the Chuunin exams." Sasuke answered, setting the frame down before noticing the small bag and mini wooden box set beside it.
Examining the box for a second, Sasuke's eyes widened slightly before a small smile crept onto his face.
"I'm sure Sarada was happy to hear that. She'll get to spend more time with you,"
Sasuke looked at his son, watching him set himself down at the table and sip his tea as they spoke.
"...Hmm, indeed."

Essence Eater (A Super Progression Fantasy)
Gods. Demons. Aliens. Superheroes. Supervillains.Consume them all for power. Eighty years have passed since WW2, when Prime took to the skies and ended the war. No one knows what gave him his power, or what birthed the wave of supers that came after. Some claimed the nuclear bombs dropped in Japan cracked the barrier between Universes, allowing alien energies to enter the dimension. Others believed the wars finally triggered what humanity needed to reach a new stage of evolution. Daniel Das lives with his uncle in post-super London, the League of Hero's primary hub. He's spent all of his twenty-one years pushing himself, training in martial arts and studying supers, hoping he'll awaken his metagene and gain super powers. The cut-off age is close, but he hasn't yet awakened superpowers. Meanwhile, the League is steadily losing parts of the city to the growing villain factions. Daniel's uncle wishes to keep him away from the world of supers, but with the hot zones closing in, that's easier said than done. There are villains selling unregulated superpowers to gangs and dark days are on the horizon. Despite his limitations, there is no stopping Daniel. He is ravenous for power. If needed, he will ally with demons if they give him the power to protect his family and home. -------------------------------- This world building is heavily inspired by Worm and The Boys. It features dark, realistic storylines, corporation-funded heroes, and villains who aren't necessarily bad guys. The protagonist's powerset involves the crowd-favourite consuming enemies for power trope, too. The GameLit/LitRPG elements are super light and takes a while to kick in. The powercreep is slow as well since I don't enjoy overpowered protagonists. Chapters everyday until book 1 is complete. The schedule will change once I reach that point.

Curiosity Killed The Imp
A/N: On hiatus (higher priority). The story is planned out but I need to do some rewriting for clarity and cohesiviness. Still very interested in the story though. Aeris is a place of endless conflict. Bloody evolution is the way forward, and the closed fist is the path given. Life is a luxury granted only to the strong. In a tiny corner, at the edge of a volcanic land, is born an imp. An imp no different from any other save one thing. An anomaly in its code. A blip in its creation. For unlike other imps, this one was born…curious. Book Cover by Betty Elgyn: https://www.deviantart.com/bettyelgyn

Soul Core Online
Soul Core Online was a game that few people were interested in until after it was released, due to its odd way of handling character growth but this soon changed as people started to realise just how different this game was. Unlike many of its predecessors the NPCs in Soul Core Online acted in a way that was indistinguishable from real people and the world felt alive because of this instead of the empty and sterile cities we had come to expect, even walking down the street could give you insights to how these people lived. In my case this was the world that I had always wanted to visit and I soon found myself embroiled in the constantly changing world that is Soul Core Online.
