'Quadrant one, nothing...'
'Quadrant two, nothing..'
'Quadrant anything, nothing!'
'Ugh! Come on! There has got to be something out here that will tell me where that bastard is hiding!' I hiss in thought jumping from tree to tree.
Ping
Woah, what was that?
I skid to a stop on the branch I had just leaped on and paused to look around as I sensed another presence.
'Someone isn't doing a very good job of concealing their chakra.' I close my eyes, activating my Sharingan and teleporting to the power source.
I reappeared on the roof of an old abandoned building. I had checked this quadrant multiple times, so I was confused to say the least when the chakra I sensed brought me here.
'This place hasn't been inhabited for years, why was someone here now?' I think to myself.
I watched a small girl with glasses enter the building slowly. I phased through the wall and down onto one of the pillars in the roof. I jumped silently from pillar to pillar before stopping, hearing the floor squeak, I watched carefully as a man stepped out of the shadows. He had medium-length coal hair, a black cloak, and a strong build. He approached the girl and I saw his eyes, Sharingan just like hers and mine. It then became known to me as to who this man was, I kicked myself for not recognizing him sooner, but who was the girl? And why was she here with him?
"Da~" The girl started but Father cut her off.
"I'm very impressed you found me!" He hissed.
"Are you one of them?" He pointed his sword at the young girl.
'Them?'
I leaned slightly forward on my perch, just enough to fully see what was going on but not enough to expose myself.
Father drove his sword into the pillar behind the young girl right next to her head, scaring the living hell out of her. He then began to reach out to her when she whispered something. Father halted his movements, pulling back and whispering something back to the small girl. She nodded, helping the tears on her face to flow. Father's Sharingan deactivated, followed by the small girls.

'What the hell is going on here?' I sigh, standing.
I was about to leave when the doors opened and two more people walked in.
"Oh hey, there you are," Lord Naruto!?
"Sarada, why did you run off so fast like that?" The second young girl asked walking in.
'SARADA!? WAIT! THAT LITTLE GIRL IS MY BRAT SISTER!?' I stepped back and pushed my back against another pillar.
'What is she doing here? What does she want with Father now?' I turn my attention back to the group.
"I came here!" Sarada started.
"I came here to see you Dad!" She added.
Father stared at her, watching as she continued.
"I found out Lord Seventh was meeting with you, so I followed him here. There's something I really wanted to ask you." She began.
"Well, what is it?" Father asked.
'Well well well, looks like someone has finally decided to listen to his child.' Hell did this piss me off.
"Ok, well... um~ I wanna know, is mom... my real mom?"
'WHAT KIND OF STUPID QUESTION IS THAT!?' I stare down at the brat.
"Answer me! Is she my real mom or not!?" And the brattiness continues.
"Did something happen?" Father asked.
"Did something happen!?" The brat mocked.
"YOU HAVE NEVER BEEN AROUND MY WHOLE LIFE. WHY WON'T YOU EVER STAY AND LIVE WITH MOM? DO YOU EVEN CARE THAT YOU'VE FORGOTTEN WHAT YOUR OWN DAUGHTER LOOKS LIKE!? AND WHO IS THIS WOMAN STANDING NEXT TO YOU WEARING THE SAME KIND OF GLASSES AS ME? DO YOU REALLY THINK THIS IS SOMETHING ANY DAUGHTER COULD ASK HER MOTHER ABOUT!?" Sarada exclaimed.
'Wow, Father looks absolutely defeated.' I sigh.
The brat blew up some more before storming out the door.
'Wow,' I jump up and phased out the building.
I sat on the roof and watched the brat sulk as she sat on a rock. I can't make a move on Father till hes alone. I rolled my eyes at Lord Naruto's failed attempt to comfort her before I felt something approaching and my Sharingan activated. I phased back into the building just as something appeared on the roof, transporting two people into the area. Father then jumped into the air to attack. I landed on the floor in the building, hearing a gasp before I saw the second young girl staring at me.

"Woah," She whispered before running up to me.
"You need to stay here, it's not safe for you out~ huh?" She grabbed my hand and put it on her forehead.
"Aww man, it felt so close." She sighed.
"Hey, get off." I shook my hand out of hers.
She looked up at me before looking out the door. She looked like she wanted to run out, but I pulled her back.
"Nah ah, hold on." I pulled her back, watching the outside fight.
I watched as the nine tails bubble that surrounded the three ninjas began to waver and 'Shin Uchiha' -the person I had been trying to hunt down for the past few months attacked Father. I growled, stepping forward before Shin was punched into the ground.
"Mom!?" Sarada called.
'Mom?' I looked out the door as Sakura walked toward the other three people.
'Mother,' I awed.
I hadn't seen her in years, she's as beautiful as ever and she's still so strong. I smiled but then noticed the little white creature behind Sarada.
"Sarada!" The young girl in front of me called out.
I watched as it activated a type of whirlwind that pulled the two Shin into it and was trying to suck in Sarada, but Mother jumped and pushed her out the way.
"No!" I cried jumping into action.
'You were safe in the village! Why did you come here!?' I ran as fast as I could to reach her.
My arrival had surprised everyone and they all watched as I grabbed one of Mother's hands and pushed my heels into the floor to anchor myself as I attempted to pull Mom out of the vortex. I groaned, pulling my sword from my waist and thrusting it into the ground to try and gain some sort of added strenght. I tried to pull Mother out of the vortex but my sword and hands were slipping.
"Mother..." I whispered at her and her eyes widened.
My grip failed and our hands parted, the force threw me back and sucked my mother away.
"No Mom!" Sarada yelled out.
"Grrr dammit!" I punched the floor and growled.
"Sarada get back!" I heard Lord Naruto call.
I stood slowly, pulling my sword from the ground as my hair hung over my face.
"Who are you?" I heard my Father point his sword at me.
I turned slowly, lifting my eyes to meet his. He held his glare and I put my hands up, sheathing my sword before looking into his eyes.
"We don't have time for this, we need to find her." I hiss, turning to face them and walking forward.
"I won't ask again, who are you?" Father copied my movements, placing his sword at my neck.
I paused. Looking sideways at the sharp object before back up at my Father.
"I don't blame you for not recognizing me, after all, a person can change a lot over the course of ten years." I look down my nose at them.
"How have you faired out here all on your own......... Father?" I ask.
His eye widened and he gasped quietly, nearly dropping his sword.

Malheur aux vaincus - Short stories
I am a reader, not a writer. But in the spirit of contributing to the trove of texts present here, I hope to share some short stories that I wrote: two in French in a Roman Fantasy setting ; and the rest in English: one inspired by manichean webnovels, another one... difficult to classify as a fiction, a little flight of fancy about the 'What if?' game, and last even two poems.
