《Hatake Pride》Part XV

~Kashin~
Iwabe started off the match, throwing shuriken at Boruto, but the young Uzumaki dodged pretty well, coming in to punch and kick at our Upperclassmen before being tossed aside.
'That's gotta hurt...' I tilt my head watching the two.
Boruto got back up eventually, pissing Iwabe off more by brushing off his attacks, saying they were nothing but startups. I was a little confused, Boruto's got speed, and spirit I'll give him that... but he's no match for this guy... he's getting his butt kicked. Boruto went offensive, throwing kunai at Iwabe before running behind the multiple stone towers to try and throw the older ninja off. It's a pretty good tactic... if you get the ambush right.
'I wonder how Boruto will choose to attack...' I place my left hand on my hip as I watch Iwabe expect Boruto to appear from behind one of the tall stone columns.
But when he didn't I blinked, seeing him appear from the block next to it, throwing shuriken at Iwabe before ducking under his attack and grabbing his arm, locking it behind his back.
"Hands off!" Iwabe grabbed Boruto and threw him aside again.
Boruto hit the floor, rolling before puffing into smoke as the clone jutsu dissipated.
'Hmm,' I breathe.
Boruto then called out to Iwabe, kicking him forward and repeating the former process, only instead of the clone jutsu, Iwabe had used substitution.
"Damnit..." I heard Boruto mumble.
"Uh, where..." Boruto asked himself as he walked back into one of the stone towers.
'This guy is obviously on a higher level than the rest of us... think smart Boruto... what would he know the rest of us still have to learn...' I narrow my eyes as I watch the young Uzumaki.
The wall behind Boruto suddenly began to peel back, and a smirking Iwabe could be seen.

"Uh, behind you!" The short boy with brown hair, 'Denki I think' called to Boruto.
Iwabe grabbed Boruto in a chokehold, squeezing every breath of air from his lungs before Boruto puffed away again.
'This boy really loves his Shadow clones.' I think, stepping forward and leaning my forearms on the gallery railing and crossing my legs.
The two complimented each other on the use of techniques they used to avoid the other before Boruto began to fight again. I blinked, activating my beast eye and looking over the two once again. Iwabe had a brownish-green Chakra system flowing at a clam pace around his body, Boruto, on the other hand, had a bright whiteish-blue chakra system, flowing at an accelerated rate, much to fast for the current situation. I blinked again, deactivating my eye before looking at Sarada who was nervously fidgeting with her hands.
"Does he do this often?" I ask the Uchiha.
"Uh? Oh, yeah, all the time," She looked at me.
"Does the class usually watch?" I ask.
"Most of the time it happens around all of us so we have no choice," She answered.
"In your opinion... what is his stamina level like?" I stand straight, focusing back on the fight.
"I'm not sure exactly but I'm sure if you gave him a good enough fight he could go for hours," Sarada told me.
I nodded, watching as Iwabe knocked all of Boruto's clones to the ground before lecturing him. He ranted on about the times we lived in, and how unfair it was that he had to learn about courses that have nothing to do with Ninjutsu or he can't pass. That in times of war power was the only thing that mattered, without strength you were not worthy.

I blinked, looking down at my hands that were gripping the gallery railing before thinking about the burns on my wrists and ankles, the lashes and scars on my body because I wasn't strong enough... I squeezed the railing tighter, taking a breath before watching Boruto attack Iwabe, yelling he wasn't riding on his dad's coattails.
Iwabe was now fuming, he growled, giving a very disturbing scream before jumping over Boruto and going for his staff. He screamed his ambition at the young Uzumaki before pulling his staff from the ground, pulling rock and rubble with it.
'Uh!? Earth Style... Boruto's no match for that yet!' I think pulling my hands from the railing and putting them together, at the ready in case I would need to jump in and help.
Iwabe lifted his staff, ready to launch an attack but a red, orange, and yellow bird swooped down, snatching the weapon from the ninja and laying toward its creator. Inojin watched Iwabe as he yelled at him, but Inojin just smiled and told Iwabe off, saying he said he wasn't going to use it so it wasn't fair he was going back on his word.
'The fight ended right then, Boruto had won, but only because Inojin made Iwabe feel bad about using his staff. I still don't understand why he wasn't allowed to, it's obvious his staff grants him Earth Style ninjutsu abilities, and this was a ninjutsu based fight... so...' I fold my arms.
"Well there you have it," Sarada said.
"He's quite the idiot... isn't he..." I say watching the Uzumaki.
"Yeah, you can say that again," Sarada sighed.
"What is going on here!?" Shino-sensei rushed into the hall.
"Boruto!" He exclaimed.
"And there is another suspension in the making." I roll my eyes.
We were all sent back to class after that, and I guess everything went back to normal... only Boruto was suddenly so much more popular. I was sitting in the back of the class watching everyone crowed him, asking whether or not he'd spend lunch with them. Children are so simple-minded... its sad. The three boys in front of me ran their mouths off at Boruto anyway, still saying how unfair it was that he was riding his father's coattails.
"You guys obviously weren't paying attention at all during that fight were you?" I snipped at them.
"Huh?" They turned to me.
"Kashin's right, Boruto wasn't just fighting for himself, he was doing it to help Denki, and I don't wanna sound like Boruot but... you guys, are totally uncool!" Inojin backed me up and smiled.
I looked back at the three boys with a small smirk before turning to look out the window.
