~Kashin~
~Thump thump, Thump thump~
~Thump thump, Thump thump~
~Thump thump, Thump thump~
It had been about a week and a half since the day the Academy started. I was supposed to attend the entrance ceremony that day by my nerves had gotten the better of me.
~Today's the day, the day I've been waiting for, for two years. The day I start at the Academy. Last night I was so excited, but now I have some doubts, what if I don't get along with any of the other children? What if some of them don't like me, and they pick on me? What if I change during training, and hurt someone? What if...
'Ahh,' I groan in discomfort as my back begins to bubble and move.
'Oh no,' I think putting my hand over the morphing skin.
I run to my desk and grab my mirror, bringing it up to my face, seeing my eyes slowly changing.
'No no no! Calm down calm down calm down!' I stumble back, holding my head.
"Kashin? Are you ready? It's almost time to go," Father knocked on my door.
'Time to go! But...' AHHHHHH
I fell to my hands and knees, gritting my teeth as my eye stung and my back split, my four tails bursting out and flaring to life. They knocked over quite a few things, causing a lot of noise before I finally had the strength to stand.
"Kashin?" Father knocked again.
I jumped away from the door, staying hidden behind it as my Father walked into the room.
"Kashin?" He looked around, looking over at the items scattered on the floor before looking behind the door.
I hissed and growled, jumping up and making my Father jump back. I swiped a clawed hand at him before turning and jumping out my open window, landing on one of the many roofs down below.

"Kashin!" Father called out to me.
I looked up, hissing, and growling before running off toward the forest.~
I had spent a week out there trying to calm myself down, and teach myself how to control my tails. It worked, I can now call on them and keep them in check. Unlike my other form, my tails and eye fall under my weaker state, allowing me to still remain in control while it's activated. Father kept me at home for a few more days after he had found me, told me that I needed to rest before going into training. I didn't argue, changing 20 times a day as you try to control yourself does take a lot out of the system. But today, I officially start at the Academy. I'll have a little catching up to do but that's no problem, plus, Father is no longer Hokage, so he offered to help in his free time. He is going away for a little while soon but anyway.
"Kashin?" Father knocked at my door.
"Yes?" I called.
"Are you ready?" He asked walking in.
"Almost, I just need to get this thing too..." I cut off as it try to tie the second strap on my arm guard.
"Here," Father chuckled, tying it for me.
"Thank you," I say before turning to look at my mirror.
"How are you feeling?" Father asked, placing his hands on my shoulders as he stood behind me.
"As good as I can be I guess," I sigh.
"Relax, take a breath, you are going to be fine," Father squeezed my shoulders.
"Yeah," I nodded, smiling up at him before looking back at myself in the mirror.
Father had offered to walk me to the Academy but I told him I'd be fine, that he should go do whatever he had to, that I would make it there ok.

'Ok, stay calm, don't draw attention to yourself and you'll be fine,' I think to myself.
I stood in front of the Academy gates, watching other students fall in. I gripped the strap if my bag before taking a deep breath, putting on a neutral face and walking inside. None of the other kids played much attention to me which I was grateful for, some of the girls would look my way then whisper and giggle behind their hands. I sighed, putting a hand over my heart to feel its rhythm before continuing on. I pulled the little piece of paper Father had given me out of my bag, looking down at the number and name on it before looking around.
"Um~ excuse me?" I heard a soft voice behind me.
I turned, looking down at the short brunette girl in front of me.
"Yes?" I asked.
Her eyes widened and her face tinted red, she quickly looked away from me before clasping her hand together behind her and fidgeting on her feet.
"Are you new here?" She asked, her face burning brighter.
"Yes," I answer lowering the hand that held the page to my side.
"Oh well, uh~ if you're lost... maybe I could help?" She looked up at me.
I stared at her, tilting my head as I focused on my hearing. Her heart was going a mile a minute and her breathing was slightly elevated. I internally sighed, closing my eyes before reopening them and looking down at the girl.
"Thank you, but I'll be fine, I've found where I need to be," I bow slightly before turning and walking away.
"Eh?" I heard her gasp before she sighed and walked away to wherever she had to be.
I looked around the halls a little more, counting the classes as I walked before I saw a tall male with a visor and red bug buttons on his shirt turn toward a door.
"Excuse me?" I called to him.
"Yes?" He paused, looking at me.
"Are you Shino-sensei?" I asked.
"I am, who are you?" He asked.
"My name is Kashin, I'm the new enrollee in your class," I handed him a note.
"Hmm, right, well, welcome." He handed the note back to me before entering the class.
"Eh!? Everybody stand!" A high yet shy voice sounded.
Shino-sensei walked into the class, greeting the other children before telling them to sit.
"Now, we have a new student joining us today, and I want all of you to welcome him with open arms," Sensei said, looking down at his clipboard.
"A new student? I wonder who it is? Do you think he's a transfer?" Questions bounced around the classroom.
'Breath, relax.' I swallowed.
"Please, come in," Shino-sensei called to me.
I stepped into the class, pausing by the door and looking at all the students out of the corner of my eyes. I exhaled, turning my eyes forward before walking up next to our sensei and facing the class.
"My name is Kashin Hatake, it is a pleasure to meet you all," I bow quickly, standing straight and looking over my peers.
