Luke's POV~~

I wrapped my arms around Damians neck as he tightly held my thighs. The small shocks of his touch comforted me as Damian began to walk into the labyrinth. Every now and then he would pause and sniff the air , trying to figure out which way to go. He's probably following Alexander's scent.

After a while of walking we finally got to the door, Damian slowly opened it, pausing to see if he could hear any movement from outside. He then crept out the room, praying we wouldn't step on a loose board or something. He moved carefully though the rooms, finally getting to a half opened window on the first floor. I quickly transformed into a cat, about to jump when Damian stopped me

"Let me go first, your weak and injured, let me catch you."

I nodded, Damian then slipped out the window, instead of jumping to him he carefully just picked me up instead. I couldn't help but purr a little as I thought about how thoughtful Damian was being of me, but that thoughtful moment was soon ruined as he set me down, transformed, and then picked me up in his mouth and began running. My head jerked up and down with every step, I couldn't help but be scared at every turn, what if he tries to "hold me" too hard and his teeth go though me? As he continued running, a body laid motionless on the ground near a bush.....completely nude.....that's where Damian got the clothes.... My thoughts were then interrupted by Damian suddenly stopping, he looked around cautiously. That's when a huge wolf slowly walked out from behind a tree about 30 feet ahead of us. My heart stopped, it's Alexander isnt it? Damian then began growling as he began turning, his eyes still pinned on Alexander. As soon as Damian turned his head, he bolted, Alexander did as well. He can't fight back because of me...I then began to thrash around his his mouth, trying my best to get him to drop me. If he drops me he could fight and we both could have a chance of getting away. I couldn't help but feel guilty as Damian continued to run, both of us unable to do anything but hope Alexander looses our trail. I couldn't help but get nervous as I saw Alexander run beside Damian, randomly throwing himself into him to push him over. My heart felt as if it was beating outside my chest as I watched Damian push on, him baring his teeth all while still trying not to hurt me. I then saw Alexander slow down, now running behind him, attempting to bite his back legs, if he does that we are done for. Fear began to overtake me, Damian then snapped me out of it as he suddenly threw me. I soon then heard a loud whine, Alexander got him...no......NO! I watched as Alexander pinned down Damian, his jaws attempting to get around Damian's neck as he thrashed around, desperate to somehow get out. I then transformed back into a human, instinctively sprinting and trying to jump onto Alexander. Without thinking twice Alexander grabbed my thigh and threw me off. As Alexander's neck became exposed from throwing me, Damian took his chance and bit his neck clamping down in seconds. Pain erupted through my leg and my back as I hit the ground, sticks and rocks scraping my skin and I tumbled across the dirt. I then soon felt a hand force me up as a knife threatened to be pushed into neck. I dared not breathe, scared that I would accidentally cut myself while doing so.

"RELEASE HIM"

A women shouted from behind me, the second I heard her I recognized her voice...Damian's mom? Everyone froze, eventually Damian glared at her before slowly releasing And kicking Alexander off. Alexander and Damian both transformed back into humans, their bones crunching and popping back into place. Alexander stood there, bruises all over his body from earlier and teeth marks along his neck. Damian looked way worse, deep circles under his eyes, bruises along his arms, and deep bite marks on his thigh. Damian stared at his mother, the feeling of betrayal on his face. The Luna then pushed me away, my legs gave out, still weak from literally everything that happened. Damian immediately tried his best to rush over and help me, his walk now being a distinct limp.

"Why the hell would you do this?"

Damian finally asked, his voice rough and breathing heavily. Now that I finally looked at her, I realized that she was now crying, her hair now tangled with sticks unlike it's usual beautiful state as if she had been running through bushes and the forest in a hurry. Dirt and small cuts everywhere, the knife she had held against my neck now dropped to the ground and she tried to compose herself.

"Because.....Alexander is my brother.....I can't let you kill him....."

Damian's betrayal soon turned to confusion as he began helping me up.

"Your an only child tho? Your mother died in childbirth to you"

The Luna shook her head as Alexander began walking up to her.

"He's like a brother to me, his family took me in."

Damian's confusion soon turned to anger, I just stared in shock. Damian's mother thinks of that monster as a brother? The Luna then turned to me, tears falling from her eyes before walking over to me.

"Get away from me."

I said, my voice emotionless. I couldn't help but be angry at how she could betray her own son and me for someone like Alexander.

"Please just hear me out.......I'm so sorry Luke......I knew what Alexander was doing to you and I still let him do it for all those years...."
