~~~~~Luke's Pov~~~~~~

I woke up to strong arms hugging me, I soon realized that I was being spooned. I glanced at the man who was spooning me, WHA?!?! WHY IS THE FUTURE ALPHA SPOONING ME?! Didn't he reject me? I then recalled the events from yesterday as I attempted to wiggle out of his strong, toned, sexy..........I NEED TO FOCUS. I just brought an ALPHA OF ALL THINGS, to my secret house and had sex with him, NOT EVEN KNOWING IF HE WILL REJECT ME OR NOT. But he did try and make an effort to calm me down when I was crying.......UGH WHY DID I GIVE HIM MY V CARD?! I couldn't help but moan at the memory, I quickly covered my mouth. Oh my god........did I just moan AT A MEMORY?! A DAMN THOUGHT?! I turned into my cat form before running out of the house. I looked back and I realized that the future Alpha didn't even notice I was gone......he should be paired with someone strong not a weak neko like me.......

I couldn't help but keep running, my soft fur being blown back as I did so. My vision got blurry with tears as I started slowing down, but I quickly sped up again as I attempted to suppress my tears. I eventually got lost, I slowly slowed down to a complete stop as I tried to remain calm as I attempted to figure out where I was. The trees managed to cover all the sunlight so it was almost completely dark even tho it was still midday. I jumped at every little sound as I tried to find a place to hide. God I regret running off.

~~~~~~Damian's pov~~~~~~

As soon as I woke up i noticed Luke's warm body wasn't in my arms, my arms naturally searched for Luke. After a few minutes of searching I realized that Luke wasn't in the bed. I opened my eyes, scanning the room for my precious neko. I still couldn't find him, my wolf started going crazy. His scent was all over the place so I couldn't get a trail. I searched everywhere for him but I still couldn't find him. After hours of searching I finally caught a faint scent of him, I followed it, my wolf and I praying that we could find him. His scent led me into a nearby forest, the trees were so thick that they took away all light. Please be ok baby boy. I followed his scent into the forest, careful not to loose it. After a while I finally saw him, he was curled up under a fallen branches. I could see that he was shivering, I ran over to him and transformed into a human again. I picked up my neko with gentle hands, his eyes opened up, widening at the sight of me. He immediately tried to jump out of my arms when he realized it was me but I refused to let him go. I slowly pressed him against my chest, hoping that my body heat might help him warm up. He soon melted into my touch and accepted the fact that he was caught. I couldn't help but stare at my mate, it looked as if one wrong touch could've broken him. I quickly ran back to the pack house, immediately tucking him into a bed. I quietly tried to leave the room, trying not to wake him. I was about to reach the door nob when I felt a weak slight pull on my shirt.

"P-please don't leave me......"

My mate had transformed into a human, I could feel his freezing cold hand through my shirt. His eyes looked tired as his body was still slightly shaking. I stared at his slim body for a moment before kneeling down and picking him up bridal style.

"I need to get the pack doctor, I'm sorry but I will be gone a moment. But when I come back I won't leave you, i promise. Just stay conscious until then baby."

He slowly nodded, his eye lids struggling to keep open as he did so. I placed his ice cold body in my bed, pulling the blanket up before forcing myself to leave. I looked around for the closet person.......there was no one. I then saw a teen girl, about the age of 13, Emily.

"EMILY, BRING THE PACK DOCTOR TO MY ROOM STAT."

She nodded before running off. I quickly ran back to my room.

"LUKE."

Luke struggled to look over to me as he weakly smiled.

"Damian....your back "

Tears filled his eyes as I rushed over to him and climbed in the bed.

"Hey baby, why are you crying? "

He stayed silent for a moment before saying

"I-I thought you weren't gonna come back...."

I ran my thumb across his cheek, brushing away one of his fallen tears before staring right into his breath taking eyes and saying,

"Luke, I will never leave you. If you haven't noticed, but your kinda stuck with me."

I couldn't help but smile when I said this.

Luke burst out in tears, I pressed his head against my chest while rubbing his soft fluffy hair.

"Please mean it........"

I kissed the top of his head before saying

"I'll never lie to you kitten"

"Damian.......I'm tired......"

"Then go to sleep......"

I watched his peaceful face as he slept, the moment would've been perfect if I didn't have questions swirling around in my head. Why did he run away? Why was is he so scared around me? Why did he try to get away from me? I could feel my heart break a little when I thought about the last question. I laid next to Luke as I faded off into a deep sleep.
