Aliyah's POV
I opened my eyes slowly. I stared at nothing as my eyes adjusted to the dim light in the room. I noticed the light illuminating from the other side of the room.
What happened?
Omg Ava
I tried to get up quickly but I couldn't. Something or someone was laying on me
I moved my body gently, ignoring the pain I felt
I'll always recognize that smell. The fragrance of her perfume
My vision finally becoming clear as I watched Ava
She was resting on me, cuddling me tightly
I slowly brought my hand to her face.
She looks so peaceful, I smiled
I brought my lips to kiss the top of her head. I smiled when she muttered sleepily. I moved my thumb gently around her cheek.
"I'll never let anything happen to you" I spoke softly as I caressed her cheeks
Call me stupid, I don't care
I stayed like that for a while, watching her sleep.
I chuckled when I heard light snores
I bet she would say she doesn't snore, I laughed to myself
My precious moment was interrupted by a nurse.
She walked in smiling, like they all do
"I see you're up" she said smiling
I smiled back, just to be polite of course
"How do you feel?"
I feel like getting the hell out of this place. I hate hospitals. Reminds me of so many bad memories
"I feel fine. Just slight pains here" I gestured to my side
She nodded
"That's because of the surgery, you'll be fine. But don't do anything to make the stitches come off"
I nodded
"And take your medication too"
I smiled
"Is she your girlfriend" she pointed out
I nodded smiling, averting my gaze back to a sleeping Ava
"Yes she is"
She smiled back at me

"You guys look cute together"
"Thanks"
"Alright then, eat up then take your drugs" she brought the tray closer to me
I scanned the content of the food
No way I'm touching this
I nodded
"Sure"
She proceeded to excuse herself but I stopped her
"Ehm, is my Dad around?"
She nodded smiling
"Yes. Do you want me to send them in"
Them?
"Yeah sure. That would be nice. Thanks"
She finally excused herself
Ava was moving slightly, muttering sleepy words. I chuckled as I watched her
She slowly began to open her eyes. But not so brightly cause she still looked really sleepy
She tried to stir but I held her quickly so she wouldn't fall off the bed
When her eyes met mine it widened
"O my God, Aliyah" she pushed herself up to hug me
I put my hands around her as she hugged me tightly
I've missed this
"Easy there" I chuckled, ignoring the pain I felt
I used my hand to caress her back lightly
I could hear light sobbing sounds
"Don't cry" I cooed
"It's okay"
But she kept sobbing.
"I thought I was going to loose you" she sniffled
I wrapped my hands around her protectively
"Hey, I'm not going anywhere" I whispered
"Why did you do that?" She croaked out
Isn't it obvious? I'll do anything for you
"I'm so sorry I put you and everyone else through so much pain" I whispered
"But you don't have to worry, I'm here now" I kissed the top of her head
She pulled back, wiping her tears
I smiled bringing her face close to mine
"I love you" I whispered kissing her cheeks
"I love you" she responds bringing her lips to capture mine
"I know this sounds like a weird thing to say right now, but you look really adorable" I stated, pulling back to peak her lips

She rolled her eyes and this got me laughing. I tried to stop laughing cause it makes the pain worse
"Hey couz" Derek said as he walked in
"Back from the land of the dead?" he joked
I chuckled
"Where's Dad?"
"He's still at the station"
I nodded
"Sarah went to get us food"
I smiled when I heard that
"Good cause I can't eat this crap"
I pointed towards the food tray
Ava still cuddled me tightly, refusing to let go
"I'll leave you guys alone" Derek spoke smiling
"Thanks"
He smiled before heading out

We were at the hospital for two extra days. Ava never left my side, I felt bad cause she had to skip school for me
"Are you all set" my Dad asked
I smiled as I nodded
"Yeah I am"
Ava was outside talking to a younger nurse. I wonder what they were talking about.
"Hey babe" she smiled as I approached them
"Alright then, I'll leave you to it" the nurse spoke before excusing herself
I watched her skeptically.
"What did she want" I asked when she was far from us
Ava shrugged
"Nothing much. She thought I was cute and asked for my number"
My eyes twitched
"Hey, she can't say that" I complained
"Why? You don't think I'm cute?" She grinned
"Nope"
She gasped
"What?" she said, trying to cover her mouth from laughing too much
"I don't think you're cute at all. In fact there's nothing cute about you"
She frowned
"That's mean" I laughed, pulling her close to me. I wrapped my hands around her
"You're breathtakingly gorgeous" I winked
"You're so silly" she laughed
"Only for you my love"
We finally got outside, where my Dad was waiting in his car
"Ready girls?"
We nodded, sliding into the back seat
"Mr Anderson?" Ava spoke
"Yeah?" He replies as he watched us through the front mirror
"I was hoping I could steal Aliyah for a while"
He chuckled
What's Ava up to?
"How much is a while?"
She shrugged
"I would love if she could stay with me for a week"
"If your parents is cool with it, and Aliyah of course, sure" My Dad spoke
She took my hand in hers, raising a brow as she watched me
"Are you sure about this?" I asked her
"Yeah. Besides I'll be taking a break from school for a while. The doctors said I need to rest"
Hope she's fine
I smiled
"Yeah sure"
"I'll just have to get few of my things and my keys"
She smiled brightly
I moved close to place a peck on her cheek.
One week it is
Thanks for reading
Much love, always ♥️

The gang activity is enough, why do we need to have an all-out war on school grounds? That will be too much for me to clean as a poor, lonely graveyard janitor. Old Summary: My gaze raised, and I observed the darkened face of the ghost, only visible feature being glowing red eyes. They faded into darkness, and I thought the offer over even as the body seemed to grow heavier in my arms. My first friend since this whole thing started, a few years ago.
