The day of her birthday

In the morning

Carol wanda and natasha are in the living room talking

Wanda: "who is distracting her while we set up for the party?"

Carol: "i can... there has been something i've been wanting to give her for a while"

Nat:that settles it then. We will text you when we are ready"

Carol: "okay sounds good"

Carol walks up to Jordan's bedroom. She walks in and wakes up jordan

Carol: "jor. Jor wake up"

Jordan: "five more minutes"

Carol: "come on get up"

Jordan: "no"

She digs her head under a pillow

Carol: "fine. Five more minutes then you have to get up"

20 minutes later

Carol: "okay get up i gave you 20 minutes"

Jordan: "no"

Carol grabs one of the pillows that were on the floor and hits Jordan

Jordan: "what the hell carol!"

Carol: "get up"

Jordan: "fine"

She sits up

Carol: "get dressed and we will go get breakfast. We can go to Sullivan street bakery. Your favorite place to get breakfast"

Jordan: "you remembered?"

Jordan was surprised, they hadn't been there together or mentioned the bakery after carol ran away

Carol: "Of course I remembered. We used to go there all the time. Now get ready so we can go""

10 minutes later

Jordan: "I'm ready"

Carol: "great let's go"

Jordan: "wait hey baby"

Nat: "hey. I'm so sorry but can we talk later I have an important assignment I need to finish"

She walks out of the room

Jordan:" w-what"

Carol: "what's wrong?"

Jordan:" nat. She just left. Did she forget my birthday?"

Carol:" of course not shes probably just busy"

Jordan: "i-i hope "

Carol: "now come on let's go get food"

Jordan: "okay"

Carol: "I'll meet you in the car in a minute. I need to get something from my room"

Jordan walks to carol's car and gets in

Jordan: "what's taking so long?"

Carol gets in the car

Carol: "Sorry about that. Now lets get food"

They drive to the bakery and get food

Jordan: "I missed this food. I missed getting it with you"

Carol: "So did i. I missed spending time with each other. Just the two of us. I also missed seeing you grow up into the amazing woman"

Jordan: " carol stop, let's keep this happy"

She hugs jordan.

They finish eating and walk to a nearby lake. They sit on a bench and talk for a while.

Carol: "i have something for you"

She pulls out a box

Carol: "Mom gave this to me before she passed away. She wanted me to give it to you when you got older. And because of the last 6 years i couldn't give it to you sooner but now i can"

She hands the box to jordan

Jordan: "mom gave this to you?"

Carol: "mhm now open it"

Jordan opens the box.

In the box there was a bracelet. She takes the bracelet out of the box and looks at it realizing it look familiar.

Carol: "i have a similar one"

She lifts up her sleeve of her jacket

Carol: "the main color is my favorite color and then there are two strips of colors. Red is moms and then yours was purple.then in the center was a white star indicating out love for one another. Same with yours. Your main color is purple red strip for mom and then blue for me. And then the white star in the middle. Mom gave it to me a month before she passed away. She wished she could have given it to you in person"

Jordan: "i love it so much carol"

She puts on the bracelet

Carol: "i think they look good together"

She puts her wrist next to Jordan's, showing off the two bracelets

They smile

Carol: "love you little sis. happy birthday"

She hugs jordan

Jordan: "thanks sis"

Carol's phone buzzes

Jordan: "what's wrong?"

Carol: "nothing. We should head back to the compound"

Jordan: "okay?"

They drive back to the compound and when they walk in

Jordan: "Why is it so dark in here?What happened to all the lights?"

The lights flip on and everyone yells surprise

Jordan: "oh my god!"

She laughs

Nat: "happy birthday princess"

She kisses jordan

Jordan: "you remembered?"

Nat: "Of course I would remember. You're my princess and I could never forget your birthday. Everyone was planning it and we needed to keep it a secret. When i was in a rush this morning it was to pick up your cake"

Jordan: "aww baby"

Natasha hugs jordan

Nat: "love you"

She kisses jordan on the cheek

Tony: "let's get this party started"

A couple hours later

Natasha and jordan are sitting on the couch talking with pepper

Pepper: "how does it feel? 22 now?"

Jordan: "feels different but the same."

Nat: "where is wanda and carol?"

Pepper: "i'm not sure. Clint"

She calls clint over

Pepper; "have you seen carol or wanda?"

Clint: "no i haven't maybe they are getting some fresh air"

Two people walk in and Jordan bolts up from the couch

Jordan: "aunt maria uncle fury"

Fury: "how is my favorite niece on her birthday"

Jordan: "way better now that you and aunt maria are here"

Maria: "Happy birthday jordan. This is from the both of us"

She hands jordan a gift

Jordan: "thank you so much"

Fury: "what are you waiting for, open it"

Jordan opens the gift

Jordan: "is this a photo album from the past years"

Maria: "yes it is. All of our memories together. There is also another item in there"

Jordan: "Is this a necklace? A charm necklace?"

Fury: "all the charms mean something special in your life. The shield logo when you took classes there. An avengers logo when you joined the team to create devices for them. A red hourglass symbol for you and natasha and then the symbol of the star carol has on the middle of her suit"

Jordan: "thank you both so much. I love both of the gifts"

She hugs them

Carol:"we are back with food"

Wanda: "because someone forgot to pick it up"

She glares at Tony

Tony: "it was an accident"

Carol:"mhm"

Everyone continuous to talk, drink, and party

Nat: "princess let's go outside i want to give you your gift"

Jordan: "okay"

They walk out to the front lawn

Nat: "happy birthday princess"

She gives jordan a small box

Nat: "open it"

Jordan opens the box. Inside there was a ring.

Nat : "it's a promise ring. I love you so much and wanted to give you something special. It will always hold my love for you when I am away"

Jordan: "i love it baby"

Nat: "well i'm glad you love it princess"

She kisses jordan

Nat: "happy birthday"
