"What's this place," I asked Bleu smiling it's so pretty and quiet. I looked up at Bleu to see that she was staring at me. Damn the whole family got a staring problem. "What?" I chuckled poking her shoulder.
"My bad love" she smiled hard asf, damn she fine. "This is my safe place. I found it when I was little and I just kept coming back."
She guided me to a river.
"Its so pretty." I squealed. Putting my hands in the water watching the little fish pass through.
"So are you, love. Now come on the water is not even two feet deep." Bleu pulled me towards a small cave with two fold-out chairs. "This was me and my sister's chairs we use to sit in them when she came with me. But she stopped once she got older but I kept coming back."
"Awn" I cheesed. "Ion knows yall but I can tell yall bond is cute."
"Yeah whateva." She rolled her eyes. "Oh yeah, you can't tell her that I brought you here."
"why?"
"She's gonna make some big ass dealing about you being the first girl I brought here and ion wanna hear it." I laughed this bitch probably lying.
"Well, I'm honored to be you're first." I lied but I was still smiling. "Can I ask you something?" She nodded looking up at me. "What's your real name?"
She laughed looking around at the birds flying past us. "Why you wanna know, you the fed?" I straight-faced her rolling my eyes. "Nah I'm just playing its Barbara."
"Are you dead ass Bleu?" She looked at me sideways nodding her head. I tried to look away so I woul-. "That old ass name nigga you serious." I bussed out laughing "Sorry I couldn't hold it in."

And what makes THEM different? Recruit is a bunch of chapters I wrote to create to the setting, mood, and game systems of the Infinite Labyrinth. It is NOT a complete story in the classic sense. It's more of a slice of life view of early days of a normal Professional from the Infinite Labyrinth, and it's heavy on info-dump. It's 90% canon - there's probably a bit of a difference between how some characters and common behaviour are portrayed here and how they'll come out in the main story. Set two years before the events that kick-start the main series, it features some of the secondary/peripheral characters of the Infinite Labyrinth and will tell you all about the basic mechanics of the Labyrinth's RPG system. It can be considered a spoiler, as the characters in the Infinite Labyrinth are going to need to figure out all that, on their own. But if you like a much deeper exposition in the mechanics, here it is. The entire prequel is about 80 pages long.
