You were grateful for the fact that you had been given the chance to board the boat. Selling the horse you had stolen from the Lannisters had given you just enough money to buy your way across the ocean but that was only because you had agreed to be part of their crew for the way over.

The 3 weeks that you had been on the boat had given you plenty of time to get over Cersei. By the end of the third week, you had practically forgotten about her. It was like she had never existed and it made you happy. You had even come to the realization that you were only attracted to her because of the attention she would give you. Where you had come from, they frowned upon those that had attraction to the same gender but Cersei and her family had opened up to you and you had been blinded by their 'kindness'

During your duration of the trip, you had been hearing rumors about a beautiful queen with silver hair that had dragons. You scoffed at the idea of such things existing. They had been extinct for years! Why would they suddenly come out and how was it possible that you had never heard of them. You were a general in the Lannister army and had access to just about any kind of information. No one had ever told you about such beasts.

You landed in Meereen soon after and had asked for directions to see the dragon queen. It wasn't hard to find her. As soon as the guards had heard of you asking several people about the location of their queen, they brought you to her.

She was even more beautiful than you had heard.

"You stand in the presence of Daenerys Stormborn of House Targaryen, rightful heir to the Iron Throne, rightful Queen of the Andals and the First Men, Protector of the Seven Kingdoms, The Mother of Dragons, The Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, The Unburnt, The Breaker of Chains."

Never in your life had you been more intimated of standing in someone's presence. She was so sure and in control of herself.

"My name is (y/n). I come from the Seven Kingdoms. I used to be a general for the Lannister Army and I heard that you were looking to take back the Iron Throne."

Her eyes never seemed to leave yours and it made you nervous. You were never nervous.

Her men pointed their spears in your back as they waited for their Queen's command to kill you.

"Please. I'm only here to help you. The Lannisters do not belong in the Iron Throne.:

She motions for them to lower their spears and step back.

"Go on."

"I would rather speak to you privately on this matter."

She lasted a long time before eventually nodding and making everyone step out of the room.

"You were saying."

You revealed to her everything. All their strategic posts. Where they would store their weapons and anything else that she might need to take them down. You knew that you would never be able to take down Cersei by yourself but with the help of Daenerys, you might have a chance.

"You have a place with me if you choose to stay or I can provide you enough gold to get you settled of a place of your choosing."

"I would like to stay with you, My Queen."

She smiled and personally led you to your room.

That room was only ever used for the first month that you had been with Daenerys. As you spent more time with her, the more the two of you would open up to each other until eventually both of you revealed your feelings for each other. You had never expected for someone like Daenerys to actually end up returning your feelings but you were happy. She had proved to you again and again that she was in love with you. Even her dragons were happy with you. They never let anyone come close to them unless it was Daenerys but you had been an exception.

Months progressed as did your relationship with Daenerys. You knew she wanted you to be her wife and it made you nervous. You were scared. You weren't fit to rule the Iron Throne with her. It's why you had been avoiding her for the past several days. You weren't ready to deal with that.

"Have I done something to upset you?"

Daenerys had managed to corner you in the library after almost a week of no talking.

"You haven't."

"Then why are you avoiding me. Is this because of the marriage thing? Do you not want to marry me?"

You could see the tears forming in her eyes and immediately rushed over to hug her.

"Of course I want to marry you."

"Then what's the problem."

"I'm not fit to rule the Seven Kingdoms with you. I know you'll be a great Queen and everyone will adore you but they'll just see me as an annoyance."

She reached up to cup your cheeks, making you look down at her.

"They won't because you will make a great Queen. The people in Meereen love you. I don't have a doubt in my mind that they'll love you in the seven kingdoms."

The way she was looking at you made you believe everything she was telling you. You smiled and kiss her cheek.

"Thank you for not giving up on me."

"Never. Does that mean you'll marry me?"

"I'll marry you a thousand times, Dany."

The wedding had been attended by everyone, including Daenerys dragons. You could not stop smiling at her since you first laid your eyes on her. She looked gorgeous in her dress and you couldn't help but fall a little more in love with her.

Daenerys couldn't help but think the same. She loved the fact that you had chosen to wear her house colors and insignia. It made her see that you truly wanted to be with her.

She later on revealed to you how immensely it turned her on to see you wearing your (suit/dress).

It's when you came to find out that Daenerys was quite possessive of you. Since then, you been wearing outfits similar to hers. Anything that would show that you were now (Y/n) Targaryen.
