Angelina was furious. She had woken up to a series of text messages congratulating her on the pregnancy. After a little digging, she ended up finding out that photos of you with your little baby bump had been released.

You woke up to voice of Angie furiously whispering to someone. You tried to get her attention but she just held up a finger and told you to wait for her to finish.

"What's going on?"

"Nothing."

She mumbled while she composed a series of text messages to some people.

"That didn't look like nothing. You can either tell me or I'll end up finding out."

She sighs, puts her phone away and turns to face you.

She had always been so protective of you. Angie felt that it was her duty to keep you away from the paparazzi. She would always block you from their prying cameras and hurtful questions whenever the two of you would go out and when you began to show signs of your pregnancy, she had hired bodyguards for you to help keep them form finding out. After everything that she had done to protect you from them, someone had ended up leaking the pictures. Whether it was by accident or on purpose, she didn't care.

"Someone released pictures of you with a baby bump and there's already tons of articles about it. I tried to stop it from spreading further but it didn't matter, it was already too late by the time I woke up."

You couldn't care less about anyone finding out. What mattered was that you and Angie were safe. Yes, the comments you would often read online that she deserved better and that you were only using her for her fame hurt but you didn't pay attention to them.

"It was bound to happen, love. I would have preferred that we announced it ourselves but there's nothing we can do about it."

"Yes, we can stay inside and not come out until you have our baby."

You laughed at her suggestion and pulled her in for a kiss.

"We can't. We're going to a premiere tomorrow and we're not going to miss it because you want to protect me from the world."

"I've already called and we're going to skip it. I don't care about appearing on the red carpet. What matters is that they don't give you more shit because you're carrying our child."

"We're going to that premiere. You worked so hard in the movie and I'm not going to miss it because some reporters can't mind their own business."

Angelina couldn't really tell you anything else. You had already made up your mind and she had always been sucker for you. Always letting you have the last say and such.

"Fine but the second that someone tells you shit, we're leaving after I punch the asshole."

It happened so fast. One second, you're simply smiling at one of the cameras and the next you're being pulled behind one of the men in security.

"You fucking bitch! I'll sue you for that."

The reporter that was holding his nose to stop the bleeding yelled to Angie that was currently being pushed back as the man tried to jump over the fence.

"I told you never to talk to her like that. You're lucky it was only the nose."

Security escorted him out and led the two of you inside the theater.

"Are you okay? Did he hurt you?"

She asked while checking you up and down to make sure you weren't scratched.

"I'm fine, Angie. I'm worried about you. Let me see your hand."

Angelina hissed as you touched you.

"I'm sure there's someone here that knows first aid."

You motioned for one of the security guards to come over, asking him if someone could come and check her hand.

"I really can't believe you did that."

"He deserved it. I gave him several chances to apologize and he never did. I only did what was right."

You sigh as she refused to see what she had done wrong.

Another security guard had come over and simply just handed her an ice pack and some pain relievers, saying that it wasn't broken and just needed to heal a little.

"I'm not going to apologize for what I did."

The two of you were already taking a seat in front of the screen while patiently waiting for the movie to start.

"I know and I'm not asking you to. Thanking you for defending me."

She smiled and kissed the back of your hand.

"I would do it all over again for you."
