Summary: You meet her while on vacation

You needed time away from you home. Things were getting far too stressful and you figured getting away from everything would be the perfect idea.

After thorough searching, you ended up finding out about a small Greek island that was just perfect. It would cut you out of the world that you were trying to avoid and you just knew that it was going to help you with the stress.

You arrived a week later after booking everything. The island was small as you had researched and there were hardly any people around.

"Uh excuse me but could you help me find my hotel?"

Your phone signal was quite shitty and the only person around was this woman that seemed like nice enough to help you.

"Yeah, just a sec."

The woman standing in front of you was quite beautiful. You hadn't realized that she was talking until she was snapping her fingers in front of you.

"I'm sorry but what did you say?"

She laughed at your reaction and repeat the directions.

"I'll take you if you want."

"I would love that, thank you."

Donna smiled and led the way as the two of you introduced each other.

"Maybe I could show you around? Show you all the best places to see in the island?"

"Really? You wouldn't mind? Not at all. It'll be fun."

Donna soon left to let you check in and get situated with the promise to return for you later.

As promised, Donna had come to pick you up to take you to one of her favorite restaurants.

"Let me pick for you, if you don't love it then I'll let you pick for me next time."

"Alright. Go ahead and pick for me."

She didn't bother looking at the menu as she ordered for the two of you.

The entire time in dinner, the two of you would talk about each other. Telling jokes and stories about what you had both gone through.

"So why did you pick the island? I'm sure there were plenty of other places for you to pick from."

"I searched online for small places that were underrated and this one was at the top of the list. I wasn't really looking to go to a big city for the sights and it's why I came here. I'm really happy that I ended up picking this place, though. It led me to you."

Once dinner was finished, the two of you went to walk down the beach to continue talking about each other until eventually it had gotten quite late.

"I had a fun time. Maybe we could do this again. Tomorrow?"

"Tomorrow sounds good."

You weren't sure whether to go in for a kiss or a hug. Donna ended up choosing for you. Opting to pull you in for a kiss before she left.

She was an amazing kisser that you stayed up for a while just thinking about being able to kiss her again.

Donna ended up showing to your room early in the morning so you could both spend the day together. After breakfast, she showed you around the island, taking you to her favorite spots and shops while explaining a little bit of the history of them.

You loved hearing her talk about everything around the island that you were severely disappointed when night fell. With the promise to see each other the next day, the two of you bid each other goodnight.

That's how you ended up spending your entire week in the island. Each day, Donna would have a new thing for you to see and you wished your vacation wouldn't end. You had come to really like her and the thought of leaving her behind didn't sit well with you.

"So I'm heading out tomorrow."

You start off while taking a bite out of your food.

"Oh. What time will you be heading out?"

"Around 5-6. I need to head out early to catch my plane back to the states. I'm suppose to go to work tomorrow."

Donna nodded, unsure of what to say. She wanted to tell you to stay with her but she couldn't do that to you. You had a life in a different city. Whatever the two of you had was only going to last a little while.

She gave you a smile before talking.

"Well hopefully, you have another chance to come visit me."

You could tell that she was holding something back but knowing her, she was just going to deny everything.

"Actually, I was thinking of maybe staying here for a little while longer. I still have a couple of more vacation days and it's possible I might be able to work remotely."

"You can't, (y/n). You have responsibilities."

"Well you still have a lot to show me and I don't want to leave until you've show me all around the island."

Donna bit her lip to hold back a smile.

"You would really stay for me?"

"Well you are an amazing tour guide. They don't hire them like they used to."

She rolled her eyes, tossing you a piece of her food.

"Shut up. You aren't paying me for it. You're lucky I'm offering my services when I could be charging you."

You smiled and leaned in to kiss her.

"I am lucky indeed."
