Thanks to your friend, Alex, you had gotten to be Sonny's replacement at the SVU unit. It had been a dream of yours to work with them and you were entirely grateful for the opportunity.

It's where you had managed to meet your best friend, Amanda. She was always there for you and you couldn't have asked for someone better. Alex and Olivia would always joke that the two of you would end up together after seeing how close the tow of you were but you just shrugged them. Telling them that the two of you were just best friends and nothing else. Olivia and /Alex would just roll their eyes and pretend to agree that the two fo you were friends and nothing else. Which was true for a while but eventually after spending so much time together, you began to develop feelings for her. You kept it from Amanda fearing that it would destroy your friendship when in reality Amanda was hiding it as well.

She continued to hide it until she no longer could when she spotted you with another woman in the park that she had taken her kids to.

"Come on guys. I want to introduce you to my friend."

She walked over to where you were and cleared her throat causing you and the other woman to turn around and face her.

You gave her a bright smile and pulled her in for a hug!

"Amanda! I didn't know you were going to come here."

"Yeah, well neither did I."

You frowned when you heard her tone of voice. Amanda was never like this.

"and who is this?"

"This is my sister, Elizabeth."

After hearing that she was your sister, Amanda couldn't help but feel ridiculous.

"Oh. Lovely to meet you."

Elizabeth just smirked when she noticed Amanda's mood change. She found it ridiculous that the two of them could be so blind. She had only known Amanda for a couple of minutes and she could tell that she was in love with you.

The four of your spent the day at the park until eventually Elizabeth had to head home.

"Tell her, she feels the same way."

She whispered to you as you hugged her.

Hearing the words from your sister, you couldn't help but think that maybe it was time to do so. Your sister was never wrong about these kinds of things so no doubt in your mind that she was right.

"I need to tell you something Amanda."

Amanda turned to face you as you talked to her.

"What is it?"

You bit your lip as you debated that maybe it was a bad idea but one look at her and you decided it was worth the risk.

"I like you a lot Amanda. I've had feelings for you for a while now and I couldn't keep them from you anymore."

Instead of replying, she just kissed you. She had been wanting to kiss you for a while now and she could not miss this opportunity.

"It's safe to assume that you do as well."

"It is."

When Alex and Olivia caught word that the two of you were dating, they would not stop teasing the two of you about the fact that both of them had called it.
