Summary: She hides the fact that she sings

You loved the way she sang. Her voice was so soothing and you could never get enough of the way it sounded. Despite her attempts to hide herself recording videos to post online, you always knew what she was doing.

It was adorable for her to think that she could hide from you. You knew getting for her to share anything was difficult so you figured it was time for you to do something about it. 

The week had finally ended and Kaylee was finally free. You told her you were going to pick her up for date night and told her to simply dress in something comfortable. 

"You look beautiful."

"Thank you. Are you going to tell me where we're going now or is it still a secret."

You laughed and leaned in to kiss her cheek, taking her hand and leading her back to your car.

"It's a secret. You'll see when we get there."

The rest of the car ride was silent as the two of you enjoyed listening to new music on the radio. A few minutes later and you had made it to the parking lot of a karaoke bar that you had heard so highly of.

"You didn't!? Why did you bring me to a karaoke bar."

"Because I want you to feel comfortable with me. I love the way you sing and I think maybe this will help."

You led her inside, taking a booth near the front to have the perfect view of the stage. The two of you ordered a light meal and once you had finished the food, you excused yourself saying you needed to go to the bathroom. In reality, you had signed up to go next.

"That was fast. Was there no line?."

"Oh um no." 

You took a large sip of your drink to avoid answering any of her questions. 

It took another couple of minutes before your name was called up.

"This one is for you."

You kissed her and then headed to the stage to do a terrible cover of the song the two of you had declared to be your song. You knew you weren't the greatest singer since you could tell that the other people in the bar just wanted for the next person to go but you didn't care. This was for Kaylee and for her to see that she shouldn't hide what she loved.

"That was beautiful. I can't believe you went up there for me."

"Oh hush. I know it was terrible. I think you were the only one that didn't cover their ears when I began to sing."

She of course denied it but you knew the truth. Kaylee couldn't hide anything from you. Another half hour passed by and you figured it was already time to head back home. 

"Wait. I just have to do something real quick."

Kaylee headed over to the DJ for her song and then climbed on the stage as the song started.

"The way you move is like a full on rainstorm..."

You just fell a little more in love with her.
