Summary: She's jealous

You've been CEO of CatCo ever since James had quit to head back to Metropolis. The promotion had come as a complete surprise to you but you thanked him for the opportunity. It opened up a lot of doors to you and allowed you to have much more responsibilities. Lena had helped you your first week, giving you tips and tricks as to how handle your employees and soon were left on your own. She trusted that you would do a good job on running Catco and left you on your own, making your promise to call her if there were any issues.

With your promotion, you were given a secretary to help you keep track of everything. You had at first declined having one but Lena insisted it would make your life much easier so you relented.

Hearing about your promotion, Kara had been extremely proud of you. She knew how hard you had worked for it and even took you out for dinner to celebrate.

"Wait? You're secretary is Siobhan? I thought she had been fired."

"Why would she get fired?"

Kara sighs and plays with he straw on her cup. She was not one to be jealous but she had heard stories of Siobhan doings things to get ahead of her career. It made her feel guilty for listening in to the rumors but she couldn't help herself, Siobhan would be working with her girlfriend.

"You know.. she's one of those girls that wants everything handed to her."

"Kara! That was incredibly rude. That rumor was probably started by men that have nothing better to do. Don't listen to them."

She mumbled an apology and the rest of the dinner had been awkward.

Your first day at your new job had been relatively normal, you didn't notice any strange behavior from Siobhan and you were relieved that Kara had been wrong. You didn't want to deal with such scandal on your first week.

Kara had even brought you lunch as an apology for last night and ate with you while she talked about her day.

The rest of the day had been quite boring and figured this was going to be quite an easy job.

You had been complete wrong. As the days went on, your day got much hard and ended up having late work days. Kara had been understanding and would occasionally bring you dinner whenever Siobhan hadn't beat her to it.

"Ms. (l/n), I'm done with the files. Is there anything else you wanted me to do for you?"

She was biting her lip and tried getting your attention to look at her.

"No. You can go ahead and head home. Goodnight Siobhan."

Kara had been a witness to all of it but didn't say as she noticed the defeated look on Siobhan. She was smirking at her as she made her way to the elevator.

"Are you ready to go home?"

"Yeah, just a sec."

You put everything away and turned off the tv's and computers.

"Let's go home, Kara."

She walked you home, as she was staying at your place.

"You know, Siobhan was trying to flirt with you?"

"What? No she wasn't."

"That's because you weren't paying attention, she was practically trying to eye fuck you."

You rolled your eyes at her exaggeration.

"Right. Lets go to sleep. You must be seeing things."

The next couple days, Siobhan upped her game. She dressed much more provocatively and would make bolder comments about you. You would be too distracted with work that you hardly paid attention and she was getting annoyed at your lack of interest.

Kara had no been blind to any of it all. She went through so many shirts and pens that she had to bring some extra for destroying them. You stopped asking what would happen to them as she would always answer with the same thing. She would get distracted and forget about her strength. You didn't quite believe her but there was nothing else you could think that might force her to break her pens.

Kara had finally had enough of her when Siobhan had pressed her front to your back while she showed her the covers of the magazine that would be out for next week. You again hadn't noticed as you would always get too invested in your work.

"Quit it. I know what you're doing and I'm this close to reporting you to HR."

Siobhan smirked and bopped Kara's nose.

"Quit what? I'm not doing anything. I'm just trying my best."

Kara was so tempted to reach over and grab her by the shirt but stopped herself as she knew that she would get in trouble. She knew that you could get her out of it but wouldn't want to put you in a position where you might lose your job.

"She's mine. She doesn't have eyes for anyone else but me."

"You foolish girl. Everyone cheats. It's just a matter of time as to when she'll bend over for me."

This infuriated Kara that when she noticed you opening the doors to her office, pulled you in for a rough kiss. It made you forget about what you were going to say as you wrapped your arms around her neck and let yourself get lost in the kiss.

Siobhan had heard enough and left without notice. She wasn't paid enough to deal with this.

"What was that for?"

You asked out of breath.

Kara turned around to look at Siobhan desk and smiled when she saw that she was gone. You followed her line of sight and rolled your eyes when you noticed what she was looking at.

"Just wanted to remind you that you're mine."
