《You/Katie Mcgrath and others Imagines》You/Kara Danvers - Lie
Advertisement
Summary: You know about Kara being Supergirl and how she has a crush on you. You're tired of having her lie to you so use it to your advantage
Kara was a terrible liar. She made up the worst lies whenever the two of you were having lunch and she was called from whatever agency she worked at. At first it had been pretty normal and you didn't suspect anything but it became quite suspicious when she would say that she forgot to turn off the stove when she didn't cook or she had to go work out because she forgot to in the morning. You didn't mind, they made you laugh and she was adorable whenever she stumbled through her excuse.
Soon after finding out her secret, you soon realized that she also hid another one. This one was much more secretive as she actually tried to hide it from you much better. Her crush on you was quite obvious when she actually decided to share her food while she would threaten others for trying to grab a piece of her food.
It's been a while since you've known about both things and you decided to have a little fun. You understood that she kept it from you for a reason but this was just something fun.
Supergirl would come visit your office late at night whenever she would come out on patrol and you figured it was time to start your fun.
"Miss. (L/n), how was your day?"
She had landed on your balcony and walked inside to take a seat in front of your desk. You closed what you were working on a turned your full attention on her.
"Quite boring. Tons of meetings and paperwork to fill out. But a certain someone always makes my day much brighter."

You said giving her a smile. Your smiled widened when you noticed the light blush on her cheeks.
"How was yours?"
"It was fun. Lots of cats to bring and no alien threats for the day."
You stood up and grabbed your things to take home.
"I'm sorry for asking Supergirl but you wouldn't mind giving me a lift to my place. It's quite late and I'm afraid to wake up my driver."
"No need to be sorry. I'm just happy you're finally heading home."
She waited until you had closed everything up and then carried you in her arms, flying a little slower so it wouldn't get too cold for you. You buried your face in her neck as she flew towards your balcony at your apartment. After landing, she gently let you down on your feet.
"I-I should go. I need to make sure that the city is safe."
"Of course. Thank you again. Goodnight Supergirl."
"Goodnight Miss. (l/n)"
Most of yours night were like that and you had to admit that you enjoyed being in her arms. After several days of some light flirting you decided to tease Kara. She had asked to meet you for lunch and you quickly agree.
"Kara! Thank you for inviting me."
You stood up to give her a quick hug and motioned for the waiter to come over and take your order.
"I missed you. We haven't been able to hang out together in a while."
"I know and I'm sorry. It's mainly my fault. I've just been busy."
"Busy? Are you working on a new contract?"
"Not exactly."
You leaned in close so that no one could listen to what you were saying.
"I've been staying later than usual at the office so Supergirl could take me home. I kind have a crush on her and I've been working up the courage to ask her out."

Kara's eyes had widened and she shook her head.
"I'm sorry to be the one to give you the news but Supergirl a private person and I'm sure she wouldn't want to put you in harms way for dating you. She cares about you."
You could see that she wanted to say so much but choose to drop it. The rest of lunch was quite tense but by the end the two of you were back to the way things were.
Supergirl hand't come to visit you for the past week and you started feeling guilty for upsetting her like that. You were about to call Kara and try to set up a meeting with Supergirl when you heard a soft knock at the balcony. You turned around to find Supergirl looking all shy.
"Hey."
"You wear glasses?"
You laughed softly not surprised to hear that being her first question.
"I do. Some of us actually have a use for them."
It must have went right over her head as she didn't say anything.
"I came to apologize."
"For what? You haven't done anything."
"I was avoiding you."
"Well that changes things. You have your own reasons. I'm just glad you're back. Take me home?"
"Gladly."
She took you back home and stayed for a little while to talk to you before leaving.
The next morning, there were very loud knocks on the door.
"I'm coming!"
You wrapped a robe around your body and rushed over to the door to open it.
"Kara? What are you doing here so early?"
"I know that you know."
"Know what?"
"That I'm Supergirl. I hadn't realized what you meant about the glasses thing until Alex explained it to me."
You let her in and closed the door behind you.
"Did you mean all those things? About you liking Supergirl?"
Kara tried not to be upset but it was hard considering that you were only interested because she was a hero.
"No, silly. I might have been talking about Supergirl but I was referring to you. It was the only subtle way to ask you out and I know it was kind of dumb but I was nervous."
"Yes."
"Yes, what?"
"I would love to go out with you."
She walked over to you and pulled you in for a kiss.
"Just a small taste before tonight. Pick me up at 7."
And she left before you could say anything else. You were in love and couldn't wait for your date.

Against such a chaotic backdrop, a boy continues to protect a semblance of daily life for his loved ones, but will he be successful when the curtains finally open? Book 6: The Frenzied Tide Synopsis: A sword hangs above the Eastern Territories. The Human God, progenitor of all life, the direct cause of the beastfolk genocide, has made his will known to the rulers of the East — make peace with the God of Water, or be destroyed in three months. Gaius, who has left the battlefield to return home, is once again called to fight, to support a do-or-die offensive upon their foe's territory. But in the background, the threads of destiny are beginning to come together. Plots set in motion long ago are coming to fruition... Book 7: Limina of Ruin Synopsis: The chalice has broken. The East is beset with turmoil, as factions turn on each other. The Great Divide, however, brims with a setting radiance, ensuring a final, transient peace. Spurred by a myriad chilling revelations and urged by a god's killer, the Mortal Light Dynasty gathers both mortal rulers and divine sovereigns, covering past conflicts with a offer of cooperation of an unprecedented scale. However, can this unity, first of its kind, stand up to time, fate and mortal nature? Or will it burn, along with the Five Lands? Book 9: Homeland Song Synopsis: Gazing out at the Orb of old, Gaius ponders his destiny and the great stakes with it. Time and again, he has led a life of choices, making one after another for the sake of those he cares about. His latest choice, however, carries implications of an immeasurable scale. Charged with the protection of the future, all that awaits him is an eternal solitude... On the other side of the false world, a single star shines, one whose light is meant to protect. Gemini, who has long found a homeland in the form of Ark City, has spent years defending it with friends and family alike. However, an inexorable end is approaching. The day the Great Divide falls looms ever closer. At the crossroads of destiny, when the chains of fate bind him fully, what will the last Constellation choose? And what will his choice mean for the rest of the Five Lands? Book 10: Immortal Indignant Synopsis: As the Five Lands reel from an unexpected revelation, Gaius continues his struggle to accept his immortal destiny of eternal vigilance. Mortal fetters continue to tie him down, with the prospect of breaking them a heart-rending prospect. There is little light for him in the darkness; his emotions seemingly a poisoned apple. For him, the days ahead are one of balancing his emotions; his immortal destiny is antithetical to the aspects that make one mortal. Hidden differences erupt, comrades turn upon comrades, and the alliance begins to crumble. What should have been a happy ending begins to fall apart. Watching from high above, the Abyss Sovereign laments his weakness, cursing the new destiny laid upon the world. And yet, he will never give up. Book 14: Abyss Ascendent Synopsis: As a future of never-ending conflict draws closer, Gaius stands at the centre of Orb, his will tempered and set. What the Wildlands has ceased to be, he will inherit. Divine Kingdoms and mortal nations clamour for peace to prepare for greater wars, but Gaius will no longer stand for that. For the sake of his dream, the Five Lands — and now, the Wildlands — must be unified against a common enemy. Gaius himself.
