Summary: You come with her to the SDCC to have some time with Katie. Avoiding fans from seeing the two of you together seemed harder than it sounded

Katie and you had been extremely busy this summer to manage flying out to see each other. She had filmed throughout her break and her filming schedule for Supergirl hardly allowed her any time to travel out of the country and return on time. You had started on a new project and had been assigned team leader and couldn't step away as you were needed to oversee that everything was going according to plan.

When you heard that Katie was coming to San Diego, you were beyond excited. It was only an hour away from home and therefore would be able to go see her after getting out from work. The only problem that the two of you would be facing was the fact that you and Katie would be needing to avoid any fans or photographers from seeing the two of you together. When you had started dating, both you and Katie had agreed that keeping the relationship from public would be a good idea. Your job fired anyone for the sole reason that they would do something inappropriate online and you knew your life would be scrutinized if word got around that you were dating Katie. Katie was simply a private person and hardly revealed anything. Her birthday had yet to be posted. That's how private Katie was. Neither of you had an issue with it as both your friends and family were aware about the relationship.

The idea was for you to come over both days after coming back from work but what you didn't tell her was that you had been given the weekend off. Therefore when Katie had arrived, you were there to pick her up.

She greeted you with a hug and a kiss after making sure no one had followed the two of you out to the parking lot.

"(y/n)! God. I missed you so much. I thought you would get out of work later on?"

"Originally, yes but for some reason my boss decided to give me the weekend off and I wanted to surprise you with the news."

"I'm not even going to ask why you were given the weekend off. I'm just glad I'll be able to spend the day with you."

She gave you the directions to the hotel and closed her eyes as you drove her to it.

Katie must have been exhausted from the plane ride that you had to wake her up after parking the car. She checked in and although you wanted to rent another room, she refused. Even if you wanted to, every hotel in the area was filled to the brim.

"I really don't want to go to this party, I'm exhausted and I just wanted to spend the night with you."

"We will get to spend the night together. Just not how we wanted."

"I know. I know. I can't complain. Let's start getting ready. We can't be late."

The two of you liked to match so it was no surprise that both of you had worn an entirely black outfit. Yours was a simple black (suit/dress), while she wore a form fitting dress with thigh high boots.

"You look gorgeous."

"Thank you, darling. You look gorgeous as well. Wait, lets get a picture together. I doubt we'll be able to get one at the party."

She asked Melissa to take one of the two of you and thanked her after handing her back the phone. You greeted everyone else and let everyone go before you did. It sucked that you couldn't go in with her but it did give you a chance to see how well the dress hugged her ass. Apparently Katie knew you could be looking that she simply smirked after catching your eye. You blushed and headed back inside the room to wait a few minutes.

After enough time had gone by, you headed to the party. You had to admit that being around large crowds wasn't very comfortable for you but you reminded yourself that you did it for Katie. You weren't sure where she was so you bought a drink and talked to random people. Katie came around with Andrea and Nicole so it wouldn't look suspicious for randomly coming up to talk to you. It might have looked like all five of you were talking but you and Katie were talking quietly amongst each other.

Unfortunately, it didn't last too long as she pulled away to take a few pictures with fans. Knowing Katie and how much she loved talking to fans, you stepped back to give her privacy with them.

She later found you on one of the couches talking to Melissa and Mehcad. Katie had joined in on the conversation, sitting a little too close to you. You knew people might say something but you just loved having her close to you. Katie seemed to take full advantage that you were in a public setting and enjoyed whispering in your ear what she had been wanting to do to you ever since you had picked her up at the airport. You were about to do the same but she left before you could.

Katie enjoyed every opportunity she got to whisper in your ear or give you teasing touches to make you blush. It was like she wanted to see how often she would get you to blush.

Thankfully, the party was coming to an end before you did something you would end up regretting. It was hard to resist pulling Katie in for a kiss. She had sent you a message to meet her outside so the two of you could head back to the room.

"I know it was't really a date night but I had fun."

"It was perfect. I had a lot of fun."

You wanted to hold her hand as you made your way back to the room but there were fans all around. She was stopped several times before being able to get into the elevator. Every time she was stopped, you just pretended you were part of security and guided her out when she was done.

"God. I'm exhausted. I also have an early morning tomorrow. Can't you go for me?"

"Mm, I would, but I can't. I'll be coming along with you too."

"You're right. I'm looking forward to seeing that gorgeous face in the crowd. It would help me deal with the large crowds."

She leaned in to kiss you and pulled you alongside with her to take a shower together. Nothing happened as she just pulled you in to be close to you.

Katie had been exhausted that after changing into her pajamas she fell asleep. You followed along, pulling her close to you and falling asleep.

An insistent knocking woke the two of you up. It was one of the hair and makeup people for Katie to let her know that she was late. Katie rushed out of bed to wash up and head out to the room that was specifically set up for it but not before giving you a goodbye kiss.

Since you knew that Katie wouldn't come in for almost another hour, you set an alarm for thirty minutes from now to catch up on some sleep. The extra sleep helped you be much more awake when it sounded. Katie still hadn't arrived and ordered her favorite breakfast for room service so she wouldn't go out on an empty stomach.

"You didn't?!"

"Knowing you, you would have gone without breakfast. You know how much I hate when you skip breakfast."

"I know but I don't do it on purpose. It's just easier than being late."

"Mhm. Now eat up. You have almost an hour to eat and get dressed before your first interviews."

She quickly ate breakfast while you pulled out her outfit that she had set out the night before.

"You just look absolutely divine. I almost wish you would have skipped out on the interviews. I'll meet you in the ballroom."

Katie looked really good in the suit she had picked out for the day and you just knew she picked it out on purpose. She loved to tease you any chance she could. Kissing you goodbye, she left to join her coworkers.

You wore a simple shirt that had the Supergirl emblem and some jeans along with some boots to blend in with the fans. It was much easier to dress up like the rest than wear something that would look out of place.

As promised, you met up with Katie in the ballroom. Interviews were mainly held in here so there weren't any fans. You mainly stayed near the food area and kept an eye on Katie, simply admiring her from afar. Katie took notice and would occasionally smile at you from time to time.

Once the interviews were done, she was led out of the room and led to a bus. Everyone knew who you were so they didn't say anything when you climbed in and sat besides Katie. The two of you had sat in the back and quietly talked amongst each other while everyone was distracted with what was going on around the. Before getting off of the bus, Katie pulled you in for a kiss and left with the others. You waited until everyone had come out and headed inside the yacht.

You didn't want to distract Katie during her live interviews so you stayed inside, sipping on your drink while you waited for her to finish up. An hour had passed and she had messaged you to meet her in one of the bathrooms. You rushed downstairs to meet her.

"Kat.."

Katie had pushed you against the door to kiss you roughly. You tried to talk but it was evident that Katie wanted to properly kiss you. It had been so long since the two of you had kissed longer than a few seconds. She moved down to kiss along your neck, leaving prints of her lipstick. Not wanting for anyone to listen to your moans, she covered your mouth with her hand and slipped her thigh between your legs. You moaned loudly at the sensation and before you could even move, she was already off of you and in front of the mirror to fix her lipstick.

"You have a little something there."

She motioned towards your neck before kissing you one last time and heading out. Leaving you to deal with the state she had left in. You bit your lip and debated whether or not you could do something about it but stopped when Katie sent you a messaged you that she wanted to see you outside in 2 minutes. You rushed to try to wipe off her lipstick and fix your hair, making it outside on time.

Katie gave you an innocent smile when she noticed how flustered you were. You couldn't even tell her anything as she disappeared for her next interview. All you could say about Katie was that you admired how professional she was. It was like nothing had occurred in the bathroom.

The interview had finished and they were led back to the bus with you in tow. Katie was aware of what you had in mind by sitting in the front but pulled you to sit behind the bus and began to whisper to you what she wanted to do to you after all of this was over.

At this point, Katie was just being cruel with all the teasing and she was aware of it. You watched as she walked out of the bus with a smile on her face before you walked out.

You headed towards another direction than them to make sure that no one started asking questions about you. Since she was signing and watched by many, Katie didn't want to risk it and have anyone look over as to what she was looking at. This was a nice break from the teasing looks she would give you.

The last event of the day was set to start in a few minutes so you headed to the room that the panel was being held at. You didn't bother to sit, preferring to simply stand as you watched her answer any of the questions that were being directed at her.

Finally, the day had ended and she was allowed to head back to her room. You waited for her near the hallway that was only used by actors and led her to the bus that would take you to the hotel.

Katie didn't waste anytime on fulfilling those promises from the bus and you were glad. The entire day had been pure torture.

"Shit"

"What? What happened?"

All she did was hold up her phone to show you the several messages from the cast showing tweets and pictures of the two of you.

"Maybe we weren't being too careful."

You groaned loudly seeing the several pictures of the two of you sitting and standing too close together. You were just glad no one had any pictures of the barely covered lipstick marks and the teasing smiles Katie gave you.
