《You/Katie Mcgrath and others Imagines》You/Sansa Stark - Tournament

Summary: You're part of the king's tournament.
You've always been good at everything. Swords and just about any type of weapon could be easily handled by you. This was mainly due to the fact of having to spend long hours with your father. He was a blacksmith that specialized making weapons for the rich. Most of these weapons were just made to show of their wealth but they could still be used in a fight.
Your father was really good at his job that you weren't sure why suddenly business was going down. He had a hard time making enough money to feed you and your sister that you decided that enough was enough and headed out of town in search of various way to help them out.
You were walking in no particular direction when you heard a few men talking about the tournament that the king was hosting. The mention of being paid large amounts of gold was what sparked your interest and stayed their to listen to it was about.
You needed a horse, armor and a family name that you were representing. It needed to be out there so that no one would question you and once you had everything, you made your way to King's Landing.
It was quite a long trip that you had to push your horse to travel long distances quickly. He nearly paused out from exhaustion but it was all taken care of when you arrived to sign up for the tournament.
The competition looked to be very strong and capable of handling themselves that it almost made you back out of the competition. You forced yourself to think about your starving family and signed up regardless of your chances of winning against them.
The first day was brutal, you had barely gotten out of there alive but you made it. This was when you first saw her. Sansa Stark. You smiled when you saw her starring at you in curiosity trying to figure out who you were and where you came from.

The second day, you were all patched up and the competition was much easier after being able to see how they fought. You managed to land on one of the last four spots and it made you happy. Knowing that the gold would be yours.
You had been lucky, you had never be put up against Sir Gregor Clegane. He was twice as big as you and seemed to know exactly what you were doing. With you on your knees, you closed your eyes and waited for his sword to end you.
"Stop!"
You turned to face whoever had yelled and was surprised to find it had been Sansa.
"They aren't allowed to fight. The house they are representing does not even exist and they are a girl."
Gasps were heard throughout the court as they hadn't expected a woman to be fighting in such brutal tournament.
This made the king stop and dismiss you, his guards came down to drag you to cell as he thought about what your punishment would be for breaking the law yet still managing to beat many men at it.
It hadn't even been an hour when you heard some commotion down the hall. You weren't able to see anything but you could hear someone arguing. Without able to hear anything, you figured it wasn't important enough and moved to lay down against the rock.
"Come here."
You heard a soft voice at the cell door and it made you open your eyes to see who it was.
"Lady Stark, what are you doing here."
"I said come here."
Her tone was firm and it made you listen to her instructions. She cupped your cheek and moved your head from side to side. Sansa simply nodded at the guard and opened the door for you.

"Come. I'll explain everything."
She led you to her chambers where she explained how she wanted you to be her personal guard. She didn't trust those that were assigned to her and you looked like you could very well handle yourself in a fight. You were given an armor with her sigil along with a sword. Her father threatened you that if anything happened to her that your family would pay for it dearly. You were scared and simply nodded still trying to figure out how they found out about your family.
A few days after, Ned had forced you to take her out of King's Landing after the Lannister family threatened him. You didn't hesitate to force Sansa to leave and soon found yourself making your way to the North.
The two of you had managed to reach a Stark camp late in the week. You were explaining to her what your plan was to make sure it was them but was surprised when she pulled you in for a kiss.
"Thank you for keeping me safe but I think this is the end of the road for us. My brother will keep me safe and you need to head back fo your family."
"No. My duty is to protect you."
And it was. You would give your life for her. The many day and nights you had spent with her allowed you to fall in love with her. You couldn't bare to think of being apart from her.
You knew that the two of you could never be together but the few secret kisses the two of your shared would be more than enough for you.
