Summary: You're hurt and lost in the woods. She finds you and brings you back home.

You weren't sure for how long you've been running. The last thing you could remember was being with your love and then threatened to get killed by your parents. You knew loving someone of the same gender was against the law as magic was but you didn't care. You had fallen in love and believed that nothing could happen to the two of you. She was killed in front of your eyes as she protected you. She forced you to run and you've been running ever since then.

"Gwen! Stop! There's someone there."

You could hear voices but none of them sounded familiar. All you could see was an angel and smiled in relief thinking that you had died.

"Get her on my horse. We need to take her back to the castle."

Morgana had the guards help you up on to her horse and they all rode as quickly as possible to the castle. They knew that if they wasted time that you could possibly die.

You were laid down on the softest bed you've ever felt and was thoroughly examined by someone you believed to be a physician. You were slowly waking up and began to panic as you didn't realize where you were. Screams were heard throughout the room but all you could feel was a firm hand pushing you down on the bed.

"Sweetie, please, calm down. We're only trying to help you. I won't let anything happen to you."

The voice was soothing and it calmed you enough to trust them that no harm would come to you.

"You're awake. Hold on let me help you."

You felt someone's arm around your waist to help you sit up as you slowly opened your eyes to find a dark room lit up by a few candles. Your eyes roamed around the room until you spotted who the mysterious voice belonged to.

"Thank you."

You whispered. Your throat was burning and your voice sounded harsher than it was. You were thankful when she helped you drink from the glass that was handed to you.

"Can you tell me what happened? Why were you alone in the woods?"

A headache was coming on and all you could do was lay back down and close your eyes.

"I...I don't know. I can't remember."

You lied. You knew if the truth came out that you would be killed.

She nodded and gave you a warm drink. Something must've been added to it as you felt yourself drift off.

"Sweet dreams. I promised not to let anything happen to you."
