《You/Katie Mcgrath and others Imagines》You/Melissa Benoist - Sick

Summary: You get sick and she comes to take care of you.
You were sick. You never thought it would get to this point but you weren't feeling too good anymore. At first it had started with a sore throat and soon progressed little by little. The symptoms progressed within the week. The sore throat was followed by a runny nose, coughing, a fever, muscles aches and finally being too tired.
Melissa was unaware about your illness for the beginning of it but she began to get suspicious of something when you could no longer keep your voice the same way. You were an actress not a voice actor. You knew how tight her schedule was and also knew how she would insist on coming to take of you. But things never went to plan and it didn't help that she tended to be stubborn.
"You big idiot."
You hear her from the front door. She had access to your house as you had given her a key after a few months of dating. The two of you practically lived in both houses but neither of you seemed to want to bring up asking each other to move in.
"Why would you think you could keep this away from." You were about to speak but she stopped you. "Oh no. None of that. I'm taking care of you. I've brought all the supplies I'll need to take care of you. Have you eaten anything." You shook your head and she sighed in disappoint after noticing the time. "Well it's a good thing that I'm here." She kissed the top of your head and then headed to the kitchen to prepare whatever she was going to make for you.
A few minutes later, she came back with a steaming bowl of chicken soup. You thanked her for it and began to eat as she watched you.

"What?"
"Oh nothing. I'm just thinking how you could have possibly survived without me. You're a workaholic and don't even take care of yourself."
You didn't bother to deny it because it was all true. All of your free time was spent with her and you knew that you had to work on it. You still might be young but it would slowly age you quicker.
"Oh quiet. The important thing is that you love me enough to deal with my nonsense."
"I can't argue with that. Now finish the soup and then you can take the medicine before a nap."
You were about to protest on the medicine part but the look she gave you, stopped you.
The medicine was disgusting but you managed to get it down without throwing it up and that satisfied her enough to let you sleep.
The next couple of days went the same, she cooked and made sure that you took your medicine before heading off to work later than usual.
"Good morning beautiful!"
You had woken up feeling refreshed and much better than what you were feeling a few days ago. You heard a loud groan and then felt the sheets move away from you.
"Melissa? Honey? Are you okay?"
You were worried considering that she tended to be a morning person and was usually the one who woke up earlier than you.
"I'm sick. I think you gave me what you."
She mumbled into the pillow. You leaned in to kiss her uncovered cheek and then stood up to wash up.
"Let me take care of you. I'll call into work for you and then I can make you something for breakfast so you can take your medicine."
You couldn't help but laugh as she turned around to throw you a pillow for even mentioning the medicine.

Advent of the Mindfire Mage: A Challenger's Return Story
Updates MWF, 6PM EST! Not so long ago, a story was posted on Webnovel, one that fired my imagination unlike almost anything before or since. It was known as The Challenger's Return: Rebirth of the Rainbow Mage. However, 150 chapters in, the author NightWind, who I'd personally interacted with and begun to consider a true friend, vanished from the internet without a trace. And so, I have acted upon my fervent desire to pick up his torch, to refuse to let his world that stirred such passion in me die. Read below about my own take on The Challenger's Return. Was Lheticus summoned to the Tower by chance, or by choice? Either way, with the new power he wins, he won't hesitate to burn anyone who seeks to keep him from his true love to cinders, and with a unique ability of the highest potential, he may just succeed, but he's just as likely to burn himself down. And as it turns out, the latter case may be woven into his very destiny...can that destiny be changed? And if it is, what will be the repercussions for the Tower? (You may want to read a fair amount of the original Challenger's Return before starting this, as, particularly in the early chapters, many things that are laid out in it are glossed over in this story.)
