"loki." you nodded, smiling sadly at the man standing across from you. he had encaptured your heart quicker than you wished to admit, and you were the only one who truly believed that he was brainwashed during the time he spent on earth.
the prince stayed silent, basking in your company. it had been so long since he had even seen someone that was asgardian.
you stepped forward, resting your hand on loki's shoulder and pulling him into a hug. he let in a sharp breath as he pushed his head into your shoulder, finding comfort and solace in your company.
you weren't an illusion. you were real.
