carol looked at you strangely.

"cmon, everyone who ends up at shield has a story."

you felt bad for her as you looked back at the road, turning left.

"what about you?" carol asked. "you're at shield."

you chuckled, sighing after a moment.

"but we've got around five hours until we're at the nearest hq, so we have plenty time."
