you walked down the streets of calcutta, being hired as a doctor for a small third-world town was rewarding, but very tiring when you don't have the luxuries of going home and sleeping in a five-star mattress after. you bumped into another doctor, tumbling to the ground.

"i'm so sorry!" he yelled, helping you up.

"it's fine." you looked at him. "i'm y/n."

years had passed, and you moved back to new york, you weren't that good of friends with doctor banner anyway, so there was no point in staying after you got a job offer at stark tower as an on-call doctor. as you waited for the initiation to start, you spotted a familiar face walking in, a sheepish look as he walked beside a redhead.

"bruce?"

"y/n?"

a while had passed, and after the incident of new york, you had gotten badly injured, and quit your job at stark tower. so now, you stood on the pier, watching as the water rushed back and forth. you turned around, only to see the face of tony and bruce.

"bruce, this is our new lab partner, y/n." you looked at bruce, deadpanning. "have you two already met?"
