This feels better than when I bought the entire truck and trailer with being on the open road. I still got my truck but the enclosed trailer I traded in and it knocked the price on this grain hauler to just about nothing. I didn't realize that my trailer was worth so much, but with the condition it was in alone made it show high on the market value scale and the company valued that dollar amount.

I get in the truck and look over at the copied contracts. Excitement courses through me looking at the box where they are. Tanker sits in the passenger side seat, looking around.

"Well Tanker, we will be on the road but home every night now. No more hotels or being alone all the time." I pat his head gently.

"It is the best feeling ever. Being in love and knowing we got someone special above everyone else waiting on us to come home." I smile softly.

I can't believe still that I met a person like Samantha. She knows exactly what I need to hear but never pushes me past the limit all at the same time. She has told me many times how I have helped her more than I would ever know, but it is the same for me she has saved me. I no longer survive but instead live and it is all because of Samantha.

Huh? I wonder if that could be part of the wedding vows or if we are going to stick to the basic traditional vows. Something I should see if she is wanting our own or traditional. If she wants our own, well I need to narrow down what to say because there is some many things I could say to her from just speaking from the heart.

I send a text to Samantha before pulling out of the dealership. I have already dropped the trailer I have had for years and done hooked up to my new trailer. From looking around the lot too, I may come back and buy a flat bed. It would open me up to more work for the farmers. They need grain hauler more than anything but there is things they need a flat bed for too and they loved my prices for hauling.

I just want to make sure that most of the money they earn from grain or may need for their livestock, they get more than they have to spend out. I want to make sure I am helping them and not stealing from them by having extremely high prices like they were paying.

Work as a community to help each other and not out for greed. That is the way it should be seen and done by.

Once the truck is put in park, I see everyone is still here and a guy walking up to the front door with a arm load of food. I can see Samantha put the order in just in perfect timing.

I jump out of the truck, with Tanker following. "Hey man. How much for everything?"

The guy tells me the total and I slip the cash in his hand. "Thanks."

I take the food and hit the doorbell, as a little fun for them inside. I am glad that everyone has food, Jovi needs it with working tonight and I want to treat everyone that is here.

Samantha opens the door and laughs.

"I made it just in time." I laugh.

"Let me help you with that. How did it go with getting the new trailer?"

"Went great. New trailer is hooked up and here. I can start hauling in just a few days with the farmers. They have enough grains and wanting to start in a few days. Which gives me time to oil and have the trailer serviced, just things I do."

"I get that, you want things to be up to your standards." She smiles.

She closes the door behind me and I walk to put the food on the kitchen table. "Where is Lola?" I look around.

"She is on her way back from checking the clinic." Jovi pipes up.

"Is there any animals there?" I look to them.

"Not today. But this afternoon a couple of owners are boarding their pets for trips." Jovi sighs.

That always seems like the worst for an animal, not needing to be at a vet but has to stay because the owners want to do their own thing instead. At least a vet is the best place for boarding if the owners just can't take their babies with them.

"Wait don't step in here yet!" I hear Densea.

"It is great you were able to make it over Densea." I smile and keep my back to the table.

"Oh we had to come and see things, plus give something to Samantha." A hand pats my back and see it is Gram.

"The only thing left for you guys is to pick a date for the wedding." Lola pipes up to the side.

Shit, sometimes this family needs a bell on them. The only problem with that is poor Vixen and Fluffier would try to pull the bells off of them. So...that idea is out the door.

"I would be more than happy to marry tomorrow." I smile to Samantha.

"Me too." She smiles.

"Why not? We can do that. The mums can be bought in town and I am off tomorrow. All we need is to see if this mysterious young man can come tomorrow to do the ceremony that Lola knows." Densea teases or at least I think she is.

"What about your dress though? I know that is one thing you did want." I look to Samantha.

"Gram and Mom made my dress. That is what they were making sure you couldn't see." She walks over to kiss my lightly.

"Is that what you want to get married tomorrow?" I ask her.

"Yes, it is. You're right. I don't want to wait either."

"Tomorrow it is then! He can come he doesn't have to be in work himself either. Plus, we are not dating! So please don't get any ideas. The guy had became a friend, but I think he is actually into Jovi more than he is me." Lola blushes.

Jovi raises his eyebrow. "It is Sam? If it is then you know he goes both ways."

"Yeah, it's Samual." Lola nods with a smile.

"He is a good guy. I never really thought about him." Jovi looks to Samantha.

"I hadn't seen the guy since high school, he was a couple of years behind us." She shrugs.

We all eat and the laughter never stops. I hear how Samantha wants to do the more natural wedding approach with our fenced in area and I am more than happy with that. Jovi leaves out for the clinic before the others bid us goodnight.

I make sure everything is locked for the night and make sure all the babies go out to do their thing. Samantha walks up next to me as I look out the back window watching our four fur babies play around in the yard.

"Are you excited about tomorrow?" She asks me.

"I am so ready for it, little paws. Excitement doesn't even cover it." I smile, as I wrap a arm around her.
