It seems like everything moved so fast. Excitment fills me though because this just feels like the right house and Shane feels the same with asking about the price.

The mans lawyer shows up and goes over the contract with us. I just listen and know that it is clean as where Shane is looking at it and seems calm.

"It is a clean contract." Shane nods. "Are you sure this is the price though? It seems lower than what I was expecting for all the land and the house itself."

"The price is right. My wife and I knew it wouldn't stay in the family once our children had jobs that took them out of state. We had talked long and hard about it. Together before she passed we knew that if the right couple came along this is all that we would ask for to where the new couple could have more to start their new lives together. I feel this couple is you. All I ask and like the contract states is to give me three weeks to be moved out, then the keys will be handed over to you and I get the money."

Shane smiles and holds his hand out. "We can agree to all of this, sir."

They shake hands and the man signs the papers with his lawyer, followed by Shane and myself signing together.

"I will call up my sons and let them know. They have been waiting to come help me pack and move. The time has come." The man smiles.

We thank him and walk out to the car. I feel so light and giddy, it is a dream home I never knew I wanted. Having this with Shane is everything.

"How are you feeling sweet girl?" Shane looks over with a smile before pulling out of the driveway.

"Do I really have to describe it? I feel amazing and overly happy. I have never had these feelings and everything just seems perfect and right." I rush out.

Shane laughs. "I understand that little paws. That house is so much more than I ever thought it would have been it looked even better in person. It feels like it is our home."

"It will be in less than a month! Oh, I can give you a check also to pay a small part. I can get my house up for sale and when it does, I'll give you the rest of that money. It would be a little over half but we also have to buy more furniture and other stuff." I bounce some trying to get some energy out.

"Why don't I just add you to my bank account? I don't want any of your money though. Just have you on my account to buy anything you think we need for the house." He smiles over to me shortly before focusing on the road again.

"Uh, no. I'll be putting money into your account." I sass.

We pull into a bank. "We shall see." Shane smirks.

"Oh this is the bank I use too." I smile.

"Great makes things so easy to put you on my account."

We go in and Shane is talking to one of the ladies while I grab another. I want him on my account just incase something happens.

"So we can joint the account if that is something you want?" The lady asks.

"We can, but my account now is not only personal but my practice as well." I explain.

Probably not the smartest thing but it makes things easier for me to maintain. I sign the papers for Shane and he signs mine. We each get handed cards that go with the account and we are officially on each others accounts.

"You know it seems more and more like we are a married couple." Shane smiles when we get back in the car.

"Is that a proposal?" I giggle.

"No. You will have a true proposal." Shane smirks and leans over to kiss me.

Butterflies flutter through my stomach at the thought. If he were to ask I would not even second guess my answer. Just like the necklace he gave me it has not came off other than to shower but then goes right back on.

Shane puts the car in park and I look up. "Our date shall start, little paws."

"I thought it already has." I laugh.

"Nope that was securing our future home and life. This is the start of our date." Shane smiles and gets out of the car.

"What do you think Tanker? Did you like the home you will have soon too?" I look over at him and he puts his head on my shoulder.

"Shane and you are the best thing that has came into my life. I am sad you needed my help to make sure you were okay at first, but you needing me is the best thing that has ever happened in my life. Other than when I got Oreo and Fluffier. Don't tell them that though, I love my babies too, your brothers." I smile at him and he licks my cheek lightly.

My door opens and Shane holds a hand out to me.

"Thank you." I smile.

"Having a heart to heart there." Shane chuckles.

"Well yes we were." I smile big, as I step out and Tanker follows. He has his vest on since we left Gram's house this morning.

"I know it is early but I think a nice lunch is in order, since neither of us have ate today yet." Shane holds my hand and opens the door for me to enter first.

"Table for two?" The hostess ask.

"Yes." Shane nods slightly.

We are showed to our table and Tanker gets in under instantly, laying on Shane's feet.

"Your waiter will be along momentarily." The hostess smiles and walks off, after laying down menus in front of us.

The waiter comes up and takes our drink order. There is a small bit of silence as we look over the menus.

"I am beyond happy we are where we are today. I love you so much Samantha." Shane smiles and takes my hand across the table.

I smile at our hands connected and look up at him. "I love you Shane. You're the only man I ever want in my life for love like I feel for you."
