Shane is doing things to me that I have never felt before and he has just about broke the barrier around my heart. I can feel things for him but it is all confusing, from the way he has treated me to the sweet nickname he came up with.

His explaination of the nickname tells me he has taken the time to truly think of the right little name. It is something he has for me that no one else does and I wouldn't let anyone else call me little paws but him.

While he was making sure I had the best orgasm of my entire life, I felt down his body. For me there is a huge part that hurts for him because the things I felt over his torso makes me wonder what happened with the extent I felt. At some point, I hope he shares his story with me and I can feel myself sharing with him rather quickly also.

Now his package I felt through his jeans has me heating up again. Shane is definitely packing in that department from just the feel alone. I can guarantee he is larger than any man or piece of rubber I have touched or used. It would not surprise me if I ever get that time with him that he won't split me in two.

I dress quickly and step out of the room, just in time to catch what he tells Tanker about me neutering him if he was to hump my leg. I cover my mouth but a little sound comes out still.

Shane stands up straighter and smiles to me. "Ready?"

I nod and make sure everything is picked up of mine. I can tell that Shane has already changed and done cleaned his things up too.

"The time of day it is now, the taxi's will be moving so we won't have to order one." Shane smiles while placing a hand on my lower back to guide me.

It honestly makes me feel safe being this close to him. Plus, I love the smell of his cologne it is not overly strong but just a pleasant scent.

"So tell me something I don't know." I snap out of it before I keep smelling him, as we get into the elevator.

"Uh. Bananas are radioactive." Shane looks confused.

I can't help but laugh. "What? Where did that come from?"

"You wanted me to tell you something you didn't know. That was the first thing that came to mind." Shane smiles and shrugs.

I finally get my laughing to stop and take a deep breath.

"I meant about the truck and if I have to do anything. Although, that is an interesting fact about bananas."

"Oh!" Shane chuckles. "Well I spend a lot my free time reading. As for the truck, there isn't nothing for you to do but sit and enjoy the ride."

My mind just took a way different turn. My cheeks start to feel warm and my core throbs slightly.

"That came out all wrong." Shane shakes his head.

At least we are in the same mind space at the moment. I like this though the laughing between us and how things come so easily with talking. It feels as natural as breathing.

I wonder if what Gram's said growing up is true or could be. 'The love of your life should always be a best friend.' I can see different things she said don't seem fair fetched like I have thought of for years.

Shane waves his hand and a taxi pulls over, we get back to the truck and Shane unlocks the doors. He once again stands behind me and has a hand on my back as I climb up into the seat. This time though I got right into the passenger side. When the other door opens, Tanker jumps up a moment later and nudges through the curtain that is closed, with Shane coming in next and closing his door.

I watch with faniscation as he turns a key before pressing a button for the engine to start. Right after, Shane turns and pulls the rug type curtain back and I can see inside the sleeper now. There is a bed there and made up but it seems small. Along with a small cubby type thing where there are a few books on the top shelf and clothes hanging on hangers underneath, before a duffel bag sits on the floor under.

This truck is larger than I thought it actually was. It is like a mini apartment in this thing. Well minus the bathroom and kitchen but it is like a mini bedroom. I even spot a small trash can and cooler that is right behind my seat.

"Wow." I whisper.

Shane chuckles at my reaction. "This truck is pretty much home."

"You don't have an house or apartment somewhere?" I couldn't help but ask.

"No, other than this truck I have a storage building. Which is just a couple of towns over from Blue Sky's actually, where my parents still live." He sighs lightly.

"So what now with the truck?" I smile because I want to get his mind off of where ever it is and much prefer his smile.

"Uh, the air pressure is coming up to where we can take off in a few minutes. After that, I have to stop by the truck stop for diesel and us some breakfast." Shane looks over at me and smirks.

"I am ready for it all." I laugh.

"Give me one moment, I have to check the tires, trailer lines, and make sure the padlock hasn't been mess with on the back." Shane opens the door and gets out. Tanker stays sitting on the bed on his hind legs just looking out the front window.

I grab my phone from my purse, and get online to cancel my flight. There are warnings about the weather and it hits me, Shane was telling me the truth. Not that I didn't trust him since I agreed to come with him this way instead of just looking and trying to rebook a flight.

Something clicks and I can tell just how easily I have trusted him since meeting him.

There is a moment where I feel light and giddy. Something changes and I can tell the last part of the barrier I have held around my heart crumbles into nothing, all because of Shane. It is not something I am mad about but am positively happy it is him and how right Gram was.
