《Taking My Heart (Completed)》13. Teasing

I am utterly amazed by the feeling of Samantha's lips on mine. Her lips are like an angel made them, and they are also so devilish with how sinful she taste.

All to soon Samantha pulls back and covers her mouth in shock. As for her eyes they are wide and seems like she was caught up in the same trance I was in.

I can't help but smirk and chuckle, barely able to hide how it truly affected me. Something not easy for being a guy with a second head that likes to make itself known. Probably a good thing she pulled back because my self will didn't exist with her lips on mine.

"I am so sorry." She gasps.

I chuckle lowly. "What if I'm not? That was not my plan for a surprise hello but I'll sure take it."

"It is a surprise you're here." Samantha gives me a smile.

Tanker steps up from where he stood behind me. His tail wagging, as his tongue hangs out of his mouth.

"Hi, Tanker. Don't you look all dressed up with your vest on this time." Samantha squats down, and her face lights up even more.

"With his greeting it makes it hard to say which one you like more." I can't help but smirk.

Samantha's hands come out and Tanker nudges her wanting to be petted rather than sniff her. Her hands move to pet down his fur but I watch as she is actually checking him over where he had injuries. If not for watching closely I wouldn't have caught it with how good she is at showing affection at the same time as checking him over.

After a few more seconds of her petting on Tanker, Samantha stands up. Oreo and Fluffier have been sitting right by Tanker the entire time. It amazes me how they don't get jealous with her attention being on another animal and not them. Like they know their person is making sure another one is healthy.

"So you didn't really say anything when I said it was a surprise seeing you here." Samantha narrows her eyes, but it just makes her look overly cute.

I choke back my laugh. "It was Lola that rang me up with the offer. The normal company you guys used was booked up for the next few weeks." I explain and it seems like something clicks.

"I faintly remember her saying something about that. It was one of the busy days and I just asked if she could call someone to do it because we were dangerously low on several things." Samantha slowly nods.

"When she called and explained, I took it instantly. She had said that her and Jovi wouldn't tell you as a surprise, along with some laughing on her end. I guess she got my number from the papers I had done." I shrug.

Honestly when I got the call, I had thought it was Samantha calling me again. This was even better though because I could physically see her and not just hear her voice.

There is something about this woman that has me pulled to her. Without her even knowing it, she has also seemed to chase away the negative I've had for so many years. At least when I think about her I feel at peace. Something I feel wrong about all at the same time.

It's not like I've jerked off to her images. Yet. Trust me I want to but feels wrong to damage the whole part of her image and how she makes me feel total and at peace to do something like that.

"Thank you for delivering it all to us." Her smiles warm my heart.

Then there is that again. What is it with my heart and this woman?

"It's the least I can do after all the things you done for Tanker and I." I smile warmly back.

"Wait. Lola said cheap. You didn't cut your price down for this did you?" Samantha looks like she is trying to analyze the answer out of me.

I shrug once more and walk to the back. Hearing her movement following behind me. The others are at the cabinets and placing things inside.

Samantha walks to the door and points. I follow her now and we step outside, with Tanker being the caboose for the little train following the marvelous woman.

"Shane, I done your pricing fair and because I truly didn't do much for Tanker other then some x-rays. Please tell me you didn't do this to where it was barely anything."

"Alright it wasn't for barely anything." I smirk.

The door opens and Lola sticks her head out.

"Hey sis, I am going to head out for the day and go see Gram. Everything is put up. Jovi is asking on who is staying tonight." Lola smiles softly.

"Let him know I will please." Samantha smiles back.

Lola closes the door back. We stand in silence until a couple of doors close and the sound of two vehicles taking off.

"How much do we actually owe you?" Samantha is the first to speak up again.

"Nothing more. Call it even." I rub my cheek watching as she seems to be in thought now.

I can't help but look at her lips.

"Still thinking about that kiss." Her voice brings me out of the daze.

"That was a peck not how a real kiss is." I laugh.

I wonder if she will catch on or not, but I am teasing her some. Something about her being a little flustered stirs alot up in me and she is cute. Okay, well she is flat out drop dead gorgeous not just cute.

"To me that was a kiss not just a peck. Especially considering we were like that for several seconds, not just a tap and go." She smirks.

Oh, she has some sass to her no doubt now.

"Woman I'll show you what a real kiss is like. Unless you rather agree with me on earlier being a peck."

"I stand by what I call it and it was a full kiss." Samantha looks up at me.

Screw it.

I take the one step that was left between us, as my hands cup her face. My lips descend on hers with our bodies pressed close together.

Everything in me is put into this kiss now with Samantha, with my nibbling on her lip waiting for to granted me access.

No sooner than her lips part, my tongue dives in. Wanting to taste her as much as I can.

Her hands come up and wrap around my neck. She lightly tugs at the end of my hair as our tongues dance together.

Much to soon, I pull back from the kiss to give us the much needed oxygen back in our lungs. Looking at her face, I can tell this kiss affected her just like it did me in the best of ways.

"You win, because that sure is one hell of a kiss you got there." Her voice comes out dreamy sounding.

It boost something inside me that I can make her feel this way. There is something there that tells me she normally is closed off with how she tends to be and from the way she has worded things.

Reality hits me hard. A punch in the gut would feel no different, as I can tell where the sun is in the afternoon sky to know I have to go.

"I am so incredibly sorry Samantha, but Tanker and I have to get going. We have a shipment to pick up by nine tonight." I sigh wishing for once I didn't have a load to haul just to give me more time with her before having to leave.

"I understand, it is how you make a living." Samantha smiles and seems like she wants to say more but doesn't.

"Could I possibly call you? I hate to kiss and have to run, I got carried away and didn't mean too. Please don't think I came just for that. It honestly surprises me I'm like this with it being awhile since well." I couldn't even form the words.

Samantha's smile grows. "I would like that very much. I'm the same with all of this it isn't like me but you have somehow broke down my barrier some."

Her words pain me that someone so sweet would have or need a reason to have a barrier.
