That giant wolf got nearer and nearer making Taehyung shake in fear.

He was a sweating mess. He was praying for Jungkook or anyone to come and save him. He was frozen on his spot, his brain wasn't commanding him to move so he was waiting for the gaint wolf to take his life.

When the gaint wolf was exactly infront of him he let out a loud scream.

"NOOOO! SOMEONE HELP ME! "

The giant wolf growled in return which was so scaring for Taehyung that he became unconscious and his body collided with the floor.

Jungkook was running as fast as he could when he saw that rogue wolf was heading towards his home where his mate was all alone. He was cursing himself for not taking Taehyung into a safe place. He used all his strength to catch the wolf. Jungkook was one of the strongest wolves for sure but unfortunately he wasn't the fastest. Like, every human or wolf he wasn't perfect either.

Finally Jungkook reached his home. But the scenery infront of him made his blood boiled. That rogue wolf was hovering over something which he was sure was a person and that person was his mate, he knew his mate's smell very well.

Jungkook roared as a result the rogue wolf turned his attention from unconscious Taehyung to Jungkook.

That wolf knew he wasn't able to hurt Jeon Jungkook, one of the strongest wolf but he could hurt the unconscious human infront of him who seemed to be very precious to Jeon.

So, the wolf again turned its attention to Taehyung but before he could do something Jungkook hovered over him. Jungkook bit the neck of the wolf as a result it winched loudly.

Jungkook's wolf grey used it's paws to attack the weak rogue wolf who tried to hurt his precious mate.

With his all strength he tore the wolf into two pieces. He cut off the head of the rogue wolf. Blood was all over his wolf form and some also splashed into Taehyung's limp body.

Jungkook finally returned to his human self and checked on Taehyung.

"Taehyung! Taehyung! "Jungkook screamed his mate's name. He tried to find any injuries but he felt relieved when he realised Taehyung wasn't hurt in any way. But he was still unconscious which made Jungkook worried.

"Hyung, leave everything! I don't care what's happening but come home now! Taehyung is unconscious "Jungkook mind linked Namjoon, the pack doctor using his alpha tone to emphasis how serious he and the situation were.

Jungkook carried Taehyung bridal style and brought him to his room, which was apparently, Taehyung's room now.

He washed away the blood from his body and quickly put on some sweatpants to cover his manhood and a t-shirt before moping away blood from Taehyung's body.

"Hyung! Please see what happened to him! "Jungkook worriedly said when he saw Namjoon entering the room accompanied by Jimin and Jin.

Jimin took big steps to see his newly founded best friend. He was worried sick too. Taehyung was a sweet kid who didn't deserve any of these shits.

Namjoon examined Taehyung for a few minutes. He was about to say something about the boy's condition but he got cut off by three worried voices

"Is he alright? "Jungkook, Jimin and Jin asked in union

"Yes, he is. He was probably very scared and that's why he lost consciousness. He will be up in a few hours. I have injected him the medicine. "

Three of them sighed a relieved sigh.

"Wait! You injected him medicine? Wolf medicine?"Jin asked looking very worried.

"You think I'm a fool? Come on, you know I studied about both wolf and human body! "Namjoon exclaimed because he couldn't believe his mate would ask something that stupid when his iq level was higher than everyone else in the pack .

Jungkook sat beside Taehyung, who was laying on the bed.

"I'm so sorry, love. You had to face this because of me. But I promise you, I will always protect you , always"Jungkook said before kissing Taehyung's forehead. Maybe he also shed some tears but he didn't want his pack to see him crying so he tried to hold himself back. But, it was hard watching his mate laying unconscious and that also because of his fault.

"Don't be a cry baby now! He will be alright soon"Jimin teased wanting to brighten up the mood a little .

"Shut up! Who is crying here?"Jungkook dramatically yelled .

"A little bunny"Jin butted in .

"Hyung! Don't call me that!"Jungkook whinned like a kid.

"Guys! Continue your bickering somewhere else. Right now Taehyung has to rest here"Namjoon said getting all of their attention.

"How is your mate , son? Jungkook's father asked. He was hurt himself but he wasn't worried about him because he was a wolf and his wound would heal quickly but his son's mate was a mere human.

"He is alright but he is really scared."His dad nodded his head.

"Dad, I have something to say"Jungkook hesitated a bit.

"Go ahead son"

"Don't tell Taehyung about our kind. He doesn't know anything, yet"

"What are you talking about? How will you complete the mating session when he doesn't even know that you are not a mere human like him?"

"Dad, I know you want me to be Alpha as soon as possible.but You get to understand. He isn't ready yet! Just a few moments ago he was attacked by a wolf. Now,if he knows that I'm one of them, he will be scared of me. And he will hate me. Never love me , again!"

Thinking about his mate hating him broke his heart already. He was surely cold outside but he had a very soft heart. It was specially very soft for his mate

"You have a point but you have to tell him about us really soon. You don't know when something happenes to me ! You can't be alpha if you don't get mated !"His father said in a very worried and serious tone.

"What? What will happen to you? What are you trying to say dad?"Jungkook began to ask his father questions non stop.

"Stop, son. I said if something happenes to me .I'm old now. I have to give your mom company in heaven soon"His father shrugged.

"You sure?"Jungkook raised an eyebrow

"About what?"

"That you will give mom company in heaven when hell isn't fully occupied yet"Jungkook joked and got a playful smack as a result.

"That's not how you talk to your father, you insolent child!"

"Yeah , yeah"Jungkook said while waving his hands at his dad.

He left his dad's office and headed towards his own home , to his mate. Jimin and Jin were there as well.

But he felt something odd. like his father wasn't joking, he was serious about something happening to him.
