Eunji couldn't focus on her teacher's voice any longer as she started to look around the classroom.

Unconsciously her gaze stopped at the boy next to her who seemed just as bored as she was.

"What?" He mouthed to her when their gazes met.

"Nothing." She whispered back.

"Then stop staring."

Eunji was offended, looking away immediately.

But she still caught the smile that was on his lips before she turned away.

Now that she thought about it Jungwon stopped having that cold aura surrounding him.

At least in her eyes.

He was smiling a lot more and despite the physical coldness she was feeling, he was warmer and more friendly than he used to be.

The first impression can be deceiving after all.

"Can I steal Eunji for a short moment?" Youngmin immediately asked Jungwon who was still surprised at the bewildering question. The lessen had just ended.

"I—"

Not waiting to fully hear his answer, she dragged her dear friend with her, "What's going on?" Youngmin squealed the moment they were out of the boy's vision, squeezing her friend's arm.

"What do you mean?" Eunji tilted her head in confusion, trying to escape Youngmin's strong grip.

"You and Jungwon! What is going on between the two of you?"

"Nothing."

"Nothing?"

"Yes, nothing."

"Are you sure it's nothing?"

"Jungwon is not boyfriend." Eunji chuckled, trying to shake off the fluttering feeling that was starting to lay out inside her. "At least not yet—" She added with a grin, causing her friend to let out another squeal.

Youngmin hit Eunji's shoulder and was now a giggling mess like she usually was whenever there was something heartfluttering going on, "Ah, I'm getting goosebumps...You are so cool, Eunji. I thought I had to listen to your sob stories forever..."

"The way I hate you." Eunji slightly pushed her away, giggling while doing so.

After a very intellectual and knowledgeable conversation about relationships and their future, Eunji and Youngmin decided to return to their classroom, before the break would come to an end.

To Eunji's surprise, she saw another classmate of hers sitting on her seat, while talking to Jungwon.

A rather unusual sight, but she somehow felt proud that he was ready to make more friends.

"Hi." Eunji approached them with a smile.

Aurora, the said classmate, looked at her with a surprised expression before smiling back.

For some reason Eunji hasn't really spoken with Aurora yet. Maybe it was because of the fact that Aurora was transferred to this school not too long ago, meaning that she didn't have the opportunity to make many friends.

Still, everyone liked her.

Or maybe it was because of the other's shyness? Eunji wasn't sure. But she knew that Aurora was incredibly nice.

"Hey." She spoke softly, making Eunji smile contentedly.

Jungwon didn't answer and continued to look at the girl in front of him, Aurora, making Eunji look at him confused.

"Uh, did I...interrupt something?" The girl asked when Aurora shook her head vigorously.

"N-No, you didn't—"

Eunji couldn't help but chuckle at the other girl's nervousness. For some reason she reminded her of Jungwon, "That's good then. I'm sorry for disturbing your conversation."

"No, it's fine. Really." Aurora smiled again, pushing up her glasses, "I should go back to my seat..."

And that's when the lesson started, making Eunji sigh in relief as she finally got her seat back, "God, that was awkward. I really have to work on my social skills."

"Another group work?" The girl exclaimed in surprise after the teacher had greeted the class, while she was looking at the digital screen in excitement.

Turning around to Jungwon, she was just about to ask him to be her partner again. After all it went pretty good the last time they worked together and their results were surprisingly good as well.

Eunji looked at him in confusion, "Jungwon?" He wasn't staring straight ahead like he normally would.

Jungwon was looking at Aurora who was unsurely looking around for a partner.

"Ah, that's what I wanted to ask you anyway. What were you two talking about?" Eunji wiggled her eyebrows, elbowing the boy next to her in a teasing manner, "Badmouthing me?"

"No." He replied simply, looking at her, "She just sat down on your seat without a word. Right when she was about to say something, you interrupted her."

"Oh." Guilt was written all over Eunji's face, "Sorry."

"I'm sure it wasn't important."

Eunji looked down, feeling bad.

She was the one who ruined his opportunity to finally make new friends.

"Go find out if it was important or not." She whispered to him, nudging his side with a small smile, "Go work with her. Aurora seems to like you. Go already."

Aurora, who had sensed his lingering gaze on her, suddenly turned around and approached him with fast steps. Shyly, she turned away, "Jungwon...Do you want to work with me?"

The boy on the other hand, turned to look at Eunji.

His eyes had an indefinable look that the girl couldn't distinguish.

It was as if he was asking her for permission.

"Go. It's alright." Eunji mouthed and winked at him, singalling him to answer Aurora.

"Let's meet during the break again." Jungwon nodded, standing up without another word while she watched him in silence.

Looking around herself, she saw Heeseung who was busy looking at his phone in secret while leaning back on his chair casually.

He didn't seem to care about the group work at all.

A smile started creeping up the girl's face.

Perfect.

"Let's work together." She walked up to the boy with fast steps, making him look up from his phone.

It didn't take him a lot of convincing, "Sure."

So the two of them decided to ditch the group work and spend the lesson hanging around instead.

"It's been a while since we last talked." Heeseung stated, putting down his phone as the girl did the same.

He was right. They used to be a lot closer in the past, but somehow drifted apart in the process of growing up. It all happened naturally.

"You are right." Eunji nodded, noticing how she had known Heeseung for at least 5 years now, "Maybe it's because you got addicted to playing video games."

"And you got addicted to Jungwon."

"Shut the fuck up." Eunji quickly cut him up, while he just chuckled, "Why does everyone know about that? It's fucking embarrassing."

"Because you are so obvious."

"Well, that obvious Eunji is going to stop now." She joined his chuckling. That's when something came to her mind, "You used to be his seat mate, right? How was he?"

"You mean Jungwon?"

"Yeah."

"He's smart." The older nodded thoughtfully, "And neat. Surprisingly cute."

The girl smirked, nudging the other's shoulder, "Cute? Is there something you want to tell me?"

"I'm not here to steal what's yours." Heeseung raised both of his hands in defeat.

"Speaking of the devil."

Eunji's automatically turned around, as her eyes widened.

"Let's go." The girl took the boy's arm and pulled him downwards, so they would be hidden behind a bush.

Right now, Jungwon and Aurora were walking towards a bench not far from Heeseung and her.

And for some reason, she felt the urge to hide.

"What are you doing?" Heeseung whispered as she shut him up, "Do you want to spy on them?"

"No." Eunji exclaimed in annoyance, not knowing herself why she was hiding.

Heeseung looked at the other pair in surprise, "Woah, look at them actually working on this group task."

Eunji followed his actions as her eyes widened as well. Aurora was holding up a flower with a wide smile, while Jungwon was drawing her.

Right. They were having art class right now.

Was he good at drawing? Eunji asked herself, feeling a pang go right through her heart, when Jungwon reached forward to take a flower petal out of the other girl's hair.

"Are we in a romance drama right now?" Heeseung mumbled next to her before Eunji pushed his side playfully.

Eunji was trying to laugh it off, but for some reason she couldn't take off her eyes of the pair in front of her.

Heeseung was right. It was quite romantic, even in her eyes.

"Let's not be creeps and leave." Eunji sighed after a while and stood up abruptly, while the boy next to her jumped up as well.

"You were the one who wanted to hide."

"I know." The girl looked down, "Let's...just go back. It's not like we are working anyway."

"Are you jealous?" The male raised an eyebrow, while laughing.

"As if..."
