Danger? What was he talking about?
"I'm calling you an ambulance." I blurted out, shaking my head vigorously as if he could see me through the door, "You don't seem to be yourself right now."
"I'm serious."
"I am too! Why the hell would I trust you after the thing you pulled at school?" I scoffed, as I fully opened the door, causing Jungwon to stumble back slightly.
We were both surprised at how close we were standing to each other.
I was now facing him.
And he was facing me.
"You know what? Now that you are here, I'm reminded that you are the one who got me in this situation in the first place."
That pettiness of mine.
"I'm sorry." Jungwon avoided my gaze, "for the things happening to you, really."
He continued, "But I meant it. There's someone who's a threat to your safety."
"And what is it to you?" My voice sounded strange all of a sudden.
"Sorry?" His striking eyes widened.
"Why would you care about my safety? Jungwon, we haven't even reached the stage of being friends yet." I couldn't help, but narrow my eyes slightly, "What is it to you if I were in danger or not?"
Jungwon's eyes started shaking for a short moment, before he looked up again. His eyes turned cold as usually.
"I care."
"Sorry?"
"Just like anyone else would, I'm trying to help you out." His voice was quieter, lower. Like a small child not wanting to admit any of his wrongdoings. He seemed flustered, looking to the side as if he wasn't used to situations like these either, "Everybody would have done the same thing."
This time I wasn't fazed.
"Of course." I shrugged, scoffing shortly, "I'm going to leave now. Thanks." I grabbed the folders from his arms, as he was obviously taken aback.

"I—" His voice trailed off, his eyes directing to the ground.
"But Jungwon..." I stopped in my tracks, before disappearing completely behind the door to my house.
The boy in front of me looked up, curiosity and attentiveness written across his face.
"You are right. I am exactly the type of person to ignore the lines and overstep boundaries of other people" I couldn't help but smile, "You should prepare yourself...
I won't let you get away with this."
"Revenge? Are you crazy?" Youngmin couldn't leave Eunji's side for the whole day, now that she was back again, "I thought we were more mature than that."
"Stop making fun of me." Eunji glared at her friend slightly, "You should be glad I'm back instead."
"I'm glad." Her friend tilted her head, "That I'm not the one with the worst grades in our class anymore."
Eunji groaned, "You are almost as irritating as Jungwon."
"Look at you mentioning his name again." Youngmin laughed, "Admit it. This whole revenge thing is your excuse to be close to him."
"Shut up, you know it's not true." Eunji glared, massaging her temples, "He's been irritating and confusing me for so long now. I'm done with all the shit he has been pulling."
"I didn't know you were that tough~"
"I'm going to put an end on my crush on him. Just wait and see."
Youngmin pretended to shudder, standing up, "I need to grab myself a snack, you are starting to scare me."
"I'm going with you—"
"No!" She quickly shook her head, "Don't ruin my date, Eunji. Stay put and continue developing a plan for your revenge."
_
Eunji kicked a few stones around, pouting unconsciously to herself as she walking around the school yard. Things were becoming too boring after Youngmin abandoned her and she decided to get some fresh air.

Now that her rooftop spot was gone the only option was the crowded school yard.
"Fuck everyone who is on a date right now." Eunji mumbled to herself, feeling her single heart sink.
She crotched down, taking a tree branch into her hand before drawing a square into the loose, earthy ground.
Writing in big, capital letters the word "PLAN" on top of her doodles, she smiled proudly to herself.
Her plan to get revenge on Jungwon was finally coming together.
"The only thing left for me is to find him." Eunji smiled sinisterly, crossing her arms in satisfaction.
12 minutes till her next lesson would start again.
The girl started running around the school, from her classroom, through the hallways till she reached the cafeteria.
But the only thing she could find was her friend Youngmin and Sunghoon flirting with each other as they shared a cheesecake together.
Eunji rolled her eyes, running off again.
"I guess I have to continue my plan tomorrow." She pouted again, feeling discouraged at all the bad luck surrounding her lately. Only 3 minutes were left before her break would end and Jungwon was nowhere to be found.
Just when she was about to walk past the school garden, she faintly heard two familiar voices.
"You...You monster!"
She was able to hear, but the rest was too muffled.
If the girl was honest, she wanted to just ignore the voice and turn around to leave again, but the next moment her ears perked up at the sound of his name.
"Jungwon!"
Eunji shut her eyes closed, knowing that eavesdropping would go against her morals, but the curiosity was killing her.
Peeking behind the corner, her breath stopped at the sight of the person she has been looking for and another student from her class.
Jungwon was grabbing the other's collar tightly till his knuckles were turning white. His eyes were bloodshot red and his teeth were gritted tightly, as the boy underneath him trembled in fear. Eunji recognised him. It was Kyong. A classmate whom she never really talked to.
As weird as it sounded, Jungwon didn't look like Jungwon. He didn't look like himself.
In fact, Eunji could have sworn he looked like he wasn't out of this world for a split second.
And the scene taking place in front her didn't seem like any ordinary school fight either.
At first she thought it was because of his bloody eyes, his gritted teeth and fierce gaze.
Or maybe it was the way Jungwon lifted up the other effortlessly and how he looked like he was about to actually hurt the other.
Maybe it was all of the above, she didn't know.
Her mind was too crowded with the most frightening thoughts, as she tried to collect herself.
What the fuck is going on?
Eunji's blood froze at the sudden coldness taking over her mind and body, as she covered her mouth to not make any sound.
The girl couldn't believe her eyes, ears or any of her other senses, as a gasp left her lips.
Did she just see fangs—?!

The Mischievous Mrs. Maxfield
***The wrong girl is sometimes The Right One.*** Charlotte Samuels thought she'd be stuck waiting tables at Marlow's until all her debts are paid off-in about ten thousand years or so. She definitely didn't expect a marriage proposal from the arrogant Brandon Maxfield who was blackmailed by his father to make her his wife if he didn't want his least favorite cousin to run Maxfield Industries. Charlotte's instinct was to say HELL NO! but she's stumped by a few obstacles: 1.) His old man Martin Maxfield is dear to her heart and has been recently deteriorating in health. 2.) She gets a million dollars if she stays married to Brandon for a year. 3.) She would rather like the opportunity to teach the attractive but awfully rude man a few lessons he didn't think he needed from a 'teenage gold-digger' which was his term of endearment for her on their first date-er, business meeting. So what's a girl got to do, right? Sure, she's young and a little rough around the edges but there's something her would-be husband didn't know about her yet-she's nothing like he ever expected. Thrust into the glitzy world a standard-issue Mrs. Maxfield would fit perfectly and rule with impeccable social grace, Charlotte will either have to force herself into the mold or break free of it, risking what little she has left for everything that she can gain.*** Copyright © 2014 by Nina Tippett.
