I little girl was running through the streets of Tokyo Japan,trying to get away from her abusive father who was chasing her. She was tired out of her mind,the snow on her bare feet not helping. Y/n l/n, the poor child could do nothing but run away from her problems,pedestrians were glancing at the girl with curiosity. Y/n wasn't paying attention to her surroundings so she had bumped into someone's or something's back,

Kaigaku the new upper 6 demon.

Y/n's pov:

As I was running a sudden back fabric had blocked my vision entirely,but then I realized it was a man,he turned around with an irritated face.

"What the hell is wrong with you can't you see I'm fuc-!"

He stopped mid sentence and looked down at me,softening his expression.

"I apologize for my sudden outburst,are you okay?"

He crouches down so we are face to face.

"I need s-safty.."

I studder as my heart beat gets louder by the second.

"Well then follow me, we're in the middle of the street and I would rather talk with some privacy!"

He exclaimed as he got up,walking towards an alley way. I follow him into it.

"So,why are you all bruised and cut up like that?"

He asked boldly, crossing his arms already getting frustrated on who could've done this.

"It was my dad"

His eyes widened in disbelief.

"Tsk, what a scumbag!"

He exclaimed with venom in his voice,I was about to reply when I saw him walk over to us. The man looked at my father with disgusted.

"So,you're the one who hurt this kid?"

The black haired male walked torward the man.

"Yeah,so what!?"

He said as the man reached out for his sword on his back.

"You worthless humans always are able to get on my nerves somehow."

My dads face turned red and ran up to the man.

"WHAT DID YOU SAY TO ME YOU BASTE-"

before he could finish his sentence his head was on the floor and blood was everywhere.

"Tsk, I hate people like him who think their the best when clearly us demons are superior!"

He said to himself as he puts back his sword. He looks at me and approaches.

"I'm sorry if I scared you,kid"

My eyes sparkle.

"A-are you kidding, you saved me!"

My eyes started to water as I run up to him and hug him tightly.

"Hey what are you doing,get off of me!"

He shouted but then after some struggling he gave in and hugged back.

"Oh what the heck,get on my back you're going on a free piggyback ride tonight!"

He exclaimed and then picked me up in the air with a big smile on his face.

"Yay! Thank you um..."

"Hm?"

"I never got you're name?"

"Kaigaku but if you want you can call me father..."

He said and then put me on the ground.

"Oh ok, I'm y/n!"

"Its good to meet a human such as yourself, y/n"
