I was sitting on the breakfast nook eating my double chocolate fudge cookies when I heard someone screaming.

"MOMMY! HELP!"

I immediately saw Gabriel running looking frantically in every direction. When he saw me his eyes lighten and he immediately runs to me.

I don't know why but when I saw him coming towards me I instinctively grab the Jar of my cookies and runaway.

"No!" I shouts. I run as fast as I could away from Gabriel.

"Mommy where are you going!" I heard Gabriel shouts.

"You're going to steal my cookies! Mine!" I shouted back.

Both of us are now running around the house.

"No!! I will not steal that!"

"Liar! You are my son! I know you will!"

"Are we playing tag? Who's it?"

I look back and saw Grey, Jay and Parker looking at us bewildered on why are we running.

I saw Jay grin widely and excitedly say "Now I get it! We need to catch mommy!"

Jay and Parker throw their bags then started to run with us while Grey carefully place his bag on the couch and lazily follow us.

Jeezus! I have more cookie thief following me! Why they are chasing me?!

I heard the voice of Ameera.

"Are we playing?" I did not hear their reply but I bet she is also chasing after me.

I look back and I am right. I saw Ameera sitting on Grey's shoulder and She was urging him to run faster.

After another round of circling the living room. I stop because I am so exhausted but I did not let go of my cookie Jar. Suddenly I hear the voice of Gideon.

"GABRIEL!"

All our eyes widen and frantically looking from any place we can hide.

We look at each other and immediately dash toward the pantry.

While we are running towards the pantry I saw one of the MIB patrolling the Area.

"You!" I shouted.

The MIB stops and became immediately alert.

"Detain Gideon!" The lone MIB nodded.

And my Children and I dash to our massive pantry. When all of us are safely inside Grey immediately lock the door

All of us slump on the floor panting.

"The game is already finished?" Ameera asked.

"We are playing?" I answer her question with another question.

Go me.

"We win right?" Jamison excitedly ask.

Grey just pat Jamisons head and Jamison in return beam at him.

I look at Gabriel and he is still panting.

"Why are you chasing me Gabby?"

Gabriel looks up and smile sheepishly.

"You see Mommy uhmm."

Gabriel scratch his head and look at Grey and Parker for help.

Grey impassively stare at Gabriel while expertly rebraiding the hair of Ameera while Parker rolls his eyes and proceeds to eat the snack that he opens without us knowing.

"You see mommy-" Gabriel was cut off when we hear the voice of Gideon outside the pantry.

We stop breathing when we hear a commotion outside.

"What the fuck are you doing! Why are you on my way?"

Gideon exclaimed.

"Sir. We can not let you pass."

"Why? This is my house!"

I nodded at Grey and he quietly unlocks the door and opened it a little just enough for us to see what was happenning outside.

We all peek and see Gideon standing wide legs apart and arms crossed to his chest while glaring at the 10 MIB' s who are barricading the pantry.

"Please sir. We don't want to use any force."

From here I can see Gideon's expression darkened and with the blink of an eye the MIB in front of him was on the floor groaning in pain.

At the same time all MIB run towards Gideon. They'll gonna kill him!

I said Detain not Kill!

I was shock when Gideon expertly dodge and incapacitate the MIB's without any effort. Frankly he looks bored out of his mind.

When all of the MIB's are on the floor he dust his hands on his pants and looks directly to my eyes.

I squeak and told Grey to close the door immediately but we are too late.

Gideon already grabbed the door and open it widely.

All of us stare at him and we all smile sheepishly except for Grey who can not be bothered and Parker who was still munching on his snacks.

"You want some daddy?" Parker godbless him offered Gideon his snack.

Gideon expression melted. He look at Parker and smile "Thank you honey."

Gideon transfer his gaze at us again and all of our breath hitch.

Gideon blocked the door and cross his arms to his chest.

"Would you mind telling me why all of you are hiding in the pantry like a damn fugitive and who the hell told the MIB to stop me?!"

All of sudden my 5 children pointed at me at the same time.

Gideon glare at me.

My eyes widen and mouth agape. I shake my head in denial.

"I am innocent!"

Gideon arch his eyebrow clearly not believing me.

"Truly! I was just eating my cookies when Gabriel shouted like a banshee."

"A handsome banshee mother. Please add the word handsome."

"Okay Gabriel shouts like a handsome banshee." I corrected my first statement . "And then I run then he run after me. Next thing I know all our children are running after me then we hide here for no reason."

"The MIB?"

"Uhmm. I plead the fifth."

Gideon sigh and closed his eyes. He murmur a few words that I can not decipher but I definetly hear the word . I think he is praying for what? Enlightenment?

Gideon opened his eyes and direct his gaze to Gabriel.

"You spawn number 3 get out!"

I heard Gabriel whimpered and tried to grab the shelf of one of the pantry.

Grey roll his eyes and lift Gabriel. He hand his squirming handsome brother to Gideon like he just hand a doll and not his living and breathing younger brother.

"Traitor!" Gabriel shouted.

Grey just shrugged his shoulders and smirks.

Gideon now place Gabriel in a football hold and goes back to our living room.

We all followed him silently. I am curious on why was Gideon looking for Gabriel.

Gideon placed Gabriel on the couch gently. I thought he will just yeet him on the couch and that will be hilarious.

He stare down and glare at him.

"Explain why don't I need to ground your ass."

"It's not my fault daddy." Gabriel remorsefully answered.

"They are bullying him so I defend-"

Gideon cut him off.

"By burning his car down and almost killing them. Yeah I heard."

Gabriel gasp in surprise but I doubt that he was not aware that they are inside the car. He is Gideon's son. That speaks for itself. "They are still in the car? Are they still alive?"

Gideon sigh for the millionth time and rub his forehead.

Gideon squat down and hold both of Gabriel's hand.

"Listen Gabriel. I know you have good intention but son we can do it in another way. Your arsonist way should be-"

"Daddy no evidence if we burn it. No fingerprints." Gabriel defends.

We all nodded. Even Ameera agreed with her brother's statement. Ooh. We're starting them young in this house.

"Yes I agree." See? Like father like son.

"Like I said I can do the dirty work and just tell me. I'll help you son. I know you don't do something without a valid reason. You almost burn down all the cars in the parking lot!" Gideon exclaimed.

"Sorry daddy." Gabriel said meekly.

Gideon patted Gabriel's head.

"Next time I'll make sure there are no other cars around." Gideon's patting stop and he almost hit Gabriel but he shouted. "I am joking! I am joking!"

I don't think he is Joking. Like I said he's Gideon's son after all.

"You are not allowed to use your laboratory for 2 weeks and also 1 slice of dessert only for 2 weeks."

All my children including me gasp when they heard what is Gabriel's punishment.

"Only one?!bu-but." Gideon look at Gabriel sternly.

"You want to extend it?"

"No no. 2 weeks is fine daddy. Chill."

Gideon nodded and walk out of the room. I bet he'll go to our room.

I kiss Gabriel's head and followed Gideon upstairs.

I remove my suit Jacket and slump on the bed.

I swear Gabriel's goal was to put me in an early grave.

I was reviewing some contracts when my landline rang.

"Scott said.

"Connect it."

I lift the hand piece and greet the caller.

"Rosen-Hower."

"Goodmorning Mr. Rosen-Hower this is principal Cowell."

"Are my children alright?" I ask immediately.

"Yes.yes they are safe don't worry sir but I just want to report on one of your children so can you please go to the school now?"

"Ok."

I stand up and button my suit jacket.

I went out and inform Scott to reschedule my meeting this afternoon since one of my children needs me. They are my priority.

I drove towards my children's school with my Black Ferrari. Not a good choice to use for a principal meeting but what the hell.

I parked my car near the entrance and swiftly goes out of the car. I can feel my security lurking in the shadows. I feel like they are hiding something

I walk towards the principal's office ignoring the following MIB's behind me. I know something is up.

I reach the principal's office. I knock and entered the room.

Eight people was sitting inside and the principal was sweating profusely when he greeted me.

"Welcome sir. I am sorry if we disturb your schedule."

"Nonsense. My children needs me. So tell me straight what's the problem."

"Well your son Gabriel set another student's car on fire."

"Your son is a priviliged spoiled brat demon! He almost kill our children!"

A rugged man exclaimed. The 3 other set of parents agreed with him.

"Show me the CCTV footage."

I demanded. I know my son. He don't do anything without any valid reason.

"No need! He was clearly guilty! We will press charges!"

I arch an eyebrow and said "Go ahead I am not stopping you." A knock was heard and I open the door knowing who is on the other side.

The MIB hand me a tablet and the CCTV footage was ready.

I played the video and saw that there are 4 boys surrounding on smaller child and it seems they are roughing him up.

Gabriel entered a few minutes later and say something to the 4 bigger boys.

Gabriel grabbed the smaller boys hand and was out of the frame

A different frame appeared and it shows Gabriel throw something on a black car and after a few minutes it was engulf by flames. The 4 boys scrambling to go out of the car.

I turn off the tablet and face the four sets of parents in front of me.

I stare down at the male who insulted my child.

"Well it seems that I will press charges in behalf of the boy that your son's bullied. I know this school has no tolerance for bullying am I right principal?"

The principal nodded.

"I'll replace the damaged car and I'll deal with my son. Is there any suspension for my Gabriel?"

"1 week."

"Understood. Are we done here?''

The principal nodded again.

"Good. Have a great day everyone."

I swiftly go out of the room and the MIB immediately followed me.

"We already noted the brand of the car. We already cleaned up the mess and gathered all the evidence."

I nodded and thanks the MIB. I went back to my office and resume my work.

I call my lawyers to contact the family of the child that was bullied in Gabriel's school. I told them to offer counseling or whatever he needs.

The door opened and Ella entered with a Jar of cookies embraced on her arms.

"Are you alright Gideon?"

She ask softly.

"Just tired love."

She nodded and sat beside me. She side hugged me. Still not letting go of her jar of cookies.

Well I guess I am not above of her cookies on her hierarchy but at least we are at the same level.

That's what I call progress.
