Chapter 45: Sleep over

I can't sleep. I Really can't. After we ate dinner last night I sleep immediately. I force myself to sleep. The earlier I sleep the faster the next day will come.

So now I am awake. I don't even know what time it is but all I know it is pitch black. I can't see anything. I retrieve my eyeglasses on the side table and wear it but there is no difference

It is still dark.

I attempted to move but Gideons arms are around my waist, his head is on my chest and our legs are tangled. For almost 8 months of being together I did not even know that our position in bed is like this in the middle of the night. I am shock that I don't wake up at all.

It is a miracle I don't over heat on how close we are.

Gideon is not exactly light. I bet he is enjoying using my boobies as his pillow.

I carefully untangle myself to Gideon's embrace which is not an easy feat. After I don't know how long I succesfully remove myself to his grasp. I replace myself with a pillow. He can hug that pillow.

Oh no my dandruffs and hairfall will stick to his face. Lol.

To celebrate my success I dance in the dark. I even try to imitate that running man, that doggie move and moonwalk I saw my classmates doing in highschool but I just look like I am having a seizure. At least I tried albeit in the dark.

It is easier to go to the bathroom since I know the layout of this room. I look at the clock on top of the bathroom mirror.

It is 5:10am. Wow this is the earliest that I woke up voluntarily. Gideon will wake up at 6am. He will panic when he realize that he is alone on our bed.

Since I am in the bathroom already I might as well take a shower.

I enter the shower stall. As I am in the process of removing my clothes I remember that the shower is still set at 98°. Is this hot or what? I did not think this through. What the heck I am here already what am I gonna loose?

The top layer of my skin? It will heal right?

No. You don't regenerate Ella. You're not a werewolf. Stop.

Bummer.

I can't imagine what Gideon's face will look like when he saw me coming out of his bathroom with burn on my whole body.

It will be hilarious.

I cautiously press the shower button. You'll never know it might explode.

Technology and me has no mutual understanding.

Water pour out from all the nozzle literally from the top and on all side of the stall.

The things that run through my mind is. Hey that can be another part of nemo title

And finally why the fudge did Gideon set this thing like this? I am not informed that we have a carwash in our bathroom!

I step out of the stall. To replenish the oxygen from my lungs. I blindly grab my shampoo, soap and conditioner inside that mini carwash. I did it all outside the stall. I don't care if I am making a mess in this bathroom. Yes I mix the conditioner with the shampoo. Live a little people!

All the suds are on the floor. I'd rather get scolded by Gideon because of the mess I make than drown inside the shower then get scolded by Gideon. That is double whammy.

I take a deep deep breath then step inside the shower to remove all the soap all over my body. As I start to run out of oxygen I step out of the blast of water. I reach inside the stall to turn of the shower which I successfully accomplish after pressing multiple buttons. I hope I did not break that thing.

I trudge back to our room after wrapping myself with towels. Gideon is still sleeping. I went to our walk in closet and wear some leggings and the Shirt that I "borrowed" from Gideon's closet.

I'll return it I promise!

I went back to our room and sat on my side of the bed then proceeded to stare at Gideon's sleeping form like a creep. I hope my creepiness will wake him up.

He started to move in I don't know how long and my eyes are starting to hurt already from unblinkingly staring at him.

He adorably rub his eyes with his knuckles and let out a cute yawn. If he learned I use adorable and cute to describe him he will glare and pout at me 100%.

He sat up still not noticing that I am awake already and staring at him like a stalker that I am sure is already considered a crime in 40 states.

He stand up from our bed and went directly in the bathroom without glancing on my side.

A few seconds later I just hear a "What the Bleep!" And a loud bang echoing out of our bathroom.

Well..I guess he discovered my crime.

I contemplated on hiding under the bed to not face his wrath but I think longer than I expected because he was going out of the bathroom with a glare straight at me.

"Will you please explain to me love why there are soap suds on the whole bathroom floor at 6 in the morning? I almost slip on the floor if I did not grab on the counter on time!"

"You see Gideon. Uhmmm."

I need a valid excuse. I need a good explanation to pacify his irritation. Help me!

"Spongebob"

I mentally face palm myself. I can even hear my ancestors say what the fudge.

"What? Spongebob?"

Gideon crossed his arms across his chest letting me dig my own grave deeper.

So I did.

We aim to please.

"It is his fault. You see he got bored under the sea so he float up to the surface and decided to play in our bathroom with Peter the starfish."

"We are not near the beach Ella."

We don't? Maybe spongebob is living in a river?

"Not beach Gideon I mean river. Yes River!"

His glare intensifies.

Okay so there is no River near our house also.

"Well Sally placed them inside a fishbowl and carried them over to our house."

That's the most "valid" reason you can think of Ella?

Shut up Brain! You are not helping!

"Well tell Spongebob and his friends that no dessert since they made a mess in our room and if they did not tell the truth within this minute tell them we will cancel the sleepover."

No!

"It was me." I murmur.

"What? I can't hear you!"

Who lives in a pineapple under the sea.

Stop!

"It is my fault. I -I woke up early very early you know. Voluntarily Gideon! Can you believe it! I mean I always woke up late you know especially on-"

He cutt me off

"Love you're getting sidetracked."

" oh. Yeah. Right. Sorry. So I decided to take a shower and I forgot that the setting of the shower is different from what I used but I don't want to wake you up so I risk my life and use the setting that was on the shower. I did not expect that water will come out on all sides. I almost drown Gideon! Not a good way to die! So I step out and do all the shampoo etc outside the shower stall hence the soap suds. Sorry." I sheepishly smile at him to convey that I am really apologetic but I think I look like I am just having a Bell's palsy.

He sighs and walk towards me.

"Come here love."

I walk towards him and he engulf me with one of his power hugs.

"You should have woken me up Love. Whatever time of the day even if I just started to sleep you should have woke me up. What if something happens to you? Promise me you'll not do this again. Do you understand?"

I nodded.

"And Spongebob is ban for a month so you need to find another show. I'll lift the ban If I saw it fit. Okay?"

"Okay." I mumbled.

Like a good boyfriend Gideon already packed our bags last night. He wants to go to my brother's house after lunch but I convince him to go there earlier so now we are at Blake's place before 8am. The earlier the better.

We approach a big gated property. A little bit smaller than Gideon's but still humongous.

The gate opened and our car travel through a pathway that can fit 3 cars side by side.

A fountain in the middle greets us.

A simple one.

Is it mandatory to have a fountain in every rich persons home? Is it an obsession? They need help honestly.

I saw Blake and Cara waiting outside the front door. I excitedly remove my seatbelt and open the door of the car and run towards Blake as fast as I could.

"Blakey!"

I launch myself at him and he catches me effortlessly.

"I miss you princess!"

"I miss you to Blakey! You should visit me more often!"

"I know I know. I am just swamped at work but promise next month I'll visit you weekly."

"Pinky promise?" I ask and raise my right pinky finger.

He intertwined his pinky finger with mine.

"I promise." We look funny a 23 y/o and a 29 y/o doing pinky promise.

"Cara! I miss you also'' I proceeded to hug Cara Blakes wife.

"Aw.. Ella! I miss you too! Come in! Breakfast is ready. I hope you're hungry."

She guides us inside their house.

A sparkly Chandelier greets us but is it all diamond like Gideon's?

"Cara My Ella is always hungry."

Gideon rebutted.

I slap Gideon's arm and said "No I am not!"

"Don't be shy Ella. Blake is just the same." Cara replied.

"Hey! No I am not! " Blake exclaimed.

Cara gave me a side glance saying "see?"

They prepare lots of food. To Gideon's irritation they beat him on giving me varieties of food. They introduce crepe to me but I like pancake more.

Blakey smugly reminded Gideon that he is much more better than him on every opportunity that he see.

Which irritates Gideon more.

They got those mini elevator that you can put food and deliver it directly to the rooms who requested the food.

Cool right?

Cara excitedly guide me to the room then she said I can use this room whenever I sleepover.

I opened the room and I am amazed.

The room is painted light purple. A king sized bed with a canopy was in the middle of the room. Various size of pillows was spread out of the bed. Sparkly light surrounds the room.

There is also a mini vanity with different beauty product place neatly on top of it.

There is a door that leads to a mini walk in closet but it still empty and the other door is my personal bathroom all tiled with blush pink.

This room is the total opposite of Gideon's room. His room is a combination of black and grey mirroring his personality.

Joke.

Don't tell him I said that.

He'll hide all my chocolates.

"I love it Cara and Blake! Thank you for doing this!" To Gideon's distate I hugged them again.

"Come on princess we are not sleeping here. We prepare a special room to fit us all."

We went to the third floor and the room

Is one of a kind.

It is an observatory room. The roof is a clear glass case that you can visibly see the night sky according to Blake. They placed a gigantic bed in the middle of the room and surrounding it are various things that I don't know what.

"Since you came earlier than expected Ella do you want to go with me to the supermarket so you can choose what snacks do you want?" Cara said.

"Yes!"

Yey! Bonding!

The four of us went to Walmart. Gideon and Blake are bickering non stop.

We got those big carts and we are still on the 3rd aisle and our cart is already full. You know why? Blake placed all the food that he wants. So in the end we got another cart since the 1st cart was almost full.

Outside Blake is very stoic. He looks like he is glaring and in a bad mood 24/7. His heterochromia adds to that effect. This proves he is really close with Gideon because he is the same. Stoic and cold but on the inside cuddly and soft.

I got so excited on this trip that I realized late that I only know few snacks but hey she can introduce me to new ones. I am open for suggestions.

Gideon is not a fan of chips but he will eat a chip or two if he is in the mood for one which is very rare.

I placed cookies, different brand of chocolates. I even placed a pancake mix.

Reaching the cashier the four of us argues who will pay for our things. We played rock, paper, scissors to decide the winner. In the end Blake won.

After we arrive at their house. Blake and Gideon decided to work out in their gym. Cara and Me decided to do some pampering. We do a mini facial and she call a massage therapist for our body.

This is the first time I am having a massage and IT WAS VERY PAINFUL.

I am not doing it again! Ever!

Cara said the 2nd time will be relaxing. I doubt that.

The 2 brute found us on my room lying on the bed with mask and cucumbers covering our eyes and face.

"Babe Let's eat. It is already lunch." Blake whined.

"Five more minutes." Cara replied.

"What is the difference five minutes gonna do? Feed me woman!"

"If you don't shut up Blake this 5 minutes will increase to 15 minutes. Try me." Cara cooly said to Blake.

I can hear Gideon snickering.

"Five minutes babe. Yup copy. Actually James is the one who is hungry but I told him you are relaxing. This guy is impatient." Blake explained.

I can hear a "ow!" And "what the fudge!"

I bet Gideon hit Blake on the head.

As promised after 5 minutes we rewash our face. We found our 2 guys sitting on the dining table. Gideon casually sitting on the chair while blankly staring at Blake who is impatiently tapping his foot and pouting back at my Boyfriend.

As soon as he hears the tapping of our slippers on the floor Blake's face brightened and yelled "Finally!"

Cara just rolled her eyes.

"We are not that even late. It is only 8 minutes."

I sat beside Gideon then we started to eat lunch. Gideon scoops some rice and roasted chicken and meatloaf on my plate. I glance on my left and see the same scenario. Blake was scooping food for Cara. I wonder if Gideon learned to treat a woman from Blake. Like I said before they are very similar.

We finish eating lunch then we went out to the garden. Thank God I already take my anti allergy meds.

We played Hide and seek. Cara won. She climb a freaking tree to hide from us! Blake is already worried since we can't find her for 20 minutes He even thought she hide in the swimming pool. Well if Cara's a friend of Nemo and can hold her breath for a long time why not right? He was horrified when he saw her hiding on top of a tree.

I mean on top of the tree is much better than under the water. Just saying.

I can climb the tree to help Cara but before I voice out my plan Gideon is already carrying me back inside the house knowing already my plan.

Woops.

My brother and Cara went back inside the house after 10minutes. Leaves sticking out of both of their hair dirt smeared on their faces. I tried but I can't stop laughing at their appearance. They both look ridiculous

In the end the four of us are laughing.

After freshening up we went up to the observatory room to relax.

Cara decided that we will apply nail polish to our man's nails. They tried to protest but Cara won.

I don't plan on crossing Cara ever. She is frightening. My own 6 foot something purely muscled brother is afraid of his 4 foot something wife.

I painted Gideon's nails silver while Cara painted Blakey's nails glittered pink to my brother's dismay.

They set up a projector and we watch Barbie the nutcracker and the princess and the pauper.

"Wow. So that is barbie. She's beautiful." I murmured.

I did not notice that all 3 of them heard what I said.

"She is in her own way but You are more beautiful love." Gideon you liar.

"You mean you don't know who Barbie is Ella?" Ask Cara.

"Nope. Not familiar with her at all."

"You poor baby!" Cara exclaimed then hugged me real tight and she might accidentally hit Blake's face in the process. I saw Blake rubbing his jaw in pain.

"Don't worry you're not missing anything Ella. Come on! Group hug! Group hug!"

"Group hug!" Blake shouted. He was suppose to hug my back but Gideon pushed him and he fell on the bed face first while Gideon proceeded to hugged my back and Blake grumbly transfer to the other side near Cara.

They are like 5 years old I swear.

I did not know that sleepover is this fun. I am thankful that one by one I experience this things albeit late but hey better late than never right?
